this would probably make a good poll later, but I thought I'd just throw it out there since there are so many.

i like the ones for Vegas Palms and 777Dragon (that's assuming at least one of the 777 dragons is female)

there's one more i recall being very cool. it had a video montage of driving down the Vegas strip.....maybe it was Lucky Nugget?

I like the breezy outdoors action you get with Maple Casino, and the suave Monte Carlo-esque 'come on in' at 32RED. For some reason, Spin Palace makes me want to throw my laptop through the window - Irrational I know - but I think it's something to do with the mediaeval theme... Rubbish. Ooh - I like The Gaming Club too, definitely the most Vegas! Shame the support isn't the most Vegas too!!! Heh hee

I don't watch them, just skip right on to losing my money as fast as I can.

You never know. Maybe the video can hypnotize you into losing your money faster than you imagined. Skipping it may have saved you tons of $$$$$. Haha!

Good point Chuchu, lol. They probably have some subliminal messages in there that say, bet $9 a spin and up only. :D

You know, there's a chap here in the UK called Derren Brown (www.derrenbrown.co.uk) that is extremely skilled in the arts of persuasion, misdirection, magic and NVC. He does quite a bit on subliminal messages, and their impact on the public at large. He did a great piece not too long ago on the effect of subliminal messages in advertising. Basically, he included some targeted messages in a commercial before a film at the cinema, which suggested people should forget about the film. They interviewed a load of people on the way out and it was hilarious! They'd ask really simple questions about the film, and people couldn't remember anything about it!

Just had a frightening thought - what if any of the online casino's decide to take on his services to design their opening sequence!!

It is scary Slotster, and it's not beyond the realm of possibility. I'm not saying they would actually do it, but it could certainly be done. It's amazing how the mind can be influenced.

What was this thread about again?

Oh yeah. Intros. Not sure any have really grabbed me especially. I do like the Flash header that King Neptunes uses on its Flash casino though. Simple but relaxing.

RiverBelle

RiverBelle has to be my favourite, I would log on just to see it!

Unfortunately, they have taken it off. Some other MG casinos have got rid of the intro in the later upgrades.

It's actually possible to stick your OWN video on, and have your own background music. Boss casinos actually have a preprogrammed option for this.

As well as putting your own on, you can switch off the official ones at any MG casino if they make you want to vomit (or are paranoid about subliminal messages)

Casinomeister

Although I would probably also rank "King Neptune's" as having the best intro, I'm thinking I can't ignore that awesome "jazzy-strike-up-the-band" intro score for Neptune's kid sister VegasUSA. Classic stuff!!!

My "Top 5 MG Intros" would have to be:

1)
"King Neptune's"

Reasons: I like the sharpness of those little blue bubbles. It also reminds me of the submarine ride over at "West Edmonton Mall"... at least, that was back in '87. And surely, the scene with "Neptune" rising from the depths of the sea from the All-Time classic "Jason & The Argonauts".

2)
"VegasUSA"

Reasons: As stated above + it has a REAL classic Vegas feel to it.

3)
"32Red"

Reasons: I've always loved how simple it is. To me, it has the feel of something from the early/mid '60s fashion/design, which was my favorite period.

4)
"777Dragon"

Reasons: It may have something to do with the luck I've had there, therefore I look forward to loading it up. Nevertheless, it's still one of my favorites.

5)
"FIRSTWEBCASINO"

Reasons: It looks dated, and reminds me of a Monopoly board (more like a game show rather than a casino), but it's so cheesy that I love it. Sometimes terrible can come full circle, and fall back into fashion.

I'm working on a new intro for 32Red, and it's actually gonna feature me in it along with Patsy Kensit. Here's how it goes! The intro music starts and Patsy starts stripping right down to her thong ,and I'm sitting nearby with a bottle of beer in my hand looking cool and unimpressed. With a sparkle in her eye she glances over at me whilest flashing a naughty little grin as her tongue slowly caresses her lips revealing her nasty intentions of tearing me up as though I were a choice cut of beef. Like a tiger stalking its prey, she makes her way across the room and without hesitation throws a leg over and mounts me as one would a sleek and powerful motorcycle. Her body is a work of art, and she begins to move in all directions like a cowboy breaking in a wild stallion. I barely notice her as I take a swig of my beer. At this point we both turn to the camera as though it were calling for our attention, and in her soft and sultry voice she says "Welcome to 32Red!" ,as I give a wink and the thumbs-up sign.

It's just a thought. Maybe they'll use it, maybe they wont. I'll keep you posted!

I don't know about anyone else, but I need a cigarette now. ;) :p

Patsy Kensit and Tim5ny Video: $5
10 Mins on Thunderstruck at 32Red: $100
Last two posts. Priceless.

Plus a "JohnSteed" special! We're getting spoiled :)

I think the MG videos are pointless and boring. It also annoys me that they always play sound even if I have sound turned off in the casino.

It also makes me laugh when I install a Playtech and it says something along the lines of "Enjoy state of the art graphics and amazing sound!". Until a casino has 3D graphics with bitmapping, lighting and shadow effects, and uses Dolby 5.1, I don't think this is a reasonable claim to make :)

LMAO - Tim, I think 32 Red should snap you up to head their late night adult division. Excellent stuff, and MacGyver's follow-up just added to the merriment!

Heh hee! Good one Tim! You've thought that through a little bit tooooo much for my liking!

I think the Patsy Kensit endorsement was a great move by 32RED, again thinking outside the box!

And Jetset, talking about a 'late night adult' casino - a mate sent me a DEFINITE adult link to a new poker room!! Very funny, but not really appropriate to post here!! PM if you want it ;)

I had a brief chat with a few of the chaps at 32RED a while ago about a dedicated 32RED Slot machine, along the lines of the Belle Rock slot. I think their image and branding lends itself towards something like this extremely well... I was going to come up with some ideas, but then got too busy with work! In fact - I just had a thread idea!! :D

I think that's a great idea Slotster! 32Red should make a multi-line bonus round slot using their logo in it as "wilds" and maybe they could have Patsy Kensit scantily clothed giving me a lap dance as the scatters.

You need the "Cold Shower" slot mate :D

Seem your statement is even more fitting here Slotster! Though in Tims defense we are talking Patsy Kensit :D
