I have been a player at Crystal Palace Casino for about a year now. Last week, I requested withdrawals totaling $4000. (I have made similar withdrawals in the past, with Crystal Palace paying out in about 8 or 9 days.) On Saturday, Oct. 14, Crystal Palace suspended my account mid-hand, (video poker), and I was unable to log into their site. I immediately phoned customer service and was informed that, because I reside in a state most affected by the legislation, (Louisiana), that I would no longer be allowed to play at Crystal Palace. When I asked what would happen to my money, I was told that the money which I was playing with (at the time around $1200) would not be returned to me, but that because my $4000 in withdrawals had been pending prior to Black Friday, they would continue to be processed as usual. I was understandably upset about the $1200, but glad to know that I would still be receiving the 4K. Monday came....no money. Tuesday...no money. I contacted customer support again, and was THEN informed that NONE of my withdrawal requests would be processed as "We have received information that to process withdrawals to a resident of your state would be an illegal act on our part." I asked to speak to a manager and was told that none were available, but that I could e-mail them. I sent 3 e-mails, none of which were answered. I phoned a couple of more times, and was finally given a time when I could call and speak with a manager. When I got a manager, Alex, he told me the same thing the customer service guy said. I argued that they would not be sending money directly to me, and that Firepay and Neteller, (the two methods I used to request withdrawals), were still legally processing deposits from online casinos, Firepay through Oct. 23, and Neteller indefinitely. Alex then became a bit irritable, stating that there was no further need for discussion as Crystal Palace would NOT be processing ANY of my withdrawals.
This seems to me to be an attitude on their part of "if we won't be legally able to get any more money out of you, our obligation to play fair is negated, and we'll just keep the $4000 we owe you."
I filed a complaint with the Montana Dispute Board, but from reading other posts here, I think that may be a wasted effort.
Has anyone here experienced anything similar, or have any suggestions? 4K may not seem like alot of money to some, but I had big plans for it!
Thanks,
Shannont
