Time for a poll. I know you can make arguments that each provider has some great games but if you were told that you could only play the online games by one developer from now on, which would you pick?

My idea of hell - Netent-only casinos being available in the UK. I once awoke sweating after a nightmare along those lines, I was being beaten by the Turd with his harpoon while he shouted 'cowabunga' each time he landed a blow. I managed to escape along a corridor where there was a speaker every 2 metres playing the 'de la da derr derrr' from DoA which comes after each reel win. At the end of the corridor I just ran right at the 'T' and heard the marine's machine gun from Faliens being emptied at me. I rolled over amid the racket of ricochets and straightened up only to be met by the gimp out of JaTb, but he had red eyes and a scowl like Chucky as he sprang at me teeth bared. I dodged and was then faced by giant clucking hens bombarding me with exploding eggs, but fortunately a glowing blue portal opened suddenly and I dived through it. It was then I awoke. Never again.

MG 1st here, followed by NETENT. MG is my best wins to date, and yet to join the doa club.
Can't play igt and wms online, but like them and Ballys when I can get to the land based.
Enjoy Aristo as well, but not a big selection online, leastwatys at casinos I can play at.

If there was to be only one from now on, i picked other, and will elaborate as much: I'd pick Play&Go!
WMS is a very close second followed by a shared third for me for MG and Netent.

I choose Play&Go, since i pretty much like all of their games, and the newer releases are getting better and better: just check their pretty recent exclusive series for CasinoEuro, with the linked JP's, very cool i.m.o. Take Energoonz, it's now one of my all time favourites, pretty much since the day of it's release.

What these guys do well, is they take much of the best features of all good providers out there and they mix it up, with a on average funky sound and cool graphics most of the times.

I do really hope it would never come to such a moment in time where we would have to pick:
Even if my preference now lies with those games, it might, and probably will change in the future, and one of the riches of the world wide web is the freedom of choice, for as far as that applies:)

(booing @ IGT for never letting me play their games yet:mad:)

Such a VERY hard question!
My first instinct was Microgaming because they have such a vast array of different slots.

But then I thought to myself "if you only have 100 to deposit at ONE casino this month, which would you chose?"
And my answer was... a NetEnt casino.
So they got my vote.
Second would definitely be MG and 3rd would be Rival.

The others... well they do have some good games, but at the end of the day I think they are all a fair way behind the 3 I listed above.

PS: Just want to say that I am totally amazed that currently WMS are second in the vote when their slots are obviously not "truly random" with their "gimped reels"... very interesting indeed!

KK

I voted WMS even though I have never been able to play them on-line for real money...yet.

I have played a few of their games in fun play and seen plenty of videos of how they are on youtube and such.

IMHO the skill of their programmers and testing teams is unmatched as is their ability to get so many big trademarked themes from movies and cartoons and whatnot. The way their games can give out so many larger medium wins (50X to 200X) and still maintain their TRTP and still have the ability to go completely wacky and award epic wins is pure genius. Also, so many of their older games have stood the test of time very well (Ruby Slippers).

If all I had was a few from the "Wizard of Oz" series I would be perfectly content.

Well I can only go with what I know. And you probably already guessed it but PartyGaming(?) / whatever software PartyCasino uses. I know it's pretty old tech verse a lot of the newer offerings by microgaming etc. but I still enjoy their offerings. Did give 3Dice a go after being recommended it, the slots were fun to play and visually nice, but found myself heading back to Party for my next deposit. But after browsing the accredited list I think I'll be giving 32Red a go and try out microgaming next.

Dude, no sweets before bedtime!

LOL..Apparently it's eating cheese before sleep that caused this...:)

I voted MG simply due to the vast choice multitude of designs. Yes, there's a lot of dross there, but pound-for-pound better than other manufacturers.

This poll is about software, I get that, but other things comes in mind.

The two only options I can see as a competitor for first place is MG and NetEnt. It's at these two I find many slots I like.

Can I play ALL Microgaming slots (I want to play) and be able to have quick withdrawals? No!

Can I play ALL NetEnt slots (I want to play) and be able to have quick withdrawals? Yes! :)

Yes you can but Netent can wipe out your bankroll faster than MG on low bets unless you get lucky early on.:D I have been playing Netent quite a bit over the last few years and have very few big wins. I have had a couple of big wins but always less than 200x betsize. I get more of bigwins on MG software.

I'd say that has to do with play style and luck and nothing else.

I've had just as much winnings at NetEnt as on MG and I've played them both a lot.
I've also had just as many 1000x winnings on both so no different there.

I love them both;)

Ah, you have to realize that I only knocked on the door at SKL's (they do the audit on NetEnt's games) office two km away from me and asked for the loop holes in NetEnt's machines, so now i'm winning!

If it weren't for NetEnt trying to devalue the wild or their attempt to enter the Guinness book of records for the most blank spins on a slot... I'd vote for them.

My vote probably goes to MG or WMS as their games are quite entertaining and they do mix it up. At least they DON'T release a new slot every month that outdoes the previous ones with the amount of fractional wins and blank spins.

Good for you:) I usually bet small. The largest would be 1.00 a spin with a healthy bankroll. I think I have only managed to cashout 1 or 2 times playing Netent games only. Mostly I mix it up and try what's on offer. I don't think I have ever got one 1000x win on Netent but I have had many on MG.

I guess its down to preference in the end;)

No bgo Studios to choose from :( We make our own games too!

I know :) But to save having 200 options, I just went for the providers that provide a platform aswell or who have a land-based presence and - no offence intended Paul but realistically, the most votes will probably go to one of these right now

Being from the USA, I respectfully abstain from voting.

I haven't experienced anything other than RTG, sprinkled with a little (very little) Vegas Technology in years. So I really and truly have no idea what it's like playing various software out in the 'real' online gambling world anymore.

Love MG and Netent but Netent just clinches it for me due to the fact so many games are very similar to each other so it doesn't take a long time to adapt from game to game. Also Netent have easily superseded the size of wins I have had on MG! With titles like DOA,Jack and the beanstalk,Reel Steal, fruit shop and many more Net Ent is better for the big wins for tiny bets ;)!

Ya gotta have more than a couple Paul:D Having said that I do like the Jurassic Island slot; its different:) So I would be interested to see what you have in the future.:)

Lol Paul, if your studio keeps up the good work they might be included in the next similar poll:)
As Osulle said, i like Jurassic Island, and the newer one Jungle Trouble a lot, they are indeed different, and i had a hard time determining the variance, since there are very big wins possible (had a few), but strangely enough they play very friendly over all so far, so it seems to be a good balance

Surprising to see no votes for Rival as I believe they do have some very good games with some inventive bonus features, Spy Game and Jaques Pot come to mind. I'm thinking that how the operations are managed may be influencing the voting to a certain extent.

You can play lots of rival games safely on Tropezia Palace  Try for love or money and summer ease these games are like an atm when they go on win streaks :D!

Hopefully that will change soon Mousey depending on what state you live in:)

C'mon Microgaming by a country mile with Netent a distant 2nd.

I quite like RTG but despise their max payout limits. I would play Rival more if I could trust the casinos hosting their games

I enjoy WMS & IGT at Aus land based casinos, but they all seem to be fairly low variance. Nothing beats the rush of getting 4 wild reels on IR or the 5th wild dropping on DOA during free spins.

Obvious answer here is: Topgame  . On a more serious note MG is probably my provider of choice given that I have the appropiate bankroll (50€-100€) and the deposit match to go with that, without a bonus i prefer WMS even though that´s the only provider where Im really down their slots just feel "unique" compared to other providers. I do like netent aswell and it used to be my favorite but their latest slots have just been absolute crap which has led to both my bankroll and preference suffering. I do play RTG slots aswell from time to time (mostly due to the great treatment a regular player gets at inetbet.eu) though they feel really high variance and mostly diminshes my bankroll in minutes (same bankroll which on MG could be hours of entertainment).

Oh and netent gets a second honorable mention for flawless graphics/gameplay, their slots just runs so fast and pretty.

Feeling the love for the games so far which is good news :) The guys will be very happy! We have a pretty hectic dev schedule for the new games, looking at roughly 1 per month. We have a new Mini game being released tomorrow and then another full screen one later this month. Both games can be very volatile - Jungle Trouble in particular. We do tell people this in the pay tables to help you choose which bonus feature works best for you :)

This is really tough.

But overall, all things considered, on reflection and under the circumstances, I'd have to go for Microgaming.

Williams and NetEnt are awesome as well. But all things told, at the end of the day and when it comes to it.

Microgaming.

I genuinely think that NetEnt is the most innovative IMPO and actually comes up with bright and brilliant themes for their slots. MG runs out of ideas quickly and adds old features to new slots. Williams also just creates a lot of the same slots with different graphics.

On the other hand - you have to weigh the overall look, feel and payouts on slots and that's where NetEnt loses horribly. Their new slots whilst brilliant in design are sadly - for me - nothing short of a rip-off. I still play more NetEnt (DOA) than I play anything else...Everything else I try 90% of the time with 'New' is a dismal failure and a wallet munching frustrating experience.

I've had some insight into how their new games perform and they go something like this per day (RTP)... 110%, 50%, 35%, 90%, 40%, 55%. 160% etc... Although the Slots end up paying near their TRTP, the design is ensured to frustrate you more often and ensure you don't go back to play their garbage or get significantly ahead. Anyways... Not like ever commenting on the subject will change their stance on design.
