Well I wish I had found this site prior to playing at Windows Casino (A RTG casino)

Their casino went offline later in the day 1/4/06, and didnt come back online till like 1/7/06.

When I logged off on 1/4 I had ~200 comp points, and $5250 in my account, when the casino came back online, guess what, Zero/Zero. I've emailed them numerous times, and called and all they can say is their 'technical support people are looking into it'

It's now the 9th, and guess what, i STILL dont have my $ or comps or anything, shocker shocker. During their downtime their online support said all accounts were intact and would not be altered, or any different in any way from the 4th. At the very beginning my account had been restored to sometime during 1/3/06, with 5000$ and 90ish comp points (note 300 comp points is almost $400).

Just a note to everyone, listen and steer well clear of the RTG casinos, they dont care about anything except fattening their wallets.

Yep, Windows is a casino you should avoid at all costs. Have you considered lodging a complaint at montana disputes. just go the pitch a bitch section. They may be able to help in retrieving your winnings.

Though I agree that most RTG casinos rip-off players, there are a couple of good ones out there. I have pleasant experiences with Inetbet and Crown Vegas and cashed out on a couple of occasions. I also understand that Bodog,Extreme,Sci-fi and Geisha Lounge are quite good too.

I do know on the RTG system it logs in anytime someone enters the account or credits or deletes funds. So it would be increadible easy to verify your funds. Just notify Montana and the have access to this. So if what you said is true than the funds can be verified easily. Please let us know what happens.

Supposedly - (Update)

Supposedly its supposed to be fixed as soon as their techs can figure it out. BUT it's been weeks now and every email I've sent them has been replied to with something to the effect of 'Were working on it' please be patient.

I mean a few bux i'd say who cares and forget about it, but not OVER $5000.

I'll be filing a complaint with Montana, and we'll see what they will do (prolly bout the same as Wincasino has)

You would think someone with 200 current, should have 300+ comp pts would be taken care of a lil better (That equates to $200,000+ played on their site)

Thanx - Bryan

Update - Post Montana Overseas Dispute - Still Stiffed

Welp I filed a dispute with montana overseas (quite a while ago) today, Feb 15th they got back with me stating that my account as of 1/2/06 had a $0 balance. And closed the dispute. I have since re-emailed them and provided proof (screenshot) of my account page as of 1/3/06 showing that I had $5000 in my account (at the time I took the SS) when the casino went down I had approx 5500$. I also had ~200 comp points, which means I wagered approx $150,000 on their site.

It looks like Montana Overseas is just as crooked as Windows Casino. BUT, we'll see what they have to say now that I can proove to them that I had the $ in the account.

Their casino went offline on 1/4/06 (my birthday) so I remember it quite well.

I filed the complaint on 2/2/06 after a month of runaround with Windows Casino Support.

Below is the msg they sent me:

An update has been made to dispute # 3489

Comment: Dear Bryan, We have confirmed that at the time the casino went down on 1/2/2006 both your withdrawable and bonus balances were at zero. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to submit them to us. Thank you, The Player Dispute Team

this does sound dodgy. But there have been multiple previous occurrences of people claiming to have money 'vanish', when they've just gambled it away and regretted it. So I wouldn't take everything at face value

I heard Windows changed ownership and a new wind will blow.

Looks like Portofino and Hampton also changed ownership and will be run to a different beat.

I am curious to see.

It will be interesting to see if Tony Friedman and Avi Goldman really do reverse out of Windows et al - between them they have such complex and dynamic business registrations in the industry that they are quite hard to track, which is possibly the intention.

Keep your eyes on a company that surfaced last year doing deals with Windows and these guys - Rising Star Gaming and its spokesman George Klein. I think there are interesting digging possibilities there too, and Hampton and Portofino were involved in the deals that went through back then.

It'll be in the Casinomeister News archives btw.

If this is true, this will be the ousting of one of longest-lasting rogue owners of all time a la Tony Friedman.

As nice as that would be, I believe these guys have so many interests (and have made so much money) that it is unlikely they will be leaving anytime soon - changing the furniture around every now and again, sure - but leaving? I doubt it.

I think Rising Star Gaming is in on the manouevring - that's my instinct whenever I read about these companies and their deals.

Greg Gomes, Wager Junction affiliate manager, has posted that his group will be the affiliate program the following 5 casinos:

Windows
Gold Key
Magic Oasis
Hamptons
Portofino

Good luck, Greg... that should keep you busy... :)

Is that the same Greg who represents Grand Aces, Geisha and KS on here? He has enough trouble dealing with complaints from these 'reputable' casinos let alone this bunch of jokers!

Actually reading through some of the old Geisha complaints threads it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that Greg is happy to associate himself with these casinos. I think they'll get on just great.

Oh and Greg, you said in one thread you weren't aware of the Pirate issue at Hampton. You'll be able to ask your new friends all about it now
