I have now received my winnings. The full amount was paid yesterday. Once the complaints department got involved at Betmgm things got sorted out.
Still a terrible experience though, but I think it was lack of communication between departments that was the problem.

Worth mentioning to use multiple bank accounts as each one is covered to £85,000. Also an NS&I Bonds account is another good place to safely keep money, with £50k in there i think the return is about 3-4% on average.

EDIT: Average for £50k is around £1750, Since luck is on your side with the recent jackpot win who knows what prizes you'll get with bonds

But it just makes me even less inclined to use online casinos reading this.

I would stick £50k straight into premium bonds and forget about them - just take the monthly prizes

Max out a stocks and shares ISA today at 20k, then you can do the same again next month when the tax year resets

Do whatever you want with the remaining

Another one for the NS&I bonds! It's perfect really, separate protection for the 50k, okay average returns and the little gamble-y chance of a jackpot.

I maxed out my ISA for the first time this financial year and will be doing so again in april too!

Great advice if you want to lose your winnings and house. Id suggest doing 20 pence spins but you will likely lose your winnings by tomorrow dinner time too. #boycottBonanza
