Recently joined Playgrand who offer a welcome bonus on the first three deposits.Took the first of these which was 100% up to £300 which gave me a starting balance of £600.The bonus is structured so you play with cash funds first.Had a huge hit early on 300 Shields which took my balance up to £1512 at which point i was quite happy to forfeit the bonus and cash out.Almost immediately i received an email accusing me of bonus abuse and saying that i was banned from receiving any further bonuses at Playgrand or any of the other casinos under their White Hat Gaming label.I could have perhaps made sense of this if i had been taking bonuses at any of their other other brands but i have never played at or even joined any of these.
My account was fully verified as i always make a point of getting this done before making my initial deposit.Despite this they took a week to pay my withdrawal, claiming that they needed to make their 'necessary checks'.I was never told what these supposed checks were and after finally getting my money i received a further email confirming the bonus ban.
Just a heads up for anyone considering joining any of this group-there are 28 of them.Of course you may be OK providing that you don't win.

My guess is that when giving bonuses, it is given to enhance your game time. The fact that you went to cash out after a big hit would raise flags.

Well there's nowt more enhancing than getting a big hit and a cash out. I see it as you'd be mad to carry on gambling what you'd won and surely RG would dictate that too

If casinos are genuinely concerned over RG and player welfare then cashing out should be seen as absolutely the right thing to do.

Lest not forget, for every case of 1 person managing to cash out, 10 will fail.

The hit was early in his playing. If he had no intentions of using the bonus for outside of playing for a bit, he should not have taken it. Even if he played another 20 dollars or so after the win.

Oh I'd absolutely put a few more spins through after the win...but solely to try an avert a situation like this.

This is not the most friendly group. They will make you and feel like an asshole for winning. Personally, I hate them.

Haven't come across that before.

A couple of years ago I was in similar situation hitting a big win on Montezuma on my 1st Casumo deposit/bonus. They were quite happy for me to cash out & forfeit my bonus. I went on to be a regular player there.

They have a good rating at Ask Gamblers, and only 7 complaints that were non bonus related......resolved early.

Good thing is they will ALWAYS pay winnings (provided you not broken any rules along the way) - If a bonus ban comes, any pending withdrawal is always paid out.

There are techniques to at least postponing the ban, one which helped me survive their bonuses for so long twice (twice!) is I never got greedy and forfeit the bonus just to cash out, any big hits which came, I'd always "play fair" and clear the WR in full first, pretty confident this helped me to fly under the radar for a while longer ;)

I’ve been BB-Ed from each casino in this group as soon as my WD’s are greater than deposits.
But there is a nice long list of them to play at so don’t worry too much x

Well i would say that the majority of players in my situation would do exactly the same and that almost everyone would not turn down the offer of a parachute bonus. After all who is going to refuse the offer of free money if your initial deposit goes south? In the past i have forfeited bonuses at places like Casumo,Leo Vegas and Grosvenor and this has never been an issue because they know they will eventually get it back and this is probably what would have happened at Playgrand. Somehow i don't think that wagering an additional £20 would have made a scrap of difference to their decision.

The group seem very bonus friendly. getting offered a few 100% since withdrawing a cash balance from a first deposit bonus, at the first one I've ever tried from within the group. Did play a fair few spins after hitting a decent amount though, making the playthrough on the cash balance higher, and the win didn't come too early. Once hit, I had an minimum amount I'd withdraw (and actually stuck to it for once) if i didn't win more, which was 5x the deposit. (the win put me to about 10x the deposit).
I'd hazard a guess it's paranoia they have brought upon themselves, and now act in an suspiciously automated kind of fashion due to it.

That, or perhaps just blame fkng Jono...

I don't think it is a parachute bonus there is it ? Anyway , if it's in teh rules that he can forfeit the bonus and cashout and he does so then it's ridiculous to criticise him for it.. but also I guess a casino can bonus ban you if they feel like it so nothing to be done rly
Congrats on the cashout . Can't believe anyone thinks you did wrong by deciding to cashout and actually making money from a casino instead of losing it :what:

Perhaps non-sticky? In either case UK players can't be tied into wagering cash money.
