Hi...

i played at a lot of netent casinos and in most you can stop the spins whenever you like, but there are a few where you cant stop the spin (sportingbet, boyle..)... i just like to know for what reason this is.... sorry for bad english

P.S.: i know that it propably didnt influence the outcome i just find it very annoying to wait till the graphics are finished

I was also wondering the same thing the other day there.

I dont have a clue. Maybe the Operator's choice? The stop button obviasly eats people funds quicker

This is a feature that an operator can ask Netent to implement, although I am not sure why any site would want this implemented. Are you sure your looking at the same game as some of the older slots did not have the ability to stop the spins.

sure... if i play jackhammer or piggys riches for example at redbet i could stop the wheels spinning... playing the same game on sporting and theres no way to stop the wheels from spinning ( and they spin a long time )

OK, yes, like I said it is something that the operator can request, I am just not sure what the reason for the request would be. It would be interesting to know if there is a rep from any of the mention sites on the forum.

Thanks,

Ben

I can think of a great reason they would; you drain your bankroll faster :D

I have no clue on the answer as to why, and I have recently moved from one company who does to another who seemingly doesn't have this feature!

What I will say on behalf of Boyles is that we are new to NetEnt. I'm sure there are a few things we have to iron out, the first of them being the bonuses but that is in hand and a few other technical bits we have spoken about in the last week. I will speak to the Casino Manager in the office tomorrow and give any feedback she give me. I will also be meeting some of the NetEnt team at the conferences in London this week. But I think Ben has hit the nail on the head, we simply haven't asked for the feature but I will let you know for sure as soon as I do!

If I understood Ben correctly, then the operator must actually ask NetEnt to disable the "stop the spin" feature as this is default setting.

My best (and wild) guess is that it is related to regulation. It may be that one regulator is requiring that there is a certain amount of time between each spin or game round.

That would be a good explanation if its correct

This is because Sportingbet license falls under the Alderney Gambling Commission which have a 3 second rule on the spin.
