Has anyone any experience of an “account review” with BetMGM.

Won £3500 week prior and they locked the account after withdrawal request for ID check.

Gave them passport and proof the card used was my name.

24 hours later they lifted the block and processed my withdrawal.

Fast forward a week and I won £10500 on a £3 spin. Biggest ever win gambling bar one a long time ago, absolutely buzzing. Carried on playing as I thought my luck was in (that’s why we do it right) put a withdrawal in for £3000 carried on spinning then I got kicked out the game I was playing.

Tried to log back in and I was locked out.

Got some more messages to verify this time ID and proof of address. Did that almost instantly and passed through the external verification system they use.

I went onto live chat expecting my account to be working automatically and it seems my account is in review. 24 hours later still in review… it was only triggered by my large balance and withdrawal request…can they do that and can they actually offer no timescale how long it takes?

Congratulations on your impressive win! It's common for large withdrawals to trigger additional verification due to regulatory requirements. Since you've submitted the necessary documents, it's advisable to wait a bit longer for the review process to conclude. If there's no update within a reasonable timeframe, consider reaching out to their customer support for a status check. Patience is key during such procedures.

Ah, the stilted, depressingly familiar, strangely mechanical tone.. something feels slightly "off". It couldn't be... Yep...

Why, just why for the love of God.. 😅

Having the same issue, been 5 days and still waiting, have 500 quid that was pending withdrawal before they asked for the docs and other things, account locked since then, no timeframe given, how long Is long enough to wait ?

Their post was 100% written by AI. For what purpose, who knows.
I've noticed a few members, usually purporting to be members, joined and immediately started giving relatively generic AI sounding replies that while having a helpful tone weren't really super useful.

Obviously if they are just getting "trusted" until making their scam post, its a bit of a waste of time and they'll get punting by dunover before they can say "Prompt". So, like you, I have no idea what the motivation could be.

purporting to be girls *

I'll go report the one I suspect although I think that one has some manual replies

  • profile picture is of a random clothing model. If you were posting a picture of a person as your pfp, it would be either yourself or a notable person (celebrity, meme etc)
  • Posted a stolen win screenshot, pretending that it was their own. It seems to actually originate over a year prior from a reddit user, u/Striking-Bath9846, in
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
  • Posted a win screenshot that was in spanish language. Couldn't find an exact image match but given their history and the fact they seem to be saying they are in canada, spanish would be an odd language for the slot to be in.
  • Posts appear to be a combination of manually written and obvious AI output, such as this from the champions league final discussion:
    • "While PSG's attacking flair and recent form make them slight favorites, Inter's experience and cohesive gameplay cannot be underestimated. This final promises to be a tactical battle, with both teams having the tools to clinch the title."
  • Here is a definitely authentic sounding post from a thread about Bovada
    • "With an impressive track record of always delivering what users request, this platform has earned my trust and loyalty. Whether it's specific betting markets, timely payouts, or personalized features, Bovada consistently goes above and beyond to cater to its users' needs."
  • And, who would have thunk it, the mythical em dash
    • "If you're consistently seeing bonuses take 500x or more to land, it might be worth switching to lower-volatility games or checking if the slot provider has adjusted the mechanics. You're not alone in feeling frustrated—slots should be fun, not draining. Maybe take a break?"
I'm not sure what goal is here, there are definitely some real replies and they have made a thread or two, but alot of their posts are unmistakeably synthetic.

I have had this problem today I showed proof of photo I'd and proof of address. The last 24vhrs they have been requesting paypal details which show name address and logo as requested. The only thing not showing was the my name on email address.... and I cannot find any other option which shows anything else apart from those details. I am dyslexic badly and have asperges. These tasks are pretty much impossible to complete..I informed of this and asked for support separate times. They then said I could send screenshot instead which I did . They are now saying it would work if I switch to desktop version....which showed exactly same thing. Stalling is putting it politely. I have even asked to delete paypal and would deposit with different method as to withdraw from there maybe . Tested it and could provide full ifld if needed. But no. Do I have a leg to stand on. Or should I cut my losses and give up. Whole situation has done me tbh..maybe not worth stress??thanks for your ear

I opened a PAB through this site, and my withdrawal was processed and my account unblocked. Many thanks to the site for this. A week of stress wondering if I was going to get the money I’d already spent in my head 🤣

They even gave me some free credit as a gesture of goodwill from the radio silence following their review which I have turned into £3250 and successfully withdrawn.

One thing this has taught me….online gambling is no good. You read their terms and conditions, me and the other half move money to each other all the time. We move funds from a business account into personal very often. All in a breach of their terms and conditions which could result in them not paying out if they don’t want to.

Luckily for me I wasn’t deepdived into like that.

Yours looks like a simple payment method proof, if you go onto the live chat they should help you unless your account has been blocked then they won’t.
