You thought the UKGC were bad?

Just came back from a few days Netherlands and traveled by car.
On the ferries (Irish Sea & English Channel) the slots have now a max £2.00 bet and a max win of £500.00.
Weird was that min bet was £0.50 and the only other stakes are £1.00 and £2.00.

So I find those quite high bets especially if the max prize is capped at £500.00.

Played a slot called Sherlock Holmes, was a pretty cool slot and managed to trigger FS on a £0.50 bet, got 25 FS and another retrigger for 10...Wilds remain sticky on the reels and expand before vanishing again.
Was quite good and won £130.00 on these FS, cashed right away as the RTP must be horrible on them slots on the ferries.

This brings back memories from when we used to take the ferry Calais-Dover quite alot back in the days :D I wasn't even 18 back then but they really didn't care who were playing those old fruities... Don't remember ever winning anything tho

Presumably this will also be the case for scratch cards which the uk government likes to advertise heavily on TV?

£5 a pop ones will be no more!!

And of course the various lotteries that are also pushed heavily where the stake per play has already doubled since release but yet the main prizes have decreased and the odds of winning them lengthened.

No more raising of that!!!

Cant see it being below £5 to be in line with land based.

Not been in a land based fir a while but don’t they still have the old enhanced £10-£50 mega spins?

Those are the norm for public slots in the UK.
(I guess in B&M casinos the levels are higher? I wouldn't know as I don't play slots in casinos!)
Usually on the £500 jackpot machines, the higher the stake, the higher the RTP, with £2 bets usually @ 92%.

I used to really love the old day-trips to France back in the day (I lived only 50 miles from Dover), but I rarely go on the ferries these days, as my misses gets sea-sick so we always use Eurotunnel :(
The only time I do go on them is when driving to Amsterdam for the affy conference ;)
Had a few good wins on those journeys... Paid for the WHOLE trip!

UK will be £2max stake by the end of the year. Put your £2 on it! It will be due to political pressure more than anything.
what is the point on max £2 a spin or bonus buy ban,When UKGC still let player gamble their winning and you can lose all you wining on 1 click? is lot of slots game out there you can gamble all you wining on 1 click ukgc should ban that 2..sure £2 bet will be good and stop lot of fake streams give up playing on fake coin.p.s UKGC aslo should not let 100s of casinos go online on same licence, now casino get 1 licence and rent their license to another 99 other casinos,is joke now casinos online are like corner shops

Would be better if the politics take a proper look in unregulated gambling by UK citizens and how a max bet of £2 will only stimulate that. If you as a country say we need to protect our citizens, this would be the last measure to put in place as it will create the opposite effect.

If you want to help the UKGC avoid such a decision, don't take any of the All Action games from Blueprint. I know that these have really annoyed them...

Also, put the all stakes over 5 pounds behind a SOW wall. Then show the UKGC what you have done and that this is the best RG ever (you can then put the All Action stuff behind this wall) and hopefully you'll avert what happened to the retail stakes.

It would make sense from a business point of view I suppose, deter people from using your product. Set max win to £500 and hi-5 each other as punters run a mile.

RG Gold Star

It's £500 because it's running as a category B3 machine
