I was sent an email offer for a 50% up to $500 free bonus. I deposited my $1000 and wagered it (and lost my entire deposit) on SLOTS, and then never received the bonus. When i asked live chat about it, the guy said I "wasn't qualified". Now, I know about their past shenanigans, so I DID make a $20 deposit and played it through earlier that week. There is absolutely NO reason why I shouldn't be qualified. I told him this and he asked me to forward him a copy of the email I received for the promo. I did this. He said that the promotions department would get back to me. They never did.

This is nothing more than a scam and they shouldn't get away wit this. They were happy to take my $1000 deposit, but they won't credit the $500 bonus that they specifically offered to me? My username was even in the email!

I'm not sure where to go from here, but hopefully they will read this, and credit the bonus I rightfully earned. I'd also like others here to be informed that they are using bait-and-switch tactics and not awarding promised bonuses to their players.

Part of the Grand Prive group, about which much has been posted here and elsewhere recently - very little of it complimentary.

These guys are becoming notorious in a management sense for their left hand not knowing what their right is doing, amongst other and more serious shortcomings.

That being the case, this could well be a simple promo screw-up that could be resolved through escalating your problem to a member of management, which you can do via their Support (unfortunately their representative here at Casinomeister did a duck when they were rogued recently)

If that fails, then they are still regulated by eCOGRA which means you can get fast attention at management level by submitted an online complaint at www.ecogra.org where the Fair Gaming Advocate will take up your case direct - she usually turns these things around in a few days.

If they sent you a direct email on this promo with your user name in it, then that constitutes a firm offer. If you accepted that offer, deposited and played to the rules of the promo in the T&Cs then they are obligated to honour your action with the promised returns.

The only acceptable reason for them not doing so is if you have been fraudulent in some way, which does not appear to be the case here.

I didn't think GP ever had a rep on board? They never publicly reply to any problems or questions that I've seen at least. I know they used to monitor several forums, but now behave as if they think forums (and members) are beneath them. Unfortunately, this casino group offers many bonuses and then tend to treat players who take them up on these offers as abusers -- particularly if you are not 'in the red' (showing a loss).

At any rate, in the past, they have been known for management taking a holiday and leaving only frontline CS at work during holidays and weekends. You may have a chance to get this taken care of if you phone and email them again on Monday or Tuesday when it is more likely that someone in management will be working.

Good luck! And let us know if this is resolved.

Playing devil's advocate here, but did the email have "on your first deposit" anywhere in it, or in the T&C link? It may be a 50/50 shot of getting this money if it was...On the other hand, if it wasn't, then fight tooth & nail for that $ :)

When did you make your deposit?
Usually when they have an offer bonus is credited automatically
but you have to deposit and wager within A SPECIFIC PERIOD, usually 6PM to 12 midnight. This is usually specified in their promo email.

TRUST ME THEY WONT SCAM YOU OUT OF $500. With a 20x WR on slots your chance of cashing in anything is close to zero.

If it's like any of the other promotions on their website, it's credited in 24 hours, as long as the deposit is wagered 1x.

It doesn't change the fact the Grand Prive service now SUCKS! I closed all accounts with this group for the sole reason of C/S not returning any emails and bonuses were not being credited. At one time Grand Bay used to be my favorite.

Yes, it was supposed to be credited within 24 hours, but it wasn't. To answer everyone's questions: Yes, I deposited and played within the specified time frome. Yes, I wagered it fully on slots and nothing else. No, it didn't say "on your first deposit" anywhere. This was one of their normal weekly promos and as I mentioned, my USERNAME was on it.

I have been playing there for a long time and I have always followed rules. I have won a decent amount there in the past so what I think happened is that they took me off their list for crediting but forgot to take me off their email list. Only one other time was I denied a bonus from them and they told me it was because I didn't deposit and wager at least $20 on a non-bonus deposit during the same week. I accepted that because it was in their terms and made sure to do that from then on. This time, since I received the email and deposited, played (and even lost) within the 6pm-midnight time frame, AND made that $20 deposit during the week, I absolutely deserve this bonus.

I looked at the eCogra site, but it says that the will not take a case if you post in a forum about the issue. Did I already ruin my chances with them by posting here? Or would it be okay because I didn't know?

We ask that you do not place posts regarding the complaint on any forums nor should you seek assistance from another third party service while we work your case. Either of these will result in the immediate termination of our assistance.

That rule only applies after submitting a complaint, not before.

I don't think the Fair Gaming Advocate will hold that against you, Roryjc :) The rule is really intended to avoid more emotional folks trashing a casino and exacerbating the issue before the mediator has had a chance at cracking a resolution.

Go ahead and lodge a complaint.

Hi roryjc,

You said you asked chat about this bonus and he said you weren't qualified. If I was told that by chat, after receiving the email and doing everything correct, I would have asked him/her WHY wasn't I qualified. Did you ask? If so, what was the reason they gave?

I didn't think so either Mousey. Anyone know who Grand Prive's rep here is ?

They of course do not have the guts to bring one rep here, Hooters. The bashinf of frustrated and upset players would simply be too much.
It is only Casino Rewards (bahh!), Grand Prive and Big Dollar & Co. who do not go public in order to try to convince players about what is right and wrong.
Fyi, you can view the complete list of Meister-forum repshere

They had some guy did sign up here a few (?) months back, posing as just a "regular guy". He started some thread saying something like "It's Nice We're All Getting Along" or something stupid like that. Some of the regulars, think it may have been Elscrabinda, said who are you? It raised some flags, and it turns out the guy was from Brand Box Media. Jetset or Spear or one of them could elaborate more maybe? Guy was basically a shill, not here to serve any other purpose than to monitor...and make us feel all warm and fuzzy (supposedly).
