Ah fraud was definitely the wrong route to go down it would have been misrepresentation also the time limit would be well over by now.

Out of interest did they take the payment in Euros or Dollars?

Because the casino sent me an email saying that they can't accept UK deposits so therefore they've basically admitted they shouldn't have taken the money but still won't refund it.. you get me?

I also did misrepresentation but they still said I was to blame. I'm only bringing this back up after the casino have admitted they can't accept UK deposits and players

You can give it a try to get something back via usoftgaming.com, it is the company that likely owns this casino and a couple of others where players can play roulette and watch some playing with each other. :D

P.S They're unlikely to help, but it's worth a shot

Yeah i get you and it is bad that you never got money back.

But as it was a year ago and bank refused then and everyone said that it was a shithole of a casino the money was gone.

So i know it was a lot of money but after a year knowing no way of getting it back i would be trying to forget it and move on. Can not be doing you a lot of good trying to keep chasing a lost cause.

Very true Paul

But when I casino accepts they can't accept UK deposits or players and said they didn't no I was a UK resident which is bullshit after I used UK verification to the casino this should mean I should be able somehow to get my deposit money back if there not to accept it even the payment processor who takes money on behalf of the casino haven't paid tax in 3 years

They probably all the same corrupt as each other

I mean if you really want to try you can raise a complaint with the FOS against Halifax.

They should always raise a chargeback that has a chance of success.

Visas own rules state any gambling transactions should have a licence to operate in the country they take deposits from.

Having a look at betswagger terms I can see no reference to prohibited countries so would seem like a case for misrepresentation.

Hi Tom the fos stuck in favour of the bank which I really didn't understand because betswagger are only licenced in there country therefore they allow UK players to joing simply for them to deposit numerous amounts and then ban accounts instantly even when they are forced to pay some winnings out but when you deposit your own money and the winnings you received also they just ban accounts and make excuses up like they did with me

There has to be a law somewhere that states that casino has broken rules by accepting UK players and deposits if they no they aren't supposed to and then ban accounts after they allow so many transactions because they amount to thousands like mine

Did you have winnings or did you lose the balance?
I had to fight for my winnings but once I gave them that back plus my own deposits that's when they banned my account and said they didn't accept UK players or deposits and they didn't no I was from the UK and if I contact them again I would regret it so they no they did wrong by accepting UK players

I'm sure there is a law but it would only apply to operating in the UK so they are unreachable basically

That's the problem no one in our country can make it get the deposits back because they don't even no who's behind betswagger I even tried to contact there payment processor who are called pulsion processing limited but they seem to have no appropriate contact details to reach them

That's not really true. Even if you knew the name and home address of all the people running Betswagger it wouldn't do you much good unless they were in a jurisdiction reachable by the laws of your country. The fact is that the only country that has any control over the goings-on in Curacao is the Netherlands and some of their politicians have been fighting for decades to get something done about the appalling state of the casino industry in Curacao with extremely limited results.

Even if there were laws in your country against casinos doing what Betswagger is doing who is going to enforce those laws on a company registered in another country? Unless the two governments agree on mutual cooperation regarding those specific circumstances -- and that is very difficult in itself to achieve -- you still need someone to show up at the bad guy's door and drag them off to jail. Who is going to do that? And while you are trying to answer that ask yourself if that is really a priority for your country and theirs to go through all the red tape and bureaucracy to get it done. I'll save you some time: it isn't, it never has been and it ain't gonna happen any time soon.

So no, there are no EFFECTIVE laws to pursue people who do this kind of thing. That's why people need to educate themselves __before__ they hand over their cash to pirates they'll never know, see or ever have a prayer of reaching if something goes wrong. Sorry but the responsibility is yours and yours alone. No matter how much people like us try to educate players it's all just hot air unless someone takes the time to read it, understand it, and conduct themselves accordingly. Meaning you, for example. :)

I could go on about the issues with licensing in Curacao but I suspect it would be another case of people suddenly finding something else to do with their Sunday afternoon.

Hi Tom it was with Halifax bank and visa... They said I was willing to make those deposits so the transactions aren't fraud
u should report it as not deliver not fraud, halifax dont know where u spend and most of this đź’© casinos charger form shops in Africa Azerbaijani Turkey etc
