Slow Pay Won 55.000 EUR at the Casino "CASINO SECRET" and lost it due to delayed withdrawals and cancellation

All the player, you or anybode else has to do after a withdrawl request, is not touch it. Go for a walk. Get a fresh breath. Have some patience for 2 days to proces. Really, whats the deal?

Oh wait, a "problemgambler". Well the casino lives off problem gamblers. Your in someone's house and you live/play by their rules. Dont like it? Sign off.

Casino Secret lives off problemgamblers who gamble away its house and courtyard. Well, I more and more realize why gambling industry is not welcome in society.

Think about it,

Enabling the cancel withdrawl functionality, would mean that perhaps 5 out of 10 would cancel and continue to play with the risk of a loss. Technically this means a non-payout to the player (=profit) and a percentage over the wagered money on slots.

Win Win.

Unfortunately it is no typo....and yes you are right, under normal conditions nobody would do that but under Casio Secret Conditions it happens.... 5K max. Withdrawal, many days until weeks for processing withdrawals, no option for losing limits(only deposit limits) etc etc....

Gambling is a process, not an event. The large balance you reached was a part of this overall process, not the end result.

Sometimes a large win like this can cause more problems that it cures. Many folks who experience such highs go on to lose the most. This experience may be a blessing in disguise, and for a 600 sum it is a cheap one.

Very sorry to hear what happened mate. Can only imagine the pain....

Stay strong, and learn from this harsh experience. We all make poor decisions from time to time, and sometimes they really sting; you’re not alone there. Don’t be too hard on yourself....

Try and remember what’s truly important in life; your friends and family, and the things that you’re passionate about. I believe this will help you.

Yes, it will take some time to recover from this one, but you WILL get past it.

Warm wishes.

If you deposited and lost that kind of money in such a short space of time and in that manner, it would flag you up as a problem gambler and they would be asking questions about whether you were in control or not, and where the money was from, largely because of the fines they may incur. But because it was winnings, you were free to lose it back in any manner you wished, even though it would be quite clear you were chasing prior losing sessions and not in control. The very fact you couldn't withdraw any of the money in a timely fashion meant the balance of your mind would likely be altered and therefore your style of play. Gamblers, particularly those with a problem or those who have just had a large win are, at this critical point, very susceptible to losing control when under the pressure of not being able to have something that is rightfully theirs. This casino has preyed upon your weakness and lack of self-control in this instance. I am genuinely sorry for your situation but the money is gone, and even though you could argue that the casino has acted inappropriately, there would be nothing in any terms and conditions that would stop them from doing that. They've simply allowed you to be overcome by temptation and lack of self-control, under the guise of 'making sure their house is in order'. It's certainly a devious and insidious tactic in altering a player's mindset, I'll give you that, but you've just got to resist any subconscious urges in these circumstances.

As has been said, the only thing you can do is put it behind you as quickly as possible. I do believe though that when a player is restricted from withdrawing funds after a large win to allow for checks to be made, those funds should be locked from play also. It's only fair. Maybe, if anything good can come from this situation, one day this rule might be implemented by various respected online gambling sites, or even enforced by regulators.

All the best :)

@CasinoSecret-Marie please read all the comments carefully and maybe you will see my case as a opportunity to improve your services: offer losing limits, proper gaming checks, locking of funds during account checks etc. This website has the name of "advocate of fair play" and maybe you will take this slogan serious and at least prevent other players from such experiences.

Everybody in this forum have reversed withdrawals and lost it all, it happens. Get over it, stop being a crybaby.
I feel sorry for you, when i read your instructions to the casinosupport. You are still hoping they will pay you......forget it .

Why are many users offended by my thread?

I know that people have reversed withdrawals in the past. I also have reversed many times withdrawals in the past at other casinos. No problem. But this case has just another dimension regarding the amount and the number of withdrawals.

Is this forum for fair play or not?

When you reverse withdrawals, you get money to play with when you have fair chance to win like always when you play, nothing really unfair there. What's gone is gone, amounts etc... are not really relevant, for some 100€ can be big money when for some 10k€ pocket money.

Can't really find a point what fairness and where should appear here now.

But its over, its done, its in the past - what purpose is there in going over and over the same points ?

Yes, done and dusted. It’s virtually all been said.

I will add....

We all need to take ownership for our choices, as adults, and not auto default to blame whenever things go south. The former is the path forward to emotional maturity and wisdom; learning from our mistakes.

@Lacoste2020, I empathise with your situation, earnestly, but you need to take your power back mate, and stop hating on the casino. They’re not losing any sleep over this, believe me, and neither should you continue doing so.

They won’t reverse their decision to confiscate your winnings, sadly, and you need to come to terms with this fact for your own well being. Yes, it’s a large sum, but you will have money again. Be patient. We’ve all been there.

Give yourself a break, close this chapter, and walk away with what should be a valuable learning curve under your belt.

You deserve better.

In October 2018 I won £6500 on slots, and it certainly changed me from an infrequent player of low stakes, to an everyday player with much increased stakes. Over the next 9 months I lost £5000 of back. It taught me the lesson that I am vulnerable and now only play on casinos where I can set deposit limits etc and can cancel the option to reverse a withdrawal.

I am now back to my usual small stakes with loss limits in place of £50 per month, but with the knowledge and confirmation that it is possible to strike it lucky and win big.

Funny thing is I don't spend a penny on the lotteries.
