Is it true that if you close your account they have to release all the funds within it to you at the time of closure?

If this is true, at least the op would get what's rightfully there's even if it meant being unable to play at ABC again.

What was the original deposit can I ask?? Or should I say the deposits in total before you decided you’d had enough and wanted to withdraw?

I just don’t understand all this nonsense if I’m honest.

I’m a relatively low earner but of course due to withdrawals and basically just running overall across all games at an average 95-97% then of course I probably deposit way more than my salary would suggest is possible.

I mean it’s possible to deposit numerous thousands of pounds if your only spare income is just a couple of grand a year!!

However, what business is that of the casino?

I think many of them hide behind UKGC and simply don’t like to payout.

If any of the casinos I play at which is mainly UK based shall we say ‘betting firms’ like Sky,Hills, Coral etc etc or at least sites owned by these asked me to prove if I could afford the deposits then I simply wouldn’t be able to. I’ve never been asked to provide these with anything as verification is done by what I presume is some kind of ID credit check? Making sure the card is mine etc etc maybe a reference of address or electoral roll info ???

If any casino started asking me for other personal information then they would be told to bugger off.

I’ve often thought of joining a few other reputable ones to try and further my playtime via a first deposit bonus, but stories like this just make me think ‘why bother?’

Just this thread alone has pretty much put me off joining any L&L site. Which is a shame as they have a decent reputation. But making you dance through hoops to get a withdrawal is not something I want to entertain.

just over 2k I think initially...

Which I have to say I was surprised it let me keep depositing in 300/400 amounts time and time again as I was new to the site but it did !!

so I hit the 4.5k took out 4k and now have 800 on account that I can’t withdraw at all and they cannot offer me a way to play with the £300 and keep the £500 safe...

They are now saying they need a tax return which I don’t have and to be honest cannot be arsed to phone the accountant and pay for a copy to be sent as it’s unnecessary...

Currently they have had

passport photos ( numerous as first were not accepted )
Utility bills
Copy of personal account showing payments in from business account and numerous PayPal payments in and out to casinos
copy of business account statement that I didn’t really want to give with thousands in there and showing where it came from.
PayPal details showing linked to my personal account.
card details showing card that’s linked is same as bank account.
copy of company house register that I am director of the business named on the business account...

And apparently that’s not enough

it’s an absolute joke!!

oh and now personal bank statement is not permitted as it’s screenshot and now they have decided they need it as a PDF even tho screen shots of PayPal and utility bills etc are allowable.....

They are truly crowning themselves in glory here !!!

I don’t care about SOW if they don’t want me to play that’s fine but I cannot see why they will not release the funds I have supplied more than enough to show the transactions are legitimate, if they don’t think I can fund future play then fine but that doesn’t warrant holding this payment up

Sounds like this is partly an issue of Paypal's making. My Paypal account has always been used for buying stuff and paying online etc. However, years back eBay and Paypal changed policies so that if you wanted to sell on eBay, you had to change your Paypal account to a Business account. Even when you're not a business.

I now have two Paypal accounts, but only the original gets any use. I do need to swap over to the "new" personal one, even though all of the funds in and out would be going to and from the same bank accounts as the "business" one.

All because I occasionally use eBay to sell an old DVD or something!

and I have a business PayPal as well as a personal one, in fact as I explained to them I tend to pay myself from PayPal to PayPal to save on banking fees, and again transactions have been given..

I have been fully accredited at many casinos without the issues I have been having here..

If you think L&L are bad, don't play at Casumo, they will probably ask for bank statements and ID from all your customers who have paid you in the past 5 years.

Aye, it was several years ago, but ultimately the only way I could continue to sell anything on eBay was to switch my Paypal to a business account. It's marked as "private seller", but that was the requirement. Causes issues occasionally - L&L have removed that Paypal as an option from some of my accounts on their sites (though not all). Not a HUGE issue. I'm not a business, and never have been!

I've used it before when a casino ( I don't remember which), wouldn't accept a scan of a paper bill.
I just scanned the bill again, cropped it to exactly A4 size. I then converted that image to pdf. It was accepted without question

Here’s an idea if the U.K. casinos are so much hassle you can always play on the non licence sites then when cash out time comes around u really will have something to fucking moan about.
