Hello all! i'm going to London very soon and wounder if fellow UK members or if you know about a place could recommend a hotel near London centrum with fair price? i don't really care about the standard as i just going to spend my time in hotel for sleeping so if you know a budget hotel near London centrum please give me a hotel name and i will check it out!

There is a HUGE amount of choice, but before people start chiming in with hotel names a piece of advice based off my own recent visit for the gaming conferences there.

London is MASSIVE. If you're going to do or see something specific make sure the hotel is in the right area. Trekking from my hotel across the city and back each day was an epic journey, and I'm not the only one who felt that way. There were times I felt I should have been carrying a small ring to throw into Mt Doom when I got there!

Good luck with the hunt.

If you want cheap and central in London then you are really going to get low quality. The always reliable travelodge (travelodge.co.uk) have decent deals if you book in advance. They have some good locations, but prices go up pretty quickly.

There are so many hotels in London that I would recommend jumping on tripadvisor.co.uk for advice and then trivago.co.uk to get the price you want.

Alternative option - rent a private room from someone at airbnb.com

Happy hunting!

Thanks guys i appreciate your comments :)

i found one that i maybe go for, its called Central Park Hotel at 49/67 Queensborough Terrace, London.

at £220 for three nights.

is this area good & not that far from sentrum?

If that is what you can afford then I would definitely consider it. This is West, but not too far out, maybe 5-10 minutes on tube to shops, restaurants and bars. I haven't checked the hotel reviews, but the area is safe and near a local park which might give you some nice views.

Yes lol well consider how much i donate to slots i actually can pay this amount :p the reviews on this hotel is basic, the - is the room is very small, but the + is its clean, central, and ok price :)

1. Yes
2. Smart casual (I was wearing jeans & an ordinary shirt).
3. No. Some are members only though.
4. No way! That used to be in the Amusement Arcades (now £500 max) - in the proper casinos it's at least £500.
5. Yes.

Above based on my trip to London last month; I went in the Empire & the Hippodrome - both in Leicester Square.

I see you've sorted the hotel now. Personally I always use Booking.com - they have a HUGE range of accommodation from very cheap to ludicrously expensive!

I hope you enjoy our capital

Not too sure to be honest, I would think £1 or £2 most likely.

Your best bet is send a PM to Simmo! He is more of a B&M casino slot player than me and I just know he will be able to answer all of your questions!
(He was one of the guys I went to the casino with last month )

If you are planning on going to a casino in London, you have to, have to, have to, have to, have to go to Aspers in Stratford up by the Olympic Park :)

Has a couple of hundred slot machines and is the only casino in the UK ( I stand to be corrected ) which is allowed more than 20 slot machines.

Also has several of the WMS games as well. Minimum bet is about 10pence I think. Maximum around £2.

Thank you webcaz for the aspers, i really liked that place :D we had about £170 to use at the casino and we lost about £150 and i picked the lucky lady charm slot and putted last £20 at £0.50 and boom £250, 500X it just keeped retrigging, i think it went to total 120 freespins! lol :p so we used our winning to more beers and taxi to our hotel

we had amazing time in london and really looking forward to next time again :notworthy
