All Play’n Go slots updating today?

Logged in to LeoVegas and saw that every Play’n Go slot were missing. Asked the support and they told me that the provider took all down today for an update and that they will be back online later today. I have checked two other casinos with Swedish license and they were online.

Will I be greeted with an ”updated” version to a lower rtp-version or what is this all about?

EDIT:
Confirmed. They just went online and Tome of Madness for example went from 96.5 version to 94.5. They removed the announced 96.5 from the slot launch page. Time to move on.

Good spot and yes can confirm, just loaded in a few PnG slots over at LeoVegas, all are now on the 94.xx maths model.

Popped over to Rizk and Unibet, still the 96.xx maths models of the same games there.

Remember folks, if you stop playing the gimped versions, they'll stop gimping them.

Pragmatic play was also at a lowered % for me. Not sure if that was done today, though.
Sad times indeed because I do like Leovegas a lot.

Horrible! In my juristriction they also have the gimped versions on Red Tiger. They removed Push Gaming and will not tell why. Probably because they can?t get a lower rtp version from that provider....

Cheeky bastards. Well thats another site to add to the avoid list. What angers me the most, If i didn't see this thread on the off chance i would have continued playing book of dead at leo vegas. Now they can fuck off

As i've said before , the greater majority of players will continue getting stiffed, and the few who frequent
this forum and others will know to take their custom elsewhere.
Displaying the RTP when opening a game should be made mandatory...yeah, dream on!
Yeah, i think thats the main issue.
The people that visit forums, and know about rtp etc are too few in numbers to make any difference.
Atleast thats what i believe.

One would think that ukgc, spelinspektionen and all other regulatory bodies would be interested in making regulations regarding things like this, because after all, its in the players best interest to know about it.
But like you said, dream on. :)

I am fine with casinos changing rtp:s, but they just have to be open with it. It was just luck that I logged in during the time the slots were under maintenance and felt they were up to something, or God knows when I should have spotted it. It is not very often I double check the RTP before starting a slot.

2% of all spins made in a month is not a small thing, and that big change would be nothing but fair to announce. At the same time I know that such thing would cost them a lot more with more people leaving, who otherwise wouldn’t care.

Play & Go definitely give the facility to notify players of the change in RTP with an in-game popup, as I've seen it on other sites. Not sure if it's a custom message chosen by the casino, but it simply said "The RTP of this game has changed" - leaving you to check what it now was. Which seems sufficient to me.

There was no message or notification for me when I launched the PnG games at LeoVegas, only change was in the help files. (Well, and rather tellingly, they've removed that sidebar that tells you what the RTP of the game you're playing is.....)

Isnt it abut time we had an casino/rtp table under accredited casinos, if sites like CM start pushing the message about casinos reducing RTPs maybe the casinos would be less likely to do it.

I think the writing was on the wall a while back as they’ve had this RTP free stuff for a while now. Remember going to check the RTP when I first came across it and was still 96% but clearly preparing to lower it and waiting until it became a little less obvious I guess.

Ahhh right so removing the RTP bar was a pre-emptive strike then?

Nothing in the casino world happens by accident..... Also quite scummy really, as it's a deliberate attempt to make the RTP reduction less noticeable when it happens. A lot of people might not check the help files, whereas they might well notice a number that's always on screen changing from 96 to 94.

I'm sure they won't have forgot to update the players who use the large affiliate site/forum that they own 51% of. I just mustn't be able to see the post they made.
Also apparently Pragmatic (dodgy)Play, Red Tiger and Push Gaming have been lowered too.

Nah they didn't, but in all fairness to the co-owner of that large affiliate site, he did make some comments about it that didn't favour their owners.... would link to it but it will only be removed so contact me via PM if you want a quick link to it....

I saw, wasn't overly critical though was it :D but being fair he probably can't say what he really thinks because of the business relationship, so no problem with that from me. LV are disgusting though doing that and not informing players. LV Bet put a pop up on screen when they did it.
