Before you read this whole post, I am writing from the beginning of the situation so that I can explain everything, and that is why the post is lengthy.
So I deposited first time on an online sports betting site using a credit card. I have always used my debit card on bet365 and betway and this is where things started to go downhill.
I deposited $2,000 CAD to BetSafe using VISA credit card on April 17th, 2021 and it was available instantly, but a week later I decided I wanted to risk less money so I withdrew the funds. They asked me to verify, and I did but the withdrawal could not be processed as my credit card doesn't receive incoming money, but only sends outgoing money. Anyways live chat resolved this and opened up bank transfer for me.
Then after my second withdrawal attempt, they asked me to verify through a bank statement although they had told me before my account was verified. So, anyways I complied with the request and sent them a screenshot of my bank and cards showing. The live support said this was okay. It got rejected as the deposits made to betssafe were not showing on the pictures. I had no access to the latest bank statement as the deposit was made on april 17th and it was about april 27th I was withdrawing the money. So I asked the support if I could wait till the updated statement was available, and he said "we will try to resolve it before" that, but nothing happened.
So I waited till my updated statement was available and sent that as a pdf file. They had a problem with this as only my credit card number was showing but not my bank account number. So I asked the live support if they could open another verification slot so I can also give them my chequing account statement showing my bank account number. They agreed and opened 2 slots for documents to be sent. In my next attempt I sent the latest chequing account statement showing my payments to credit card account, and I sent them credit card statement showing a deposit of $2,000 made to Betsson and the transaction number on it.
As this was the latest statement I was hoping they would approve it, but they denied it yet again. I asked the live support for about the 15th time what the issue was and they told me bank account number has to be visible along with the card number. My credit card statement does not show my bank account number. My bank account statement only shows chequing account transactions, not a transaction I made to betsson using my credit card .
And I have no statement available that shows my bank account number, credit card number, and transaction all at the same time. They come in separate statements. One is a credit card statement and the other is a debit card bank statement. I have no other bank statements available, nor do I have any other documents I can provide that give the information they asked me for. I am literally sitting here staring at the bank statements looking at the transactions on the pdf files that were rejected by their document verification team. The credit card statement clearly shows deposit made to betsson and so did the screenshots I sent earlier.
The document they are asking me for does not exist, and at this point I am feeling extremely uncomfortable going to support again and begging back for my own money. I did not win a single dollar, on the contrary I lost a few hundred dollars and even more after they refused to let me withdraw my money. I only have $940 or so left to withdraw, and I don't blame them for me having lost the money that was put back in my account after failed verification. But I still got $940 sitting there and they keep rejecting my authentic real bank statements I downloaded straight from my bank account. And I gave them two of them , not just one., along with a picture of my card I used to deposit .
I hope someone out there can help me. Just for the record I have deposited and withdrawn around $12,000 in total deposits and withdrawals on betway and around $5,000 on bet365 and never experienced such a process of verification which is now asking me for a document that does not exist. I told support I don't have any bank document that shows credit card number, bank account number and transaction all at the same time in one document and they said it is something new they are hearing. I am even willing to give them screen share access and make a video of me logging into my bank account , if the two statements were not good enough. I don't know what to do anymore, and I do not want to go to live support again and hear the same response.
