Hi CAPsters,

We have been very busy here at CAP making it a better place for you and we need your input.

We just finished rearranging the forums to make them easier to navigate. We have categorized our Certified Programs by their software platform to make it easier for you to research, added a Webmaster Exchange for you to buy and sell whatever you desire, and much, much more! Hopefully we have succeeded in making things easier for you to find and are looking forward to your opinions.

We are also currently taking your opinions and suggestions regarding the accreditation of affiliate programs. CAP is YOUR message board, it is supposed to help you run your business day to day, and we want to model it after your suggestions. Thanks for all the great suggestions so far, and we will do our best to shape a new system from them.

CAP is under new management and we believe that you are instrumental in making CAP the best it can be. Dom, Bonusstreak and Gamtrak are there to take care of you as always.

Let's use this opportunity for you to shape the message board exactly the way you like it. We want to hear what you think and we will consult you about all the coming changes.

Another wordplay twist for us to decipher? It's 100% doubtful that all three of the partners involved in this fiasco are no longer receiving financial benefits from this company and any of its sister sites. More than likely they're just referring to how they ousted Lou. I've got a great marketing bleep for their cereal box though:

This letter was sent to affiliate members and talks about CAP, the messageboard, which was run by Lou exclusively. Not Affiliate Media, the structure of which is in my understanding now being negotiated.

Well may head is spinning now.

CAP (in my opinion) is the entire website to include the message board, "certifications", all the information on the site - to include advertising, and the people behind it. We are not talking about who managing a forum.

If Casinomeister members were to receive an email stating "Casinomeister - under new management." They'd say "WTF? Who has taken over meisterland?" Casinomeister consists of an entire website: Rogue section, PABs, Accredited Casinos, Webcasts, Newsletters, Awards, News, etc.,etc.,etc. I don't think they would be considering a "forum" to be Casinomeister.

The management is whoever is running the website.

So...who is it??

Warren and the affiliate media staff are working on changing the structure of affiliate media.

I am pretty much running the forum, as in nothing is done to the forum without my approval. If that changes, I am outta there. This is AT THIS TIME and a TEMPORARY situation until legal matters are dealt with. Or until I see something happening that I don't like.

Meanwhile the members at CAP, the messageboard, are given the opportunity to influence (to a great degree!) the restructuring of the way "the website" is run.

The letter was to convey that all input and ideas are welcome and needed.

Really, Dom - I am surprised you are even associating yourself with this entity. Especially when this newsletter is making a bogus statement - "new management". This is blatant deception.

From what I see, Warren is making a very honest attempt to change things around and create a more democratic environment. He is trying to shape things after affiliate opinions. IMO thats a good thing.

Of course there is no telling whether anyone cares enough to contribute, but I think there is a window of opportunity for the affiliate membership to shape the place the way they like.

so are you a paid messageboard manager?
Why should warren run the forum he got what he wanted he took the money so he need not do anything now
IMO if they cared to contribute you would know by the amount of post daily that you get I am sure it is 1/2 compared to what it was before the London fiasco an I bet at least 1/4 of the affilates have left if not more because of the way yall put a speel on things just like you did it took you 4 post Dom 4 to say that you was running the forum why couldnt you have done it in the very 1st post when the question was put to you are you afraid to have your name connected to them I would as they are a disgrace to the Industy IMO unless I was getting a paycheck

I know Bryan can tell when his posted decline but I bet that never happens hare because with Bryan Max Simmo an Spearmaster you get the Truth wether you want it or not they dont beat around the bush like you did Dom

No, I am not paid because I am not making any commitments. If you accept pay for something, you are bound to it. My door is and remains wide open. I don't make my living moderating someone else's forum, no thanks. I have been self employed all my life. The chances of my ever accepting any job are very small. It would have to be something that boggles my mind.

I am giving this a shot because it represents some 8 years of my contributions, because it is a valuable resource that can be searched the way Casinomeister can, and because for the first time in some time I see a way for it to become the type of affiliate oriented forum I would like it to be.

I am not beating around any bushes, I have said all along, in many posts here, that I am talking about CAP the message board, CAP the community, when I speak of CAP. Many times I have said that. I don't have anything to say about affiliate media because I don't know what will become of all that. All I know and care about is CAP - the message board and it's community.

The letter was only to CAP forum members and spoke only about the CAP forum. Not about the company that owns that forum among many others, only CAP and nothing else.

The people at CAP know I am running the forum, it is obvious. And it is nothing unusual, I have done it whenever Lou was absent for 8 years. Lou is absent, and I am at the helm. Nothing new there.

I haven't done anything wrong and I see no disgrace in what I am doing, I am trying to help my fellow forum members make a good thing of a bad situation.

I think we can all agree the situation is pointless as far as CAP and any parent or sister organizations go.

There's no way that Warren & the silent partner will give up their rights to profit from these entities. And obviously it doesn't make much sense for us to expect this.

But likewise, their wordplays and twists on phrases aren't fooling anyone, and their empire will crumble because they were too greedy. Very few affiliates or programs will continue to do business with them in the future, regardless of what they say (because they've been caught lying or twisting meanings numerous times now)

So I suppose it's best to just let them die off and move on with our own businesses.

I think most affiliates agree that CAP is a rouge site - a so called affiliate watch dog opens a poker room and does not pay affiliates. They used relationships and took advantage of affiliates. END OF STORY!!!!!!
