Casino requesting documents again after approval

Not sure if it has happend to anyone else here but here is my story.

I am using Jackpot City Casino and in July of this year they asked for the standard proof documents after I did a withdraw. I sent them the documentation and everything went thru and got a confirmation email then that the documents I sent were aproved. So over the next few months I did a couple of more withdraws without any issues but today I get another email asking for documentation. It is from the same player support email address as the last one. I find it strange that they would need to ask for a second set of documents for verification after approving it not long ago. I could understand if it was a annual verification but the email did not mention any of this.

Thanks Vega for the tip. I have sent them their email stating the approval so I will see what happens after this. I am hoping this is just one hand not taking the checked information from another. I really would wonder if they did lose my old docs.

Thanks Googo I have message their rep to see what happens hopefully they are on the ball cause it is strange why they would ask for the same documents.

This is pretty bad news for me as I get verified before I deposit in case the casino tries something funny when/if I go to withdraw.
This means that even if you get verified they can still deny winnings citing verification.

I do the same thing. I always send my documents right away for any place I want to play at so there are no issues later ( like send to the Philippines). Most places do however mention in their T & C that they can ask for documents any time. I've never had to submit twice.

I imagine this is just a simple over-site and the rep will take care of it.

It can happen if one of the original documents has expired.

Whilst they may only need a fresh copy of the expired document, a bog standard verification request is often sent.

I have had further requests for verification, and usually it's down to one document expiring, another deposit or withdraw threshold being passed, or simply a mistake in checking my account status.

Another trigger could also be down to a change in (electronic) circumstances, like changing ISP, as this can look like the account has been taken over by someone else. I have also encountered fresh requests when the casino has a new player sign up that they think might be me with a duplicate account - just shows they NEVER properly trust their players, not even their VIPs. In such cases, it's the NEW player they should be placing under extra scrutiny, I have proved myself over many years.

Okay they were at least quick on this and things are cleared up. It was a mix up on their part is what was the reason they gave me and looks like they were looking at something else. But I still have this feeling that if I did not keep the old email of confirmation I may of had to send over everything again and have a withdraw delayed.

Just shows how securely they store and process our personal information:rolleyes:
