I agree- after a few months of being relatively quiet on the SPAM front lots in the past few weeks- mostly from aff's/marketing for new player bonuses at casino's I already have accounts at- multiple SPAM from aff's for 777dragon, allslots and gold club plus the usual badly written "you can be rich solve all your problems with one spin variety" from unknown casino's.

Sloto'cash Rival Casino (now renamed) became accredited when they started their RTG brand and met Bryans standards for accreditation.

Most likely Gold VIP Club, prolific spammers, and it isn't affiliates either, it is the casino owners who have recruited spammers.

They also use variations on the name to fool recipients, so Redbet made a poor choice in the name "Club Gold", as it contains two of the three words in Gold VIP Club. The spam also tends to use two of the words in the name, and add a third.


It is therefore possible that some spam will be for Gold Club, but will actually download Gold VIP Club, not the Redbet Gold Club casino. The only way to be sure is to download the casino and see what you get.

I have seen a renewed spamming effort in my spam folder. I only see this when I check it for false positives before clearing it out, most of the spam never makes it as far as my inbox.

Since you had yours first in 1997, it is Gold VIP Club that has infringed your trademark to the extent that although different, the name is close enough to mislead potential customers into thinking the two casinos are the same. It was evidence that this confusion took place that 32Red used in order to win their case over their rights to have sole ownership of "32" for online casino names.

You can argue that the use of BOTH "Club" and "Gold" in a casino name creates a similar, if not greater, level of confusion, and win the sole right to use both words in a casino name.

Gold VIP Club probably chose their name to create confusion among customers trying to avoid the rogues, and their spam clearly intends to add to the confusion by using different variations on the name.

Unfortunately, by not donating much resource to it, it is Gold VIP Club that seems to have come along first, giving the impression that you chose the name after Gold VIP Club came along, and thus dropped yourselves right in it.

Gold VIP Club will be pleased that recipients of their spam might think they are joining a Redbet brand, rather than the notorious rogue operation of Gold VIP Club.

IGT is a US company according to the casino website, so no way would they allow US players to play their games.

NetEnt I would have expected to follow the other suppliers such as Playtech, Crypto, MGS, etc in banning operators from offering their games to US players.

The US is now served by the likes of RTG, Top Game, Bet Soft, etc. Even Rival pulled out of the US some while ago, and it seems are only reluctantly creeping back via obscure shell companies operating out of Curacao.
