Hi guys(and ladies obv!), i am just think... Probably this questions was in past, or something, but why not made a trophey or something like this:"best user of month" "most active/helpful"? etc, etc, it can be any name, but why not do something and choose the best user of the month here, on CM? I just wondering, if this possible, and if it needed? I think it will be nice...
I know, we all made this forum so nice, but someone more active, someone preffer to read without writing comments...
edit: made mistake in thread name, mods, please change :) dumb..

...or maybe an award for most sarcastic poster

Funniest would be...fun! You win there too, at least when Andy is not posting so much;)

Try not to think of it so much as being sarcastic but rather more ironically flippant.

Hi Homer, they used to have something like this in the past, and it made up for some good reading!
It was called "Best Posting Award of the Fortnight" and i enjoyed many of these posts.

I might have missed some interesting topics were it not for that award:)

I don't know exactly why it stopped, i guess because the forum was updated, with a new vbulletin and this 'experience' we have now.
However CM said this system has a bug, and would be removed/changed, and a few weeks back i saw Igor offered a possible fix?

No idea where things are standing on that note, so maybe one of the Mods, or CM can chime in?
I personally also like your idea, for most helpful post/person: it inspires people to be "good", if anything;)
Or like Tirilej said, funniest post would be good too, however it would most likely induce a storm of cheesy jokes...:p (from me)

Let's see what Bryan says:)

Hello,

There is already data on the last 30 days. Such as "Top Thanked".
All users have reputation points, among others.

So ... For this idea ... What is the purpose? For what? What is the benefit?
And one more thing, how do you define the best user? Based on what?

It is still an idea ... But to be well done, would have to be well thought out.

Thanks

Sure, but there appears to be a bug with this system, it's also not too easily accessible to every user, "highlighted" posts or users would
of course, provided they are "sticky" somewhere...

And as to who decides and how.. simple, the only way is "voting"
Iirc, there were penalties for mindless posting and nominating, i assume there is an easily integratable script for vBulletin users...
Purpose and benefit are described in my previous post, but that is just my opinion of course.

That was an excellent plugin. Unfortunately, we had to discontinue its use when we upgraded to vBulletin 4 - it was no longer compatible and there is no replacement. For you newbies, this allowed members to "vote" on a post (much like the thanking system) and the post with the most votes in a fortnight was the winner. The winner was able to chose from a charity of his or her choice (or one of these https://www.casinomeister.com/donate/) and I'd donate $100. Everyone was a winner here.

"thanking" gives you rep points. You need rep points to get up to the next level. Your next level is "Full Member". Once you are a full member you can create your own blog and can utilize the C2o - a special Casinomeister tool that you can use in your browser to identify Accredited or rogue casinos. It's quite handy.

Just call me huggy bear. :p

By the way, I hope to get the "Experience" back up and running sometime this or next week. Yes, it was buggy.
