BigDollar steals money from underage girls

big dollar

Grand prive own big dollar part it is not part of the grand prive group but back to the origional post about playing under age, I am certain that when you sign up as a real player, that you have to tick a box, that you are over 21 years of age, so I guess if you put your true birth date in there and click you are over 21 years of age and are not then you have broken their terms of use for the casino and they could hold money back. Also I may add that as soon as I signed up as a real player, I had a phone call from then within a couple of days to check that I am who I say I am, the same with 2 casinos that are in the Grand Prive Group. But I agree that even so if they lock an account then they should at least give the deposit back. Why not phone them as they have freecall phone numbers from most countries in the world.I phoned them a while ago to change my email adresses for my accounts with them and soon got that sorted out.

I just checked my big dollar account again. I had no trouble getting in, and my 75 was still sitting there. Looks like they have no arrangements for paying it back to me. I tried to enter the bank but got the "locked" message. Then, overcome with a sudden urge to gamble, I wagered one chip on roulette and lost. Balance now 74.

So despite my age I can still blow my stack whenever I want to, but if I try to make a withdrawal big dollar will protect me from my youthful stupidity and make sure I can't.
Just wait til you turn 21

I have had no problems with Big Dollar or Casinos in the Grand Prive Group.

I actually downloaded another casino last week and while it stated on their website to make certain you are of legal age to gamble in your county. I noticed when I made my real account up there was a section in there that said click if you are over 21 years of age. So it is not uncommon for casinos to have this 21 years of age and over to gamble. Casino was , Casino Spendido.

Irene, you have ALOT more patience than I have. This has got to be the most laughable excuse for customer service I've seen recently. Please let us know if you get your full deposit back, which I think you're entitled to. If you don't, I would definitely file a complaint with eCOGRA.

AAmen!

Thanks for all the replies. No change here, I am still locked out of the banking section so I can't withdraw, but I can still play all games so I have a chance of blowing my money in accordance with Big Dollar's underage gambling policy. In fact I've just tested it by blowing another chip on roulette, balance now down to 73.

I'm reluctant to spend any more time on this, ecogra etc would be more time gone and more stress. If the sum involved was more I'd think about it, but for 73 euros? As the casino have shown that they are completely lacking in the honesty / integrity department I don't want to waste my time by dealing with them any more, even in the context of a complaints procedure.

I'll take tombomb's advice, and wait until I'm 21 (October 2008). So if the youthful urge to wager one chip on roulette comes over me once a month until then I could end up with a balance of 52, but at least I'll have a cast-iron case for them to re-open the banking section for me.

I think it is enough to wager one chip per quarter or half year. Depending on their policy on inactive accounts. When you are 21 you can then withdraw the remainder, but I suggest leaving one Eurocent behind so the casino cannot close the account without following eCogra procedures for tracing and informing the player before closing the account themselves. You should then request repayment of the outstanding balance of One Eurocent by check:D

Nothing is cast-iron in the world of online gambling. If they wanted to continue to take advantage of you even after you turn 21, they could just claim that you were underage when you made the initial deposit, and use that as a further excuse to delay and/or deny your ability to withdraw.

Because of this, I have removed both groups from my computer as they are undependable and customer service is poor.

I agree that Grand Prive/Big Dollar service is a bit slow. Still, for me, they are more generous with the 100% E-Z bonuses than any other group so I'll gladly accept that trade-off. A couple of times I ran into glitches where their software gave me 200% bonus credit instead of 100%. I sent them an e-mail when this happened and both times they told me to keep the extra bonus.

I have to agree that 21 years old seems to be the age set by many online casino groups. I have actually download a few more lately myself and all the microgaming casinos have a box to put a tick in that states you are over 21 years of age, in the real account section. I guess if they have those age rules in casinos, than if you deposit and play, you are making a false declaration if you are under 21 years of age, which is effectively fraud.
I do not know why, they do not go by the legal age it is, in your country to gamble, however it is , the way it is.

I can't remember what the box at Big Dollar said when I registered. Usually with microgaming I just have to tick a box which confirms that I'm above the legal age to gamble in my country of residence. I know that for Roxy Palace, Casino Splendido and the Golden Riviera group you have to be over 21, but they are the exceptions, just about all other microgaming casinos I've played at have asked me to tick the "over legal age ..." box and been happy to accept my custom.

Irene, we have to be so careful to read the rules and faq`s on the casino web pages as if we do not we can get stung. Recently I made a withdrawal request and this casino said you can withdraw when you have one times your deposit and 2 times your bonus. I had $300.00 in my account and the amount of 1 times my deposit and 2 times my bonus was $200.00
I emailed them and said I would withdraw $150.00 and leave $150.00 in there to play with. Unfortunately I lost the $150.00 I had in there and they emailed me back about 5 days later and told me that my withdrawal was cancelled as I did not withdraw the minimum amount of 1 times my deposit and 2 times my bonus which = $200.00. They put the $150.00 back into my account. I tried to get it back up to $200.00, so I could withdraw it and had no luck.
Silly me for not reading all the rules properly.

Silly you for playing at **** ***** casinos who have been a real stickler for the rules to the point of breaking them and using their "FU Clause". The casino would have been better off accepting the withdrawal as you had essentially made the required $200, but chose to only take half and give the casino further action with the rest, something to be rewarded, not punished. NEVER do casinos a favour, it is a sign of weakness, and in this case they took full advantage. (**** ***** are the only casino group I know of that have the 2x bonus bit, others seem to use min of D+B, and are RTG)

This Casino is a Casino who use Micro gaming Software.
I emailed them when I knew that I had completed my playthrough and I said that I know the minimum is 1 x depost and 2 x bonus which = $200.00
I said to them as I have $300.00 in the account, what if I withdraw $150.00 and leave $150.00 in there to wager. I said if this is not OK then email me back and I will reverse the withdrawal and take out $200.00
I got no email back, so went ahead. About 5 days later I got an email to say that my withdrawal had been put back into my account as I did not take out the minimum allowed for my withdrawal. Then as much as I tried I could not get the balance back up to $200.00
The Casino is, Vegas 7 Casino.
Never mind, life goes on.

Just as I thought, Vegas 7 is part of the **** ***** group (**** ***** = Mini Vegas). They were slung down among the rogues for their activities last year, and are still "not recommended". The error you made was to assume the CS were competent, and would reply to your query - a mistake that is easy to make when you assume a casino is reputable.
Casinos prefer players to leave at least some money behind, which the casino might win back, however when they use this as an excuse to screw you they should not be offended when players habitually withdraw the lot at the end of a session of play, only to redeposit later - costing the casino more in fees.
Had you withdrawn the whole $300, and as soon as it was paid deposited back $150 (which you then lost), you would still have the $150. By saving the casino money, you have been forced to lose the entire amount before you were ready to.

Still locked out of the bank, still able to play roulette. Balance down to 72 now, as I just wagered another chip on roulette in flagrant violation of their underage gambling policy, my youthful recklessness getting the better of me yet again.

Only 19 more months to go before they have to find another excuse not to pay me :D

You've got them.

You have got them. This is a flagrant breach of eCogra policy. They are refusing to return deposits to an underage player, yet allowing them to wager their balance till it has gone. Further, if you DON'T wager while underage, they will deem the account dormant and confiscate part or all the funds under the dormant account rules.
If you have not asked eCogra to investigate, this should be done now, this has gone on well beyond eCogras idea of being patient to give the casino time to resolve the issue themselves.

They said they've Netellered your funds. Please check.

By the way, is anyone else using your computer?

I no longer have a neteller account, so I expect the funds will just bounce back to them. I use click2pay, or will be happy with a check.

No-one else uses my computer.
