I'll be back, don't worry. People will miss my moaning, emissions and expletives. And the cat.

Craig slots was the only one I followed and subscribed too because he kept it real to begin with and for some reason I really rooted for him to do well. In recent times he diverted from realistic bets to max betting then ended up concentrating on buy in bonuses at max bet on the one slot again and again. It seemed as if the higher his subs got the less he catered for his viewers.
No wonder they cracked down on those who appeared to gamble irresponsibly, even if they where vocal about responsible gambling.
I watched many Dunover videos and liked them but I do agree gambling should be banned from Youtube, problem is not everyone is banned so the rules are a joke. Ban them all or ban none.
2018 the scurge of the snowflake, "ban this ban that" "think of the children". How I wish we could go back to the 80s or 90s when snowflakes like Nut Nut were laughed away.I watched many Dunover videos and liked them but I do agree gambling should be banned from Youtube, problem is not everyone is banned so the rules are a joke. Ban them all or ban none.
It has nothing to do with being targeted either, it's just simply being caught in the system of clean up and many others will follow soon i'm sure. Next stop is banning them off Twitch as that is another site designed for kids so what the hell is gambling doing on it??
I find your assessment hard to reconcile. If these 'jealous losers' have grounds to flag content as inappropriate then that is how YouTube works. You and I will very likely have differing opinions on what we deem as inappropriate. That's fine. We can choose to flag content bases on our views and that is also fine. But flagging something as inappropriate simply means YouTube will review the content and make a judgement call based on their terms of service. It has nothing to do with "responsible gambling". If it was, a channel such as the one by a streamer called Roshtein would have been gone by now if it was Youtube's' policy.
As Dunover already indicated in an earlier post, we're talking about a group of jealous, sore losing ex gamblers that are blaming all but themselves for their woes. They are a nasty bunch, I personally have had personal violent threats from them, hence part of the reason I no longer stream or produce videos.

If this situation is really about people flagging content as inappropriate then in this scenario YouTube are consistently siding with the complaints. Why? Because they hate craigslots and co or maybe, just maybe, they feel it's not appropriate content for their platform.
Suppose I setup a group of 'sore and jealous kitten haters' and when around trying to remove cat videos by mass reporting as inappropriate. Do you think I could get channels shut down by simply doing mass reports? I think this is unlikely as the content is most likely just banal and harmless. But can you say the same about the nature of gambling content.....? I'm not so sure.
Exactly it only takes one disgruntled person these days to get social media owners quaking, look at Facebook taking down innocent pictures of family children claiming they are somehow against their rules because a person may have seen them or someone thinks a video is promoting a certain extreme group. Social media is very wary at the moment of backlash so it will only take one person to get them looking at someone's account. With respect, I know the type of individuals that are behind this. I know exactly what is happening and why they are doing it and the lengths they will go through in their "campaign".
Audio copyright infringements are auto detected by Youtube as you upload the video. Anything else relies on it being reported to Youtube. It has nothing to do with "responsible gambling" or gambling per se. They found a way to get these channels closed and they are very selective on what channels they are targeting. Why are non affiliate gambling channels not being closed? That is the crux of the matter. These people detest affiliates making money off the back of gamblers losing at casinos. It really is as simple as that.

About affiliate links for Youtube channel, the best way to get around it is to create a fake youtube account and post and pin a comment ( with your affiliate content) under your own video. See picture below (This way it works at the moment)

Yep. That's what happened to me, then the next strike will come in the coming few days and it'll be 'game over'. Once the first strike occurs, the end is nigh.I've just checked out Craigslots YT account and it appears that he has not removed his own vids. "This video has been removed for violating Youtubes community guidelines".

He was also on the hitlist I mentioned above, like myself and the Bandit etc. Interlog will confirm I'm sure, but there is an aggressive and often unpleasant campaign going on.
The first post on the below linked topic elsewhere contains some of that hit list:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
There was another topic about streamers / slot video producers before that over on that forum.
And yes, the campaign is very unpleasant.

I couldn't make it past the 1st paragraph as my blood was already boiling. People like that are the reason why governments are piling rules and laws one of top of the other. Some people were enjoying making videos, I was enjoying watching them and now I can no longer do it because some massive asshole didn't like the videos and isn't adult enough to take responsibility for what he does. Fuck him.
Were you forced to watch them on Youtube? If not what difference does it make to you if they are available elsewhere?[
They can still make the videos. You can still watch them. What they cannot do (seemingly) is use the YouTube platform to distribute their content.
Try to keep some perspective.
My point is a platform owner retains the right to determine what content can and will be hosted and distributed on their platform. For example casinomeister forbid the hosting of certain types of content on their website and that is perfectly acceptable. If you don't like it you can always go elsewhere right? Were you forced to watch them on Youtube? If not what difference does it make to you if they are available elsewhere?
Don't be an inverted snob, Youtube are trying to make people think like they do in the example I gave above they will put warnings on any video that denies climate change if that isn't political and saying you agree with how we think or don't post videos is an example of where we are heading, heading towards a left wing thinkign agenda where only certain views are acceptable. My point is a platform owner retains the right to determine what content can and will be hosted and distributed on their platform. Nobody is stopping anyone making videos. Just certain content creators are no longer welcome on certain platforms. No big deal. Go find another platform or build your own.
Youtube is losing the plot they are now going to put warnings under any video which denies the existent of climate change. So anyone who disagrees with climate change gets their video entry interfered with a warning.

Well you didn't miss much, except for two epic farts that most likely rendered the air "clothes peg clamping my nose bad".
On a side note, I noticed that CraigDaniel has removed all of his videos. Yet he has not been banned.
) and hence not uploaded in a while, my channel and all content is still readily available.

The problem you have Dunover is whichever site you move to they will find out and do the same, if you move to a quiet site no one will no you are there and you will get no viewers, I have been in this situation and Youtube is the only place you can get decent views to make posting worthwhile.Oh trust me they're going after Vimeo and Twitch too. Vimeo already flagging gambling content providers (as I found out) and it's a grey area on Twatch to say the least. This is why we need a dedicated gambling video server.

Not read the whole thread but caught the basics of whats going / gone on.
Has pretty much all gambling or slots content been hammered?
Reason I ask is although I can no longer be bothered with recording my play (who wants to watch 20p and 30p bet videos these days) and hence not uploaded in a while, my channel and all content is still readily available.
A few years back they removed even banal slot reviews on demo modes, that formed part of affiliate site content with no direct links. Ask Simmo and some others here!I think it's down to whether or not the channel is affiliated. The beef seems to be with folks who are effectively using YouTube as an advertising platform and making money off players who go on to lose, having seen the 'promotion' of gambling via the channel.
Please note I'm not saying I support what's going on, but that's my read of it.

Oh I understand that. I just find the decision to remove every single video from his channel to be a little strange. Especially as he uploaded an hour long video as recently as yesterday evening. As well as that, in one of his more recent vids, he started by responding to questions from his numerous subscribers regarding the relative lack of uploads he has done recently. The reason he gave was something along the lines of "he was trying to lie relatively low in order to avoid the attention of YT". He is clearly acutely aware of the recent ban on The Bandit and is presumeably trying to avoid the same fate. The guy has nearly 10,000 subscribers...and not one video.
If he is really THAT concerned about a YT ban, why would he upload a video one day, then remove it (and nearly another 200) the next day?
Seems a bit of an OTT pre-emptive precautionery strike of sorts. Surely he'd have been better off having a "business as usual" attitude and if he gets banned, then it's simply a case of que sera sera?
Haha of course not. YT might be pathetic, but they aren't that pathetic.
I have noticed that The Bandit has had no such issues since joining Vimeo.
But then again, I think he is on a "premium business" package, so they might not want to mess him about.
Perhaps their attitude adjusts according to how much you're prepared to pay them?
Craig stated on Twitch that he has set his Youtube to private, so the videos are hidden while the banning storm dies down so to speak. He said he'll try putting content again on YT in September.
Yes, 1200USD per year! The free version only allows 3 videos a month. To pay about £1k per year to upload mainly non-revenue earning review videos is unworkable, but thanks anyway. If I was trying to piss the streamers off I would just report all the videos to the ASA to pretty much force the casinos to close the affiliate accounts. That would do more harm to them than just reporting the channels. I don't think I've seen a single one that is compliant with the CAP guidelines.
@dunover could you not use something likeYou do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.or just host the videos on a domain/server yourself? Downside is obviously you would have to do SEO rather than just people searching youtube.

And then there's only 200MB bandwidth a month with the free version, so that would be about 200 views on one of my 90-minute moanfests, whereas on YT I had 2-10,000 per video. Even on the 1200USD version once I have gone over 10 videos in storage (I had over 800 on YT) I pay 25c per month for each one over. So to get the equivalent of YT I would be paying 99USD per month plus another 200 per month, so 3600USD per year!wow! Thats more than I thought!
