Breakaway Casino Session

I was offered a special exclusive promo via email last week from Breakaway Casino. It was a 70% bonus for any deposit (up to $210 free) during a special 6 hour session in which comp points would be doubled as well. After depositing $150 and receiving $105 free....I proceeded to lose it all in 5 minutes. So much for my special "session" It was as if someone at the casino pushed a magic button when my session started to lose all my bets. I think I lost 11 of 13 BJ bets, and equally horrid results at the video poker I played. Is it possible for casino operaters to change the software at their whim to offer such great bonuses? I've always liked Breakaway, but this was hard to stomach.....if cheat mode ever existed, I was the victim tonite...

BreakawayCasino runs RTG software. Not sure if outcome can be fixed by operators. Maybe RTG reps could answer this question that must be in the minds of most players. We players hate the fixing because it is so unfair, RTG probably wouldn't like it because in the long run their software reputation will suffer, only the operators will benefit, in the short run. Hope RTG can give an answer.

Rigged RTGs?

Maybe it is a system "enhancement" as I was at another RTG casino last night and had a similar experience. Great big fat bonus but lost all my money within two hours staking $1USD per hand. Usually the bankroll would have lasted for days.

Another thought on if its possible for operators to tweak the software when necessary.........I remember playing at a certain RTG about 6 months ago. I was doing very well, and had almost met my wagering requirements. So I contacted support via live chat to verify what the WR were. Before they would answer me, they wanted to know what my login name was. I found that quite odd, considering the fact that my question was not account specific. Well, I gave them my login name, and after they put me on hold to access my account....they told me how great I was doing on my bets, and gave me the WR again. So I logged back in to finish playing, and what do you know? I got absolutely murdered....coincidence?

Sounds like RTG rep could really help here to clarify the many fears in the player's mind: Can the RTG game odds be fixed by operators? Please answer, RTG. Thank you.

kudos to Breakaway

Well, I must say Breakaway Casino has redeemed themselves. I shot them an email explaining to them how I thought their software treated me unfairly. They gave me a $50 free chip, which I lost quickly.....but I was happy enough with the free $50. Well, I didn't ask for it, but they gave me ANOTHER free chip for $50....which I managed to build up to over $1000!!!
(unfortunately you can only cash out a max of 10x on a free chip though).
But I was elated with the $500. And to top things off, I made a cash in via Western Union in the cashier, and my money was ready to be picked up 14 hours later! That included the pending period. I must say that Breakaway has made itself the class of RTG's casinos (especially with Phoenician out of the way). I still don't completely trust the software, but thumbs up to Breakaway Casino for top notch customer service!!

moral of the story:
win -> happy player
no win -> unhappy player

*In general it is standard practice for a casino to ask your user login. This helps a) for them to identify if you are a gues or a real player
b) how to adress you (AND PRONOUNCE your names)
c) try and understand in the event that your non-account query IS account related even if you don't think so.

Did you have a bad run after... probably, was it the casino, possibly.

Everything is not always a conspiracy, and if it is, what differance does it make in the end? Did the Titanic sink or was it a sister ship? Was the bombing on 9/11 planned from inside, Did LHO shoot Kenney. IS the casino out to GET me? Of course it is! You are throwing money at them, and they tell you they have house advantage. You win some, you loose some.
I am with padanian's simple but powerfull observation. **
