I've yet to hit one, but I've never hit a major progressive in a land based either.
As I understand it, the trigger is proportionally better at a larger bet size...i.e. a $1 bet has 5x the chance of a 20 cent bet and a $10 bet has 500x times the chance.
I don't make $10 bets (or larger), but if I did, I would play for the largest jackpot possible. The way that Caribbean Stud pots become player positive at a certain point.
But for us low rollers, I just play the games I like best, and hope that perhaps I am lucky.
I have a fear that I will play a freebie that won't let me claim a jackpot, but I'll live with that until it happens. A low level jackpot would let me meet WR at least and achieve max cashout.
