32Red Disconnections - anyone else?

32Red is a well-established online casino reviewed by Casinomeister
happens to me everytime i play at 32. Now when i notice that the reels are continually spinning i'll close the game before i get disconnected and load it right back up. That usually stops it from happening again. *well atleast for a while.

Happens with RTG too. They are switching servers on you. The spinning reels for 30-60 seconds right?

same here

 happened for 2 days now. both my spouse and i are up and then the disconnects start and gaddam go broke with no more features or good hits.

i am glad to know that its just not me and my spouse that is getting kicked, but it is a real pisser when you have $300 to $400 and go straight to zero when this happens.

You have no clue what you're on about.

I got disconnected yesterday and hit 4 deuces about 10 secs after.....so you're theory is down the gurgler right there.

This issue has had ZERO effect on my play results beyond the norm. Anyone who thinks it is some kind of deliberate ploy by the casino to cheat you somehow is seriously deluded.

32Red has proven their integrity time and time again and they do NOT deserve to be dragged through the mud by the ignorant. They deserve, and have earned, much more respect than that.

Well it's happened when I'm losing too, and when I log back in I'm STILL losing, so definitely don't think they're switching servers! ;)

I've been disconnected while winning or losing, it's just that it's more frustrating when I'm playing a game that I think is on the verge of showering me with riches.

Well now I know it's not just me - maybe just so much traffic that the servers just overload for a second.

Yep happeneing to me too Chayton. I also figured it was too much traffic on the servers. I think 32red has become more popular given other sites proving not so honest. I do hope they figure out how to fix it though. I agree with everyone else that it is a total pain

I experience that regulary with 32 and also the reels starting to spin at at different pace to each other mostly when my bets are eratic as I quite often get..lol.. It's a conspiracy...lmao...Go the patrons!!!

Yes I agree, it is most inconvenient. I actually thought it may have been my ISP until I saw this thread.

I'm certain there is nothing sinister involved, and I'm also certain 32Red will get onto it ASAP.

I would agree that there's nothing sinister going on...

I think it could be something to do with the server load - but then again, maybe the rep will clarify it. I recall notifying Pat Harrison about it a few months ago.

@Chayton - I know the feeling. I sometimes progressively increase my bet and when it happens, I'm fuming!

Nate

I have this problem with 32Red disconnection since early June 2011.
I wrote Pat Harrison about it, he was going to contact MGS, but never got an answer.
The disconnection happens to me several times a day:(

Hi All

Hi,

I am sorry to hear that you are getting these issues, I will do my best to investigate this for all concerned, it is always difficult to pinpoint exact issues as there are so many possibilities as to what the cause may be.

Thank you to the individuals who have provided further information, should anyone else have any screenshots of this occuring, I would be grateful if you could e-mail them to me directly at [email protected].

Regards

Steve

Thanks for your reply Steve,

We all know 32red services and support are top notch and know that will solve the issue after investigation. It's just a bit annoying when playing to interrupt.

When it happens to me the next time i will send the screenshot of the error message.

I don't have any screenshots but I only ever play one game at a time- I'd get a bit of a lag on one spin, the next spin would just show spinning reels, then a little error message, "We have a casino error" would pop up and I was disconnected. Most of the time you just click on connect and you're connected again - only once I had to close and restart the casino.

I've also been having trouble viewing the comps page, I don't know if that's connected to the casino issue or not though?

I managed to get a screenshot of it yesterday (if it helps)....

Same here in Flash.

I do get it at other MG's too but again on the Flash platform (gameassists) 'cos thats all I use.

Flash for me seems to be 80% worse, mostly on AWP's though.

It's usually when I hit a feature and some games are worse than others, for instance Pandamonium, Win Spinner and GeeGee's will give me the casino error every time I get a feature and on the others its every now and then.

I don't really get it on the normal slots etc.

I had this quite a bit when using tabs and 5 games running to boost my score in the Slotsmeister. I would find all but one or two of the games got disconnected over a relatively short period of time. When running only one game, this is much less of a problem. This makes it look like an internet traffic problem. There is a known weakness in the internet in Gibraltar now that it hosts a casino server farm for casinos licensed there. It is a small dependency, and the population there is not enough to have required the kind of internet capacity now needed for casino servers. I am sure the connectivity is being upgraded to support this new set of demands placed upon it.
In addition to this, there also seems to be a problem with how the MGS server-client setup handles internet instability, and this seems to lead to arbitrary random disconnects even when the actual connection has not been severed, but merely slowed down a little.

"casino error 2" seems to relate to the disconnection of an individual game, and is clearly NOT a case of a true severing of the connection to the casino server as other games work fine. "casino error 0" seems to be a full disconnect, and the client is logged out. Oddly enough, both errors seem to have sudden onset, with reels spinning normally with little or no lag, and then suddenly the server stops responding altogether to a bet, and the reels keep spinning. After a while, the client generates the error message. It is then easy to reconnect to the game, which works as though nothing is wrong. CS on these occasions can see nothing wrong with the server end.

It seems that the MGS client doesn't take any recovery action when a game result doesn't arrive, such as sending a "can you resend that" to the server. It seems to just wait, and then give the error message. Often the server HAS resolved the bet (seen when next logged in), but the client didn't receive it.

MGS need to make the client more robust, so that more is done to recover the connection before declaring "casino error xxxx" to the player. It should be possible to do this in Viper, even though not practical in a browser based Flash casino with little in the way of client based autonomy when the server doesn't respond when expected. I have also found lag to be far worse in Flash than Viper. Lag is also far worse in MPV than normal games.

I had an issue like that with Club World, I actually had to uninstall the casino, run CCleaner and delete all references to it in the registry, then reinstall and it worked fine. There was something corrupted in one of the files, I couldn't even get the cashier to load.

Maybe you could give that a try...? BTW I tried sending you a PM but it said you have too many stored messages. :o

Good Luck!

hi Thanks Chayton :)

Yes I will try that now, will try new flash player first. I went to livechat ;)
Also had cleanout now in my PM's hehe :P

Tried exactly what you did. Used CCleaner to get everything fixed and did the uninstall first. And then after cleaning up reinstalled casino.
But same error comes up now again this time after slots loaded 55% ???? ;(:mad::mad:

After uninstalling and running CCleaner I had to manually go into my registry and clean out any files that referenced ClubWorld - I don't remember now exactly which files were still there, but there were some left behind, and one of them was the corrupted one. I wish I still had the email that explained how to do it, but unfortunately that was from my old computer. Did you try sending a PM to the ClubWorld rep? Maybe he can walk you through it.

Download "Advanced System Care" and opt for "deep care". In addition to clearing out unwanted files, this has further steps, one of which is to scan the registry and remove invalid entries. This should be done once all obvious traces of the offending software have been removed, including anything left behind in it's folder after uninstalling. It will also (like CCleaner) clear out the internet browser caches. You could then try "Spybot search & destroy" to check for any malware (although this will sometimes identify casinos as malware). All three are free for personal use, although there are better paid-for "pro" versions that are supposed to do a more thorough job.

Anyone else still experiencing disconnections? i'm d/c'ing 5 times a night :(

get it once in a blue moon although did have deposit problem yesturday ,failed 3 times & gave up , did speak with someone , had to speak with bank about it , they said everything was fine , so must of been a tech problem . used to get dis connected every hour but thats cleared up.

If I leave for maybe 2 minutes and then go back to play I have to re-connect. It seems to disconnect automatically after a very short time of inactivitey. I used to be able to leave computer for a long time and go back and continue. Not anymore.

With my older computer I got disconnected very often. Got myself a little newer and better computer and the last two weeks I have maybe got disconnected three times, and I have played many hours. The games are running so fast I can't even use quickspin at some as I used todo. I also got a very fast and reliable internetconnection.
Some of the problems might be from the casinos but not all I think.

I had several problems with this other night. As result of this i went elsewhere and lost around £120 :(
Then to come back and loose £20 after crappy session and lots of errors and disconnects. Also slots spinning horrible.

Nice to play at GoWild tonight perfect play had a nice £20 free bonus sitting in my account. Something you never see at 32red
And just managed to playtrough withdrawal of £100 nice
