49'er Casino not paying but still taking deposits???

recruit

Dormant account
I got an email yesterday from 49'er casino, saying they were giving me a generous $100 bonus "for my loyalty." Almost as a "PS" they included the following: "As you may be aware, Click2Pay, Neteller and Moneybookers are no longer withdrawal options at our casino - therefore, we are unable to pay US players for now, however we are working on finding alternative withdrawal options...." WHAT???? They are still taking DEPOSITS but not paying winnings? THIS CASINO NEEDS TO BE ROUGUED FOR THIS ! This is definitely not playing with a full deck....I responded to them asking why they didn't post a disclaimer on their website or cashier page and let the PLAYER make the call as to whether they wanted to deposit their hard earned money, knowing that even if they win, there is no way for them to collect! (Of course that suggestion went over like a lead balloon)

Is it just me, or does anyone else find this grossly irrisponsible on the part of 49'er????

i almost made a deposit there last night. then I looked at their withdrawal options and it appears that they don't have a withdrawal option currently for US customers (unless moneybookers is still available to US...but I don't think it is)

they do allow a bank wire for a minimum of $1000 ($100 fee )

the good news is that they do still allow US players to deposit using VISA/MC!

are these guys looney tunes or what?

Apparently, this is now considered an acceptable practice for accredited casinos. It has been more than a month since NETeller left the USA market. More than enough time for 49er Casino to solve their withdrawal issues, stop accepting deposits, or leave the USA market with NETeller.

Peak Ent., I have had accounts at three of your casinos, and one of your poker rooms. I always enjoyed gaming in your rooms, and I always felt like I got a fair gamble. I will remember your actions on this, if you ever decide to re-enter the USA market in the future.

Non USA players, you need to examine the way these groups are now treating USA customers. One way to analyse how reputable a business is, is how they treat their former customers that they are no longer doing business with.

Bank wire for a minimum of $1000 ($100 fee) - bend over, and I'll insert your $100 fee!

THIS IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS - PEAK ENTERTAINMENT

Wow this is news to me considering I was just emailing one of their reps. I told them I could deposit using C2P and he didnt mention anything about not being able to withdraw. What a dissappointment since I considered 49'er to be a reputable casino. Guess I will hold off for now.

The casino representative for 49erCasino last logged on - 23rd January 2007. I guess they were not too worried about the issues in the other thread on their casino. When they do log on, with enough similar statements. Hopefully 49erCasino will take notice. (lets hope)

Ok I emailed my rep with 49 er and this is what he said.

(49er)We do not have any issues processing funds requested to be withdrawn via click2pay however, it would
be best to check with them to confirm you will be paid once we sent your funds over to them.

This was the case with NETeller, we had a number of payouts that were returned to us because they refused
to post them to players accounts.

Just got some information from click2pay regarding withdrawals. See below for details:
(c2P) Users who wish to withdraw are asked to send an email to withdrawal.click2pay@click2pay.com
mentioning the amount and the respective bank account they would like to receive the money in.

At this time we are only accepting withdrawal amounts which are equal or above $ 1500.

I still stand behind 49er and believe they are working to get this fixed. $1500 seems a bit steep by C2P if you ask me. Does C2P not allow you to hold the fund in your C2P account? I was thinking I could just withdraw my funds from 49er to C2P and then deposit them at a place that I have a debit card and withdraw them there. I am sitting tight until I get some clairification on this one.

good luck, as most casinos terms and conditions state that once you deposite throughan e-wallet your withdrawel must be to the same e-walllet!!

How can you "stand behind" a casino that (let's cut to the chase) is accepting deposits, knowing full well that they have no intention on paying US players if they win??? And furthermore, the C2P option is ONLY available if 1.) You had an existing c2P account prior to the big shakeout, and 2.) If it's over $1500 - yet they continue to take deposits in good faith?? I'm sorry, this is sneaky, shady and ROUGE-ISH BEHAVIOR!! If this is something that they are "working on" or "trying to come up with alternatives to" then fine - SAY SO, in big letters on the cashier page before deposits are made. Let the player decide if they REALLY want to gamble with their money! (no pun intended)

I mean come on, 49'er is acting like the Neteller and C2P issue just happened a few days ago - as another member pointed out, they have had ample time to adjust to this news and notify players accordingly. An email should have gone out to all their US players informing them that they are depositing "at their own risk" as there was no way to pay out winnings...unless of course they had an existing C2P account and the withdrawal was over $1500.

As for the wire transfer, I asked them about this and was told that the ONLY w/d option for US players is the scenario mentioned above with C2P. I'm sorry, this just smells...............Casinomeister, your take on this??

This is just plain sad.. 49'er was my favorite RTG casino, but seriously... accepting deposits knowing full well that you've yet to set up a viable withrdrawl method for American customers... Yeah, that outta be good for buisness! Oh well, yet another one to scratch of the list.

I know for a fact that I can deposit using one method and withdraw using another. I've done this many times at 49er. I will let you know how it goes for me. When I say I stand behind them I mean that I have no doubts about my money being safe with 49er. I've played with their group of casinos for a long time and I seriously doubt they are trying to steal my money. I am more worried about C2P stealing my money than the casino. I am making a depsoit tonight and if I get lucky enough to get a withdrawal I will let you know what happens. I just think you are jumping to conclusions a little quick.

PROOF THAT THEY ARE AWARE THEY ALLOW PLAYERS TO DEPOSIT BUT NOT WITHDRAWAL. I WOULD ASK FOR A REFUND OF ANY DEPOSITS I MADE AFTER THEY STARTING DENYING WITHDRAWALS AND KEPT ALLOWING DEPOSITS, REGARDLESS IF YOU WON OR NOT, BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY YOU WOULD HAVE NEVER DEPOSITED THERE IF YOU KNEW YOU COULDNT WITHDRAWAL AND ANY DEPOSIT YOU LOST COULD HAVE BEEN USED ELSEWHERE AND ALSO BECAUSE THEY FALSELY/DECEPTIVELY/SCAMMINGLY, TOOK YOUR MONEY.

Looks like everyone at 49'er is clearly not on the same page. I still have not made a deposit and I probably will not until this is sorted out. It has become a real bitch trying to get withdrawals everywhere now.

49ersCasino Banking Issues

To all 49ers Players posting messages on this page, I do apologize for the extreme delay in responding, it has never been a habit of mine to check on Casino Miester forums until I was recently alerted by a player of this thread.

I would have appreciated a direct contact from either one of you guys regarding your concerns with the past status of our banking methods. I once again apologize and hope you read the following information with good faith.

It is true that when neteller pulled out of the US market all our other depositing providers followed, this all happened without any warnings and left us in the limbo. We pride ourselves in providing top notch depositing methods and we were not ready to sign any contracts with a "fly by night" company thus trusting your funds with a company that we know nothing about.
At the same time we didn't want to start taking transactions through a Merchant that we wouldn't know if the method will be available 2 weeks or 2 months down the road.

Therefore the decision was made by Management and Accounts department, to restrict all depositing methods of out the US market and only allow Click2Pay as our secure method of banking until we locate another Merchant that we feel full comfortable and confident in trusting YOUR funds with.

In regards to withdrawals, funds are available via Check and we have been processing checks to our US players for over a months now. I personally sent out emails to our US players letting you know that if you have a balance and wish to receive a check simply let me know, this still stands.

If you have a current balance and wish to receive a check (regardless the amount) please send me an email to me PRIVATE email address at abi@49erscasino.com

49ersCasino will always take pride in providing our players with the personal customer satisfaction that you have become use to and I once again apologize for not looking at Casino Miester as much as I should have and I continue to urge everyone to please email, call or contact us via Live Chat
directly to get all issues and questions resolved in a MUCH more timely manner.

Thanks for your attention.

Abi
Casino Manager
