Ah the casedemic stick that the media switched to from deaths after a month or so last year, a recent German court ruling on April 8th to do with masks, also had this in the report from court testimony.

Regarding the PCR test, the court writes: "The expert witness Prof. Dr. med. Kappstein already points out in her expert opinion that the PCR test used can only detect genetic material, but not whether the RNA originates from viruses that are capable of infection and thus capable of replication (= capable of reproduction).

The expert Prof. Dr. rer. biol. hum. Kämmerer also confirms, in her expert opinion on molecular biology, that a PCR test - even if it is carried out correctly - cannot provide any information on whether a person is infected with an active pathogen or not.
This is because the test cannot distinguish between "dead" matter, e.g. a completely harmless genome fragment as a remnant of the body's own immune system's fight against a cold or flu (such genome fragments can still be found many months after the immune system has "dealt with" the problem) and "living" matter, i.e. a "fresh" virus capable of reproducing.

For example, PCR is also used in forensic work to amplify residual DNA from hair remains or other trace materials by means of PCR in such a way that the genetic origin of the perpetrator(s) can be identified ("genetic fingerprint").
Even if everything is done "correctly" when carrying out the PCR, including all preparatory steps (PCR design and establishment, sample collection, preparation and PCR performance), and the test is positive, i.e. detects a genome sequence which may also exist in one or even the specific "Corona" virus (SARS-CoV-2), this does not mean, under any circumstances, that the person who was tested positive is infected with a replicating SARS-CoV-2 and is therefore infectious = dangerous for other persons.

Rather, in order to determine an active infection with SARS-CoV-2, further, specific diagnostic methods, such as the isolation of replicable viruses, must be used.
Independent of the basic impossibility to detect an infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus with the PCR test, the results of a PCR test, according to the expert Prof. Dr. Kämmerer, depend on a number of parameters which, on the one hand, cause considerable uncertainties and on the other, can be deliberately manipulated in such a way that many or few (apparently) positive results are obtained.
 
From Gov.uk regarding links to rare clots and the oxford astrazeneca vaccine:

"While the MHRA continues to investigate these cases, as a precautionary measure, anyone who has symptoms four days or more after vaccination is advised to seek prompt medical advice, such as:

  • a new onset of severe or persistent headache, blurred vision, confusion or seizures
  • develop shortness of breath, chest pain, leg swelling or persistent abdominal pain
  • unusual skin bruising or pinpoint round spots beyond the injection site

"Up to and including 31 March 2021, the MHRA had received 79 UK reports of blood clotting cases alongside low levels of platelets following the use of the COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca:

  • 44 of the 79 cases were of CVST with thrombocytopenia
  • 35 of the 79 cases were of thrombosis in other major veins with thrombocytopenia
  • 79 cases occurred in 51 women and 28 men, aged from 18 to 79 years. It should be noted that more women have been vaccinated with COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca than men.
  • Sadly, 19 people have died out of the 79 cases – 13 females and 6 males. 11 out of the 19 people who died were under the age of 50, 3 of whom were under 30. 14 of these 19 cases were of CVST with thrombocytopenia and 5 were of thrombosis with thrombocytopenia.
  • All 79 cases occurred after a first dose of the vaccine.
This risk, based on reports up to and including 31 March, is slightly higher than the risk calculated from the reports published up to and including 24 March. However, likelihood of these blood clots occurring is still extremely rare.

As a precaution, administration of COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca in people of any age who are at higher risk of blood clots because of their medical condition should be considered only if benefits from the protection from COVID-19 infection outweighs potential risks."

This forum is already a huge source of division as it is.

Besides, who in their right mind would even consider coming here to post, when they know that the punishment they will incur for having the audacity to express an unpopular opinion will likely be to have that hysterical bampot vorcirion screaming "you're a racist" at the top of its voice?

They probably thought "nah, fuck that for a game of soldiers". I can't say I blame them one jot.
Life is already difficult enough as it is (for most of us), without coming to a forum (that is supposed to provide a welcome distraction from humdrum,
yet conspires to do the exact opposite!) and having a miserable woketard that engages in wanton slander, (yet never so much as receives an infraction for such conduct! :rolleyes: ) hammering the final nail in the coffin of your day.

That all said, for all we know, members from both sides of the political divide may well be frequently going at it on the .us site.
If they were to do the same here, these threads would be insta-forked.

Division, cancel culture and victimhood rule the roost nowadays. The days of politely agreeing to disagree are over.
And as for having an intelligent, hassle-free discussion on this forum? That is now an exceptional event, when it used to be the norm.

Is it any wonder that the likes of Harry, goatie, lotusch (and several other notable EX-regulars) have left the forum, with little to no prospect of ever returning?

This forum has become heavily politicised. And not for the better.

I can't argue with most of that really. I visit an american dominated forum and the american's can be extremely combative. I think that is a sign of the times unfortunately. Them and us with little consideration to the fact that there is an in between. I'll make no mention of posters who are no longer here to respond.
The poster you mentioned insinuated that I was racist despite me mentioning a few times that my kids are black and I was with their mum for many years
This guy from what I understand is a left leaning comedian?

Yes Colin, he is. Not sure if he is "more leftist than liberal" or the other way round, but he is definitely somewhere left of centre.

I don't know much about him, even thought I had heard of him as far back as the late 90s (when he did a show called Politically Incorrect).

I never watch BM, but there was a recent RT with BM video clip that I saw on YT where a former Democrat senator (Heidi Heitkamp)
made a comment about Gina Carano (a recent victim of cancel culture) that actually made BM respond "oh, come on!".

In short, he's probably not my cup of tea, but I don't dislike the guy.

Anyhow, I do not wish to get inadvertently dragged into any more political discussions here for two reasons.

1. They never end well and 2. They leave me drained and wishing I had stayed well dafuq out of it. *

So basically, the last thing I ever want to say re: my feelings on Republicans and Democrats is brief, but to the point....

I totally agree that they are mostly just two sides of the same coin. Career politicians. Even Rand Paul who asks awkward questions only goes so far.
American politics to me is outdated and does need reform IMHO

The lockdown response has always been about heralding in bigger changes [more digital and technology based] to society that authorities/wef desired, covid was the opportunity to bring in these changes, dressed up as a 'solution' [in my opinion]

I missed my 2nd jab, no ones fault really just one of those things.....

Trying to rebook however, geez, gimme strength, would be easier to get 5 DoA wild lines and a 10,000x on Bonanza in the same day!

Thing is boss is on my back and what can I do when I have zero control over these matters

The hub where I went for 1st jab is closed, my surgery has no Pfizer stock etc etc

Looking at least 4 weeks wait but at least I can tell my boss it is more or less sorted.

It is generally thought that the sole function of viral membrane fusion proteins is to allow the viruses to bind to the host cells for the purpose of viral entry into the cells, so that the genetic materials can be released and the viral replication and amplification can take place. However, recent observations suggest that the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein can by itself trigger cell signaling that can lead to various biological processes. It is reasonable to assume that such events, in some cases, result in the pathogenesis of certain diseases.

Our laboratory only tested the effects of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein in lung vascular cells and those implicated in the development of PAH. [Pulmonary arterial hypertension] However, this protein may also affect the cells of systemic and coronary vasculatures, eliciting other cardiovascular diseases such as coronary artery disease, systemic hypertension, and stroke.

In addition to cardiovascular cells, other cells that express ACE2 have the potential to be affected by the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, which may cause adverse pathological events. Thus, it is important to consider the possibility that the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein produced by the new COVID-19 vaccines triggers cell signaling events that promote PAH, other cardiovascular complications, and/or complications in other tissues/organs in certain individuals.

We will need to monitor carefully the long-term consequences of COVID-19 vaccines that introduce the spike protein into the human body. Furthermore, while human data on the possible long-term consequences of spike protein-based COVID-19 vaccines will not be available soon, it is imperative that appropriate experimental animal models are employed as soon as possible to ensure that the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein does not elicit any signs of the pathogenesis of PAH or any other chronic pathological conditions.

In conclusion, the recent advancement in the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein-based COVID-19 vaccine development is exciting and has shed light on how to end the current pandemic. These vaccines should benefit elderly people with underlying conditions if they do not exhibit any acute adverse events. However, we need to consider their long-term consequences carefully, especially when they are administered to otherwise healthy individuals as well as young adults and children.

^ This is why the anti vax label casually thrown about is silly, otherwise scientists researching their area could receive the label, yes you can be paranoid about the safety of something and therefore no proof is ever going to be enough, but we need to set the bar as high as possible regarding safety. If we'd used drugs like ivermectin [or some other anti virals ] we could have had longer to research the vaccines, instead of using the emergency authorisation. How can you have a system [potentially coming soon] where you're blocked from an activity because you haven't had a experimental vaccine, at least the govts seem to be allowing for a recent negative test result as an alternative, that seems a reasonable trade off, given also the majority vaccinated are protected from serious illness in the first place.

I really hope they're okay as most of my family now have had one and going for their 2nd soon, impossible to discuss any potential issues, just come up against an impenetrable wall of covid fear and 'there is no option' replies.

I think for most people it will be alright but longer term effects could occur in some people, just like anything in life I suppose

Perhaps better vaccines will come out and they'll slowly migrate to using them, I did hear or read a scottish bio firm is testing/bringing out a vaccine based on a attenuated whole virus like an old fashioned vaccine, so that could be as close a replication of a natural infection, other than the extra ingredients in the solution.

If it's a Scottish firm they're probably laced it with Irn Bru
 
We currently have a couple of vaccine types in use in Hungary
mRNS: mostly Pfizer and limited Moderna
vector: mostly Sputnik (the Russian one) and a lesser amount of AstraZeneca
whole virus: Sinopharm (one of the Chinese ones)

The mRNS ones are the most accepted, many people wait for them to become available. Sputnik is well accepted (and it is expected to perform better than Astra, not enough data to tell yet). Astra developed a bad reputation mostly due to the big delays and the cogs issue. Also because the side effects of Astra seem to occur with a higher frequency than expected (i.e. body temperature rise above 37c rather occurs with a ~70-80% frequency as opposed to the 33% expected). Sinopharm is not accepted by at least 50% of the registered persons.

That brings us to a state where we will soon run out of the Russian one completely, continue to have more demand than supply for Pfizer/Moderna and we will soon have less demand than supply for Sinopharm, potentially also for Astra.

Vaccines minister Nadhim Zahawi said: "These results are very promising and provide renewed hope that a vaccine using a whole inactivated virus might provide strong protection against variants."

He said if results from the phase three clinical trials were as positive, and the vaccine met "robust standards of safety" it would become "another powerful weapon in our arsenal to beat this pandemic".
 
It was really a fluke I was able to book a vaccine .65 miles (1.04km) away. I think I was reading this thread or something about covid and my limited attention span kicked in and I jumped over to the vaxfinder site and saw "available" instead of "currently full" like it did the other 2 dozen times I checked.
 
Swedish government confirms what some of us were attacked for pointing out, that the large number of "cases"
is from tests with a too high CT i.e over 90% are false positives and on top of that cannot detect between a new infection or old remnants of a normal flu from say months and months ago. No wonder Twat Mancock said Test, Test, Test last year and the constant testing in schools, got to keep the casedemic going.

haha I was expecting you to say that, find the only thing you can attack about it and ignore the actual point that the test is flawed, so the test is perfectly fine and not flawed because it's from 2020 gotcha, there is a post I made a few posts ago where in court at the beginning of April when a judge ruled masks out in Germany 2 experts in the medical field said the same thing about the test cannot say if it is remnants of an old infection or a new infection, the inventor of the PCR test Karry Mullis said many years ago it cannot and should not be used for virus diagnostic purposes, but despite the fact he is the inventor of the PCR test itself because he said this many years ago then I guess his opinion doesn't count because it was years ago when he said, toddle off to Snopes, I am sure they will say just because he invented PCR it doesn't mean he knows what he is talking about.
