Hello to all,

Just curious if anyone can tell me roughly how long disputes/complaints generally take to be resolved?
Not going into any detail about what or where, but so far it is coming up to 2 months. Do you think it will take much longer?
Is it a good or bad sign for taking so long?

Thanks and merry christmas

If you are talking about a PAB ....

AFAIK there is no PAB from the OP so ... must be talking about trying to get things resolved directly with the casino or via one of the licensing agencies or somesuch.

@nuttygambler: if you thought you had submitted a PAB let me know 'cause something has obvious gone off the rails with that.

Thanks for the replies but no PAB.

Just asking how long investigations/disputes generally take.

Then all we can say is " it depends ".........................

If it's an accredited or decent casino and you haven't gotten resolved on your own, then consider doing the "Pitch a Bitch" (PAB) and asking for Max's help.

Considering you are asking members for advice, you could at least provide some information like who is handling the complaint and roughly what it about.

It's virtually impossible to assist you without this information.

You may as well have asked how long a piece of string was.

Thanks,

I understand it's hard to know.

And Nifty, I understand I haven't given out any information and I am not going too. Don't want to jepodise anything.

I must learn to gain that skill of patience. I have none, maybe a new years resolution for me, although I never stick to those things.

Thanks once again.

I never filed a complaint with any casino, I was just curious just in case the situation ever came down to it. So I PM'd Max a while back and
this is what he told me in regards to a PAB question I had.

"My experience is that if your issue is active at CDS the casino will often, though not always, refuse to discuss the matter with us until the CDS process runs it's course. This typically takes 1.5 to 3 months, sometimes longer"

Thanks,

eCogra believe that allowing 14 days for things to be resolved internally should be sufficient. After 14 days, eCogra are prepared to intervene. This only applies to eCogra sealholding venues, they will not help if the casino is not one of their seal holders.

Licensing jurisdictions vary. If it's the LGA (Malta), 2 months is nothing, they have been known to take 2 YEARS before simply rubber stamping the casino's story.

2 months is more than long enough to take up the free PAB service here. Provided the casino is not in the rogue pit, or on the "no can do" list, you can submit a PAB. Having not posted specifics should make this process run as smoothly as it can, and you should consider this option before enlightening us with more specific details on this case.

Remember, take them by surprise, don't tell them that you will take it here until you have actually submitted the PAB and it has been accepted, and then a neutral "I have now taken this to mediation with Casinomeister, you will be hearing from them shortly." Using a threat to go to the forums or PAB just as a means to bully them into paying is frowned upon, but having taken such a step, a polite reminder that they will now have to deal with an external mediator, rather than yourself, prepares them to expect such an approach, amd makes it hard for them to pretend they had "no idea" Max was trying to communicate with them on your behalf.

If they are really just stalling in the hope you will go away, rather than having solid grounds for not paying, you should find that a favourable resolution is swift.

I had a similar experience with an eCogra casino. They didn't pay, and didn't communicate. I sent them an email asking if there was a problem, and only then did they say they were "bound by eCogra rules" to delay my payment pending an "investigation". I thanked them, and told them I was aware of these rules in eGap, and that I would give them the full 14 days as specified to complete their deliberations.

They paid the following morning:D

I uninstalled said casino - PERMANENTLY.

Just to keep this updated. Nothing new has happened, probably due to the Christmas holidays.

Will let you know if this changes any time soon. So far 2 months, let's hope it will not be 6.

Enjoy new years eve!

Maybe I can ask some simple questions first.

1/ Which software are you referring to, Realtime Gaming, Microgaming, Playtech, Netentertainment or others?

2/Does the issue involve a bonus?

3/ Are you not being paid?

4/ Is your account locked?

5/ Click on the i-gaming reps tab above. Is the casino among them. If so, you can try to send a pm (private message) to the rep. This is usually the most effective way to resolve issues.

Hope this helps.

Been there, done that (not personally the ones on this site)
Hope this helps.

I am going through all the channels. Will let you know what happens afterwards. Thanks.

Honestly, what a total waste of a thread.

Maybe ill start one of my own titled "How long does it take to get to the city?". I could then refuse to say where I am, what city I'm talking about, or how I'm traveling.

If you want members to help you.....provide some basic information. Most of us will be happy to help but if we don't have the slightest idea what you're on about you're just wasting our time and yours. I mean, you could'nt even explain what IBAS is....its bordering on rude when you obviously couldn't be arsed to type more than 4 letters.

Waste – is it?

I asked a question, then just updated to write to say if anything had/hadn’t happened yet.

If people are not interested then they can move onto another thread. People have a choice to select a thread or not.

You previously wrote about there not being enough information and yes there isn’t and I said back then I was not going to post anything of any detail whilst I am trying to sort it out. I feel this is only right. But I can still update as such. Well I have done (even if it isn’t much).

You moan yet you read. I haven’t asked for any help. I asked for a little bit of info at the beginning and then went on my way to find out for myself and updated just in case someone was interested.

If you think I’ve wasted your reading time, my apologies, just avoid this post in the future.

Now I’m sounding like I’m being harsh  and it’s not my intention at all.
It’s just a simple thread. Boring thread perhaps, but a thread nevertheless!

Well, the point is that I was willing to help you initially otherwise I would have ignored the thread.

Of course you can post what you like, but asking "how long do complaints take to resolve" with no other information???.....what exactly were you wanting in regards to assistance or information? As I said, its like asking "how long is a piece of string".

Members here are pretty good and very patient when it comes to helping answer genuine queries, so the least the person asking can do is provide basic background to enable them to assist.

I could almost understand being too vague in your opening post, but pretty much every comment was vague thereafter and it almost felt like the people freely offering their time and experience were being disrespected. One example is when you just posted the acronym for the complaint service.....no explanation/definition, no "thanks for the help. The service is called blah blah". How much effort does it take to type a few words to at least create the impression that you appreciate the help offered (and you DID ask for help BTW)

Nobody expected you to post every detail, but simply naming the complaint service would have sufficed. How on earth could that have compromised anything? It could lead one to think you were trying to hide something.

What's even stranger is that you claim to be not asking for help, but updating us.....on what? A complaint against some operator about some issue involving something?

I just think.it was rude.
