I am so worried about not being able to spend my xmas with my daughter that it's unreal. Restrictions change now in the UK within less than a day.I think this is the latest information released.
It should link to the english version, if it does not, you can change language in the top right corner of the page.

link please Col, I can't find a single thing being reported saying that?I think that you best back track a little on your investigations about what the king of Sweden and his gov actually meant to say rather that what was reported. They backtracked because of misrepretentation.
Fingers crossed Col. Our cases up here are falling daily, I think Cheltenham has a fairly low rate too, with no signs of an increase, so I would imagine you will be okI am so worried about not being able to spend my xmas with my daughter that it's unreal. I have family around so I am much better off than a lot. But buggering about with you country folks lives at the last minute when you must have had the mutation data at hand for at least a month is really not being transparent

I will. Sorry if I am slow with links but I am pissed to be honest cos there is little else that I can do at the moment. I will provide the link if I can, But respect the fact that quite often links and original data these days are altered or deletedlink please Col, I can't find a single thing being reported saying that?
Not sure why they would backtrack, their approach has failed.

Anyone that still thinks this is about a virus is a cunt, if that gets me banned so be it. This is about destroying our way of life.

The UK figures today are truly horrendous. Tuesday's are going to be horrific as they are always the highest of the week.
35,928 cases in the UK. +17,481
326 deaths in the UK. +182
2,034 patients admitted to hospital in the UK. +348
18,771 patients in hospital in the UK. +2,240
1,364 patients on ventilation in the UK. +89
+ figures are compared to last Sunday.
23,243 of the cases are from London, South East and East Anglia, so the rest of the country wasn't too bad, sure that will change after the scenes on the trains after Tier 4 was announced
I can't see any way there isn't going to be a full, national lockdown in the next week or two, including closing schools etc as they did for the first one. Considering hospitalisations tend to follow 10-14 days after cases, then deaths 2-3 weeks after that, the next month or so isn't going to be good
Cobra meeting in the morning which is never good news, and looks like there will be panic buying again soon considering countries are now closing borders with us, including the French who aren't even allowing freight in the country, so thats us fucked for a load of food short term, as even though drivers can come to the UK (apparently) they can't go back, so can't see many thinking, oh lets drive to England a few days before Christmas and get stuck there, missing Christmas with our families.

It is not quite so easy to find info that goes against the narrative these days. The article that I originally read Saturday morning can not be found. However I have found these. Sweden's approach is still radically different to most countries and life is going on in Sweden. It appears that a few other Scandinavian countries are modelling their approach on Sweden's. It is worth noting that the Swedish Government have taken a back seat and left the decision making to over 100 of their top scientist.link please Col, I can't find a single thing being reported saying that?

I am simply waiting to see how things develope over the next 3 or so monthsNone and won’t take a vaccine.
I think we are entering a very dangerous phase and the outlook is worse than its even been. They are still farting around with bubbles and tiers, every lockdownThe UK figures today are truly horrendous. Tuesday's are going to be horrific as they are always the highest of the week.

People will drink them selfs to death ruin there kidneys,
People will smoke " And have no idea what's inside a cigarette" destroying there lungs and giving them cancer
People will over eat and ruin there body and getting cancer due to obesity
People will take drugs like cocaine and heroin
But they refuse to take a vaccine made by some of the most intelligent well educated people on the planet cause they " Dont know what's inside it" or believe all the fake shit on social media and are uneducated.
They happy enough puffing on a fag full of chemicals but not taking a vaccine which has been approved by loads of different independent regulators
Its blows my mind when I think about it, If only they took a step back of social media and looked in it more they might just open there eyes and see this is nothing but another vaccine the likes we have been taking for decades.

Tragedy waiting to happen? You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
"Clinicians have been providing anecdotal evidence of a shift in the clinical epidemiological picture – in particular noting that they are seeing a larger proportion of younger patients with no comorbidities presenting with critical illness,"
South Africa having issues of their own with a new mutation, and it's summer down there...
Tragedy waiting to happen?
Elderly and vulnerable people all vaccinated but the young are not vaccinated in time before this new severe strain takes hold?
Would you bet against it?
Well, Tomorrow is again Tuesday but as the saying goes 'Its always darkest before dawn'. Though the mutation has rendered the coronavirus to be highly contagious, hopefully those infected will not develop serious complications. The UK figures today are truly horrendous. Tuesday's are going to be horrific as they are always the highest of the week.

In the red corner: Experts in the field of immunology with collective decades of knowledge backed by over a century of research.
In the blue corner: Angry Facebook Karens with absolutely no medical qualifications and twenty minutes on Google.
Round one! *Ding ding*
HereWhere did you read about other Scandinavian countries modelling their approach on Sweden's?
Finland is not part of Scandinavia because it geographically doesn't share the Scandinavian penninsula the way Sweden and Norway are. However, Finland is considered a Nordic country like Iceland, due to its northernly location close to Sweden and Norway.

I see the panic buying is back as the press are shit-stirring again, for Xmas dinner shortages, despite the supermarkets telling us they have ample supplies already. Sprouts, potatoes, turkey etc. and most other goods are UK-produced anyway, we're talking fresh broccoli and cauliflower etc. which isn't produced in the UK this time of year and of course those foul French cheeses.
I am hoping to get pigs-in-blankets as I cannot face @ChopleyIOM if I failed to secure those bastards.
Indeed. Out of caution, we just did our Xmas shop. Busy, but served quickly and everything was there in abundance, 100% of the list bought. Happy days. Including pigs-in-blankets.The produce required for Christmas is basically already in the country, and the supermarkets have been planning for it for months.
There isn't going to be any immediate food shortage and even going into the new year once transition end there will still be the movement of freight, of course.
There is however the potential for serious disruption to supply chains once transition ends and customs checks come in, along with all the associated form-filling and nightmare bureaucracy, intertwined with a possible resurgence of the Covid crisis.
No one's going to starve to death, there will still be food on the shelves, but we could very well see choice reduced and will almost certainly see increased prices.

I always thought you bought the pigs and blankets separately and had to assemble them at home, like Ikea furniture.Indeed. Out of caution, we just did our Xmas shop. Busy, but served quickly and everything was there in abundance, 100% of the list bought. Happy days. Including pigs-in-blankets.![]()

Plate of sausages, plates of bacon; move fork to plate one, plate 2 and then in to-your mouth; saves you the hassle.
Never had them actually; I’m sure they’re as lovely as meat wrapped another meat sounds though.
Yes, we are doing that this year, but could have been typically British-lazy and bought the ready-made ones.I always thought you bought the pigs and blankets separately and had to assemble them at home, like Ikea furniture.
