It needed to happen as it was the Wild West.
I agree it’s much too far, but massive changes take time to work.
also had a reply from the ukgc recently regarding the advertising of online casinos in certain ways.
That’s also been monitored and addressed in a big way.
So more changes will be coming.
Personally a system like gamstop should be the norm when you deposit now, prove your income, where it comes from etc before you ur allowed to play.
That would solve this very quickly.
Yes ok if your finance is complex, mine is a tad explain this and await a decision.
Sadly the Wild West of casinos has caused this so they can’t be now crying wolf.
As said also certain ways of promoting casinos is the next thing that will cause massive issues for some.
When you dance with the devil you wait for the music to stop ( and not talking about my mate on the listening top thread)
Dont agree its all the casinos fault, they are in business to make money and would not have been expected
to question deposit levels unless there were definate concerns,it all the do gooders and people who know
fuck all about the industry deceiding how we should be spending our money.
Fine for me to go out and buy a car , speedboat,go on a round the world cruise,no questions asked even if I cant afford it.
Can honestly say that in 20 years I must have played at 50 casinos with no problems at all but did
go over the top at one stage but it was my own doing,I was an adult and free to make my own mistakes
and I dont blame the casinos.
