How can this be for real? Did anybody get the Blackjack Ballroom e-mail stating a free 500 for an hour and whatever winnings you win you get to keep? Looks way to good to be true? Anybody know anything about it?
3) Once this two fifths has been cashed in, you must wager it AGAIN by 30x, as well as make a deposit of at least $20.
Well, it makes those RTG free chips with 1x/2x max cashin look positively generous
Yes it's for first time new players only.Sounds like it might be worth a shot. Is it first time new players though? And has anyone actually been paid by this Online Casino? I don't see it on the "Good" list here.
Different groups have different Free Play rules. A summary of minimum wagering with the free play money is below:Be aware that some casinos have added an extra requirement for the one hours free play, to the effect that the free cash must be wagered ten times in order to transfer any winnings to your Real account. This is it:-
"You need to make a minimum purchase of $/Є/40, place a minimum of 100 bets and wager a minimum of 10 times the value of your casino credits, in order to transfer your winnings from your Free Play account to your Real Account. Youll need to comply with the minimum requirement, if you wish to secure your winnings."
Yesterday I played the $1000 free play at River Nile, did the 100 bets, (I always count the first 100) and was $200 in front after 124 bets, so clicked the STOP button. A message came up, saying that the 10x wagering had not been completed and if I wished to stop then any winnings would be void. I gave it a go, but had little hope and busted.
I see your point. Some of the offers are silly. For example, Spin Palace offers a $1000 starting balance, but you can only keep $100 in winnings. The problem is when playing very low house edge games without high rare payouts, there is roughly a 50% chance of doubling your starting balance before busting. With the current offers, where players are given as much as $1000 free play money, it would not be practical for a large portion of users having $1000 in bonus money winnings. Instead, they'd have to reduce the size of the free play starting balance. It might be a $50 starting balance, instead of $500- $1000.The main problem is the fact that you can only win $200, but they only say "...and keep your winnings". This is what has made it so bad, as it is possible to get a decent bonus round on one of the slots & find much of it is taken away. With the usual kind of offer, such an event would be 100% kept by the player, even though they would still have a deposit tied to the WR.

A better way might be to allow all winnings to be kept provided the player was prepared to match it 100% with their own money so the casino could see the player was prepared to risk as much as the casino on the offer.
It is certainly entertaining to play, but it is not as good as the big print in the promotional literature.
