I was reading over at AGD now about a casino that does not want to pay a player the €960k which he won playing Reactoonz (from PlayN'Go). He was granted VIP status and they arranged an increase in bet limits on the game from €80 to €400 a spin. Then, he won and is now locked out, "pending an investigation"

According to the player, the casino offered him a settlement of 10% and a car.

As a player myself, I really feel for this guy. It is an obscene amount of money and I will be holding thumbs the casino does the right thing and pays him.

    Have a good evening!

The settlement offer obviously shows some form of admission. I can't imagine anyone'd settle for such a piffly offer....I'd only consider 80% or above!

Perhaps they just don't have the money

An affiliate posted it on AGD with a link to AG - did not want to post their links here unless you are ok with it?

Strange that a rep from a Nektan site would start a thread about investigations. When Nektan regularly suspend accounts for up to 28 day for 'EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) reviews'.
If you win too much, or too often

Yes, Bob got greedy and now has a huge problem. Maybe Bob thought like many players that you can't win on big bets.

I'm really interested how it plays out

If he has taken it to AG - then that is his business - not ours.

He played at BOB Casino, part of Direx N.V. who operate bitStarz, Playamo etc. with a Curacao license.

Didn't they use to have a rep here?

Will be difficult to get paid if the operator goes "stumm".

The settlement is good enough, if the car is a brand new Ferrari F60 America or a Aston Martin One-77 ! :)
On a more serious note, I am curious to see how this plays out. Direx N.V. has to pay or fill for bankruptcy.

For that sort of money wouldnt surprise me if they do file for bankruptcy then setup an identical Company, maybe changing the directors structure. Why did the OP use this casino for that? No way they will pay, not the best part of 1million euros.

I too wonder that, he had lots of other options ! However, it seems he did some homework and didn't found big problems with that casino.
It seems he started "slower" and he been already paid over €200k (profit?), so I guess that won his trust even stronger. Then, on €400 bets he hit it !
Weird is that after his first €100k won with bets of €80 hes gameplay been investigated with Play N Go and been found clean ! Then they increased his bet limit.

And now they claim to investigate his game play again, without giving him a deadline for when he will get the answer from Play N Go for this new investigation.
This is the strange part for me: what to investigate more once he been already investigated once for his gameplay on the very same game ?
And he had no bonuses. Nor used VPN when was offered (he smelled the trap) by his VIP manager on the phone to try games which he can't normally access.

funny thing is that the same operator is answering NO when "somebody else" is asking permission to use a VPN to play with them, to bypass country restrictions. ;)

According to the thread on AskGamblers site, BobCasino have confirmed PlaynGo have concluded their investigations & the players' account is "unlocked and winnings will be fully paid according limits".

You must register/login in order to see the link.

Hopefully this means they'll get everything they're owed quickly (and not subject to years of pain due to comparatively low monthly max withdrawal terms. (From their t's & c's it appears the max monthly limit is €40k per month (You must register/login in order to see the link.)... I'd like to think they'd make an exception)).

    Hey mate!

They are WL, we are WL. And also we have Malta casino N1 which hopefully will be added here soon.

Even more than this, as working in WL company (SoftSwiss, or Direx)obviously I was aware of this player and his win. And obviously I was waiting PNG reply too :)

Seems a happy ending to everyone but nothing really ends until the this player does not collect his full amount ! Something is not really OK at all with Bob's casino !
In the first place, why do a second investigation for his gameplay on the same game he been already investigated before being allowed to spin for 400 euros a spin ?
