Official Bonanza 4th Anniversary Competition

Big Time Gaming is reviewed by Casinomeister - read our review and comment here in this forum thread.
I can't hit a thing on any slot, anywhere since my DHV win, worst it has ever been for me and I have been slaughtered by L & L so having a break for a while but good luck to all in the comp :)

Well I am scratching my head about my entry being valid or not? Regardless I enjoyed my session in Bonanza anyhoo :)
It's not :(

Official - Bonanza 4th Anniversary Competition

a few others aren't either. I wouldn't worry about it anyway, as BTG refuse to answer my query about amending the terms, you can guarantee there will be new members signing up on the last day with massive multipliers to win the CM 'exclusive' competition.

As I understand it, grey zone Casinos are either, Casinos that were once accredited but for whatever reason their standards dropped below CM expectations and were therefore relegated OR they are Casinos that do not appear to have any rogue issues but for whatever reason have never felt the necessity to become accredited.

DUNDER are a good example of the later, always paid me and in all the years I played there I never had a single issue. Really sorry they just left the UK market. They are grey zone because they have never put themselves forward for accreditation.

Why is BTG not responding to a very valid concern about this competition?

If it's a forum exclusive comp then why does it have no restrictions for joining? People will register to the forum for the sole reason of participating/winning in this comp.
of course they will, and with the high value prizes on offer it's almost guaranteed that will happen. It's happened in previous competitions, and is why that rule is now standard across the board.

Maybe we should have a different thread for the screenshots? I guess there will be quite a few for this comp.

Hard to keep track of everything with users posting qualifying and even not qualifying screenshots, asking important questions and the usual Bonanza chit chat.

I for one totally missed the post where you @colinsunderland asked about new members. Maybe BTG missed it as well :)

Not likely. He's asked at least twice, and so have I. BTG has responded to comments before, and after those questions. They're purposedly avoiding this question and I can't fathom why. Do they not care if someone swoops in to claim a prize and is then never seen again on this forum? Isn't the point of exclusive competitions to be just that - exclusive for the current CM members that actually partake in the forum outside of the promotion section.

BTG was also tagged in these questions making it nigh-impossible to miss.

But the Grey area is a grey area in this still is it not?
I'm enjoying spunking money in Bonanza in PP anyhow. £300 down this last week on minimal bet but its not as if I can spend money on nights out at the moment

Given that it is the weekend maybe they will respond tomorrow? Maybe the wisdom of @dunover will help them in formulating their rules for the comp?

I think the rule should also be in place to prevent fresh newbies to come in with their screenshots. This has been the usual for most comps on here, usually some admins set the rules too though so maybe they could step in an advise too?

Because it'll encourage more people to play Bonanza, be they members or not, in order to enter the competition.
Making BTG more money, than if it were just established CM members

It's basically a BTG competition, which they're using CM (exclusively) to advertise it.

That's where the 'exclusive' part comes from, lol

@colinsunderland This one is a tricky one as you can see with a lot of threads they have way more viewers than commentators. If someone has been a long term viewer and a long term player of Bonanza and then signs up because they want to submit a win, should we really make that call? What if someone signed up today and we made the call that they couldn't be in it, perhaps we need to have a time window of a few days on this; if we do introduce this ruling, and if we do we will, of course, place it into all future comps.

With this comp, in particular, the prize is very, very, large and I get the fact that you wouldn't want to have all and sundry jumping in, but it has to be inclusive also to players of Bonanza that may hear about this comp through other social channels.

I'll hand it over to the Forum at large, what does everyone think?

I'm sorry, but do you not understand what 'exclusive' means?

You know when you release games on LeoVegas (as an example) as an exclusive, do you also allow Videoslots, or L&L casinos to serve the game during that exclusive period? If not, why not? What if someone is a long term player of BTG games and don't want to play at LeoVegas, is it really fair not to allow them to play it for a month? What if they hear about the new game on social media and want a go?

If you launch an 'exclusive' Casinomeister competition then it should be exclusive. If you allow anyone to enter then it isn't exclusive.

If you wanted to run an inclusive comp then you could've and should've formed this thread differently, and announced it elsewhere too including your homepage (like the tesla comp some time ago).

If you're gonna host an exclusive comp for CM then I fail to see the argument about the comp needing to be inclusive .. do you even know what inclusive means? It's the opposite of exclusive and you can't have both.. What kind of comp would be exclusive and inclusive?

Also this is just my opinion but: Exclusive comps in this forum should be sort of a reward for forum members who partake in active discussion. If someone's not even registered, as they only read but don't actually bring anything to the forum, then why is it an issue if that would exclude them from this promotion? Most other promotions here in fact do have rules, and those rules are very lenient considering ... Usually it's enough to have had registered before promotion date and have minimum of five posts or so. Hardly a tall task for anyone who's not here just to partake in free promos.
