Someone has tried to log into your account on Casinomeister's Online Casino and Poker Forum with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes.

The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 117.172.152.147

It is needless to say a Chinese mobile network IP.....

I've had it before - Probably a Bot - Send Bryan the IP address or flag the post and he will block it.

What could they gain by having access to a casinomeister account? Let them at mine, I have already made foot-in-mouth posts in anger, not much they could do I haven't already done to myself

Yeah had the exact same thing a couple of months ago, I was bricking it at the thought that someone had access to this and other sites' passwords etc

There are plenty of ways yours and other people's info could be used or rather abused very easily by persons with ill intent. I won't go into detail but advertising is not one of the ones you should worry about

Just do what Nate said in such a case and report it to the mods. That, and keep your password strong, and maybe, if you are like me, and have countless communication per p.m., which could contain sensitive info, clear both your inbox and outbox every now and then, downloading all the messages as text or CSV file..

This way you will minimize the risk, if, god forbid, your account would get hijacked

P.S. The awful error on the title - extra 'l' in 'careful'. You lot should've rogered me for that.

I've spent the last 2 days getting everything transferred to a new laptop, the keys are backlit so less aggro at night, but they are very sensitive. I keep my finger on a tad too long and the letters double, keep doubling 'i' s and getting 3 'e' s were 2 should be etc.

I've got to recommend SSD, absolutely great! 256 GB so less fan noise, no whirring, lighter etc. So fast it's unreal, from shutdown I'm opening IE in 15 secs. 16GB RAM plus GeForce GTX 850M (4 GB DDR3 dedicated) graphics and i7 5550U processor plus full HD.....like a kid with a new toy.
Even got a fingerprint reader for security.

Was going to get an Alienware one, but the lack of DVD/CD ROM drive put me off and so I looked for same spec with a DVD drive elsewhere.

Slotting is so smooth and it's even increased my RTP!

I'll be banning most of China sometime today - along with a couple of other dodgy countries.

These are bots - not real people, but annoying just the same. Just like when people misspell words in the titles of threads, it's irksome but it's not too much to worry about.

There is ways to tweak the speed of button press, Like a mouse when you can adjust the speed,

Probably impossible to track down, they will be using multiple IPs, hiding behind proxies vpns etc. Even if you did track them down it's unlikely they would be in a jurisdiction you could easily go after.

Can I ask what's the purpose of such people to hack into the account, what are they trying to achieve by it? There is no money in it, isn't it?

Some people do it just for the sheer hell of being a PITA, they probably lie in bad the nights they have 'caused havoc' with cheesy grins and hands-a-wandering.

There is a reason why it happens, Yes there is bots crawly the web but it take the minuscule of info to then get the rest i s easy, If my system got hacked I be f*ked but that should not happen, 90% of the shit is advertising and if every one followed 32red shoes and cut affiliates of for blasting out rubbish than it be abit better, but we are a only a hand full of people that no about dogy emails and most of them is from info sold, but if all company's had no commission to affiliates than that be most of the trouble sorted out,
