I agree- after a few months of being relatively quiet on the SPAM front lots in the past few weeks- mostly from aff's/marketing for new player bonuses at casino's I already have accounts at- multiple SPAM from aff's for 777dragon, allslots and gold club plus the usual badly written "you can be rich solve all your problems with one spin variety" from unknown casino's.

I almost miss the viagra ads !

    Hi.
When you say Gold Club Casino do you mean Club Gold Casino?
Gold Club Casino is in our group and we won't tolerate Spammers. If you do have a Gold Club Spam email pass it to me and we'll close the affiliate down immediately.
    Thanks
    Andy

Are you Gold Club's rep aswell? Are they considered accredited together with Hey, Red and White?

Sloto'cash Rival Casino (now renamed) became accredited when they started their RTG brand and met Bryans standards for accreditation. :)

Most likely Gold VIP Club, prolific spammers, and it isn't affiliates either, it is the casino owners who have recruited spammers.

They also use variations on the name to fool recipients, so Redbet made a poor choice in the name "Club Gold", as it contains two of the three words in Gold VIP Club. The spam also tends to use two of the words in the name, and add a third.

It is therefore possible that some spam will be for Gold Club, but will actually download Gold VIP Club, not the Redbet Gold Club casino. The only way to be sure is to download the casino and see what you get.

I have seen a renewed spamming effort in my spam folder. I only see this when I check it for false positives before clearing it out, most of the spam never makes it as far as my inbox.

    Hi
    No, only Redbet is accredited.
Gold Club Casino (NOT Club Gold) is within the same group and I have some responsibility over it.
To be honest as the support is outsourced and we have yet to devote much resource to it I wouldn't put it forward for accreditation.
However if there are problems I can help.
    Cheers
    Andy

"Redbet made a poor choice in the name "Club Gold""?

Possibly, but we chose "Gold Club" not "Club Gold" (Confusing isn't it) and the casino went online in 1997 so I think we may have been first.

Gold VIP Club I assume came much later than that, and Club Gold is only a couple of years old.

Sue them! 32Red sued 32Vegas for having a similar name that created confusion among customers.

Since you had yours first in 1997, it is Gold VIP Club that has infringed your trademark to the extent that although different, the name is close enough to mislead potential customers into thinking the two casinos are the same. It was evidence that this confusion took place that 32Red used in order to win their case over their rights to have sole ownership of "32" for online casino names.

You can argue that the use of BOTH "Club" and "Gold" in a casino name creates a similar, if not greater, level of confusion, and win the sole right to use both words in a casino name.

Gold VIP Club probably chose their name to create confusion among customers trying to avoid the rogues, and their spam clearly intends to add to the confusion by using different variations on the name.

Unfortunately, by not donating much resource to it, it is Gold VIP Club that seems to have come along first, giving the impression that you chose the name after Gold VIP Club came along, and thus dropped yourselves right in it.

Gold VIP Club will be pleased that recipients of their spam might think they are joining a Redbet brand, rather than the notorious rogue operation of Gold VIP Club.

    It's a thought!
There are some absolute crackers out there using similar brand names to longer established casinos. In many cases using the same colours and similar logos too.

It's a bit lacking in imagination, and more than a bit cheeky but as they are usually in different countries and with different licensing bodies it gets very difficult.

    That's even odder.

Gold Club only has Boss Media, no Net Ent or IGT.
I wonder what they are actually promoting.
Can you send a copy to me or put a screenshot here?
    Thanks a lot!

    NetEnt and IGT.

Why are two respectable suppliers getting involved with what looks like a clip joint with a complete lack of ethics.

As well as the spam issue, they have the usual anonymized company structures used by many Curacao licensed casinos that make it impossible for players to know who they are dealing with, and how reliable they are likely to be.

I would assume the suppliers would prohibit them from accepting US players, but how would they police this given they are hiding behind a shell company and Curacao license?
