Not sure but it seems to be working, for deposits anyways..
the way ive been making deposits is with a mastercard giftcard.they all seem to like them havent had one rejected yet.
Spin Palace got intouch with me after making a dep with one the next day.
told them what i had and where i buy.she said you are the first depositer with such a thing.
I said jackpot. do i win something.
never heard boo from the again about the card.

so is that the best way to make a dep.no account info or bookers fees

and when iam lucky enough to WIN someday soon
Can i just ask for a check from these casinos.

i know it will take longer to receive but 2 or 3 week is ok with me.
would that be standard for a check
also would you have to give documents to them

would this be the best way to dep and withdraw from casinos.

Thanks this is a great site..Cheers

Well Zack I can see this post is not getting much attention and I think you need to understand that for a relatively new poster.. it usually scares off others to have someone new inquire about deposit and withdrawal options because of all the US hulla-baloo!;)

as well as this should be posted in "america the beautiful' maybe a mod can move it for you???

btw.. M/c is not your best option. they will shut you down real fast from past experience.. but if you go to the search option above and type in "deposit options" it will bring up a list of threads for you!!
Good luck!

All payment methods have pros and cons. There's convenience, transaction limits, flexibility, etc.
If I had to choose one universally liked method I'd say electronic wallet. Casinos especially love them (vs. credit cards). You know why? security

But Zack is Canadian... Why should this be in the ATB section?

I don't see any need for this to be in ATB. The options that we use up here, are different than what the US uses, for the most part anyway.

Zack, I also use a Mastercard and have never had one single problem. I use it at 32Red, Inetbet and 3Dice. It is the prepaid variety that I got from Money Mart. When you want to load it, you just go to your local Money Mart, and if you are performing some other transaction (ie. cheque cash, Western Union, bill pay, etc), the load is free. If you are JUST loading the card, there is a $2 fee. Patrina mentioned something about a monthly fee you can pay instead, but I prefer to just pay as I go. They also charge a % for each transaction....for me it works out to about 50 cents to 1 dollar per transaction, depending if it is in Canadian dollars or US dollars. It works like a charm, and like I said, never had a problem with it. You can check your account online, and they even break down your spending into different areas, and gaming is one of them.

For withdrawals, I use Moneybookers. Once the casino sends payment, it's in your account instantly. From there, you can request a cheque withdrawal, which will be in US dollars, and the fee is a modest $4.95 (maximum). You also have the option of withdrawing to your bank account, but I prefer to not register a bank account with any ewallet. You can also fund Moneybookers from your Credit Card (not a prepaid one though), or through a wire transfer from your bank. But, for the wire transfer, you actually have to request your bank to send the money. You can't initiate it through the MB site. And be prepared to verify your identity with MB as well. But for an ewallet, they are tops in my book.

I would imagine you could also request a cheque withdrawal direct from any casino. Only thing with 32Red, is that they only issue cheques in British pounds, and that could be a pain when it comes to cashing it....only because of the "hold" on international cheques in a currency other than US dollars/Cdn dollars.

Knock on wood, but these methods have worked for me for years, with nary a glitch ever. Hope this helps.

I have to disagree no matter where
you are from all deposit an withdraw methods
should be discussed in ATB
even tho the OP is Canadian U are
still giving tips on how casino's operate on their
deposit an withdraw options

I'm pretty sure your U.S. government knows that casinos use credit cards and Moneybookers. But seeing as that U.S. players cannot use Mastercard or Moneybookers, I don't see what the issue is. Why would they be interested in what methods Canadians use? If we were discussing options that U.S. players use, I would agree with you wholeheartedly.

Someone from the DoJ or government can still sign up to this forum if they so desire, and read the ATB forum by requesting access. All it does when a topic is moved in there, is take it out of the search engines.

A Canadian player is unlikely to come here and go to the ATB forum to get info on Canadian banking options for casinos. Makes no sense.

EDIT: I see the mods already moved it. So when Zack comes back to look for an answer, will he be able to get in here to read the thread? Or will he know to ask for access? Do new posters get a message telling them to PM a mod to gain access? Absolutely pointless for a thread on Canadian deposit/withdrawal methods to be locked away in a forum dedicated to U.S. players. Maybe it would just be better for U.S. players to not answer questions from players from other countries, unless they are sure of their info. In this case, the bit about Mastercard is completely untrue. It works fine up here.

Damn Mercy, is that Obama guy trying to take over the whole world already? Before he's even sworn in?

No one told me, and funnily enough my taxes still go to Revenue CANADA. Go figure.

Hey Zack, I have some knowledge about this and I feel the best way to deposit is through the pre-paid mc. As pina said, you pay as you go. I do know the card your speaking of, I believe it's a "Vanilla card" you only use it once? Either way, I have used all deposit methods, "echeck, ewallet, moneybookers etc" and the pre-paid card, I find is the best. With all the other options, I have had problems, (but that's just my situation, I'm not saying you will have the same problem) but, with the pre-paid card you can easily keep track of your purchases. If you call them via their # on the back of the card, they charge you like $1.75 for each call and most of the time they tell you their busy and to call back later, and you are still charged, so I highly recommend registering your card at the site as there are no fees involved. As pina said, yes, I pay the $15.00 flat monthly fee. This fee includes all transactions, loads, and you can pay bills etc at no extra charge. I think pina said this too, but if you dont want to pay the $15.00 monthly fee then you pay the $7.95 monthly fee and $1.50 for every transaction at a casino, when you load you pay money mart $2.50 and mc $2.00, So, if you play more then a few times a month then it's well worth it to pay the flat monthly fee, of course that's your choice, but if your like me and have bills to pay too, it's alot cheaper to have them directly paid with your card, instead of paying for a $4 money order or the $1 fee most places charge you to pay your bills. There is a list of perks included with the flat fee, but I dont have them handy. You can look at the site at nextwavetitaniumplus.com As well, I have another card I got from the cash store, this is a money in motion card? They charge alot more then money mart does. Echeck is real handy, and ewallet and moneybookers are also good alternatives but I found the fees high and I had a hard time keeping my transaction logs together. With the withdrawal options I always ask for a cheque, I have used moneybookers too but after the casino deposited my winnings, it took a long time to get my cheque from moneybookers. I prefer to pay the $35 courier fee (if it's a pretty good win) otherwise it will take anywhere from 7-11 days to get your money. It's a good idea to give the casinos where you play, copies of your card & ID so that in the future when you do win you dont have to go through all the hoopla. It can be a real pain in the ass running to the post office 3-4 times to get the copies or fax "right" (Btw pina, did you know when you load your card, you pay that fee to money mart and a $2.50 fee to mc as well?) I found out after about a year that paying the flat fee saved me about $30 a month, anyway, your choice of course!
Anyway nice to meet you Zack I hope this helps!!
Patrina:)

Btw pina, did you know when you load your card, you pay that fee to money mart and a $2.50 fee to mc as well?

That's odd Patrina, I've never paid a $2.50 fee in addition to the $2. And if I've paid a bill or cashed a cheque, I pay nothing. If I load $40, and have used one of their services, when I get home and check online, there's $40 on the card. How long have you been paying that? Cause I just did a load one day last week, and there were no additional fees.

Oh, I guess you don't pay the $2.50 now, lol....as you said you do the $15 a month thing. That is strange though why they've never taken that from me. Not that I'm complaining mind you.

I find the Moneybookers cheques come fairly quickly...usually within 5 business days, sometimes 7 at the most. And the maximum fee I've paid is $4.98 or whatever it is.

I gotta agree that questions from Canadian players about our withdrawal and deposit options do not belong in the America The Beautiful thread.

And I hope I am not guilty of cross posting, but Zack asked this elsewhere and I answered there. I wanted to say ask about your withdrawal options before depositing. Rival casinos Simon Says and Slotocash do not offer cheques or bankwires as withdrawal options. And I've had trouble funding my Moneybookers account from my prepaid card, as they make an initial small deposit in Euros, but this appears on my card history as the amount in Cdn funds, and they will not accept this as a verification amount, and money mart was unable to tell me the amount they sent in euros. I could set it up so I can deposit directly from my bank account, a scenario I prefer to avoid.

Exact same thing happened to me Jasmine re: the verification deposit. I never was able to verify the card. And there were times when I wanted to deposit with MB, rather than CC, to avoid this documentation thing. It doesn't really matter now, as I only play three places, and I'm good for withdrawals at all of them.

And like you, I refuse to tie a bank account into an ewallet. It's just way too convenient, and I can't say that I trust them 100% either, lol. The prepaid card is the best, as you load what you can afford ie. cash on hand...when it's gone, it's gone.

With that wip I would have thought you didn't pay any taxes :icon_twis

No chatmaster, lol...I'm all for civil disobedience, but this gal has been paying her taxes faithfully since she was 13 years old. Nice thought though.

Hey Pina, I am not sure why they haven't charged you that fee? When I used to do the 7.95 monthly fee, they charged me 2.50 Unless that was the money in motion card? I am curious now, I will have to check that out. I do remember the girl telling me that they charge and mc charges too, every time. I haven't had to pay that since I started paying the 15.00 fee and it could be possible that is when I stopped using the money in motion card so maybe that's it? I am going to the site and see what I can find, bbs

Would like to point out that we do not pay taxes on gambling winnings, including casinos and lotteries. So if any of our south of the border friends want to come up and visit us, we won't be making any deductions from your payouts.

Ok, of course I had problems accessing the site:rolleyes: A few weeks ago I had lost my password and requested a new one, the guy said it was down and I would be sent a new one when they fixed their password retrieval. I gotit yesterday and tried tolog on but can't, so goes my luck, but I just clicked on the "how it works" and cant find the list of fees. But, I did just find out that you can now load your card from home! From your bank. That must be something new? Ok, got in, bb in a min.

Ok, so this is what I found,
Old Attachment (Invalid)

I dont see the $2 mc fee, so that must of been the other money in motion card.

Patrina:)

p.s. The other card "money in motion" is at www.directcash.net, I went there to try and check the fees but they didn't give me any info. If the money in motion card does not charge the $2.50 fee then when I was loading my card all those times, I was being ripped off? hmmm Definitely something I am going to check out!!

Titanium Plus MC's site was down for quite a long time, but I've had telephone calls returned explaining the situation. I think they may still be having trouble. And I find I am taking a hit with the current exchange rate, especially since it fluctuates enough that what is initially reserved, may not be what finally appears on your statement, as they actually charge the prevelant rate at the time the merchant's request for payment is received.

Yes, but it takes up to 2 business days. So you cannot "instantaneously" transfer money from one to another, so it loses a lot of the temptation factor. But if I know that I cannot get out to deposit on my card, I can wait a couple of days by paying from my bank account. You set it up just like a bill payment. And Money Mart is now offering a direct deposit option from your bank account, so if you want to play $50 every payday or such, you can.

Not for Long:D

Regarding ALL comments seperating the US and Canada.

I answered a new members question honestly. Most of the long standing members here at CM tend to shy away from a newbie making thier first post about a deposit or withdrawal method. It has always been a red flag in the past.. thus the reason for ATB.

No where does it say ONLY U.S. payment processing, under "America the Beautiful." I think maybe because US posters get involved also.
When I reply to a post, veteran poster or newbie. I am not prejudice to where they are from. I answered his question, (which had gone unanswered for 3 hours.) and I answered it as honestly and informatively as I could. Which is what we as CM members are supposed to do.
No prejudice. I don't care if they are from US, Canada, Ireland, UK, Italy, China, whatever.. to me it does not matter. I love everyone equally. :D

So why can't we all just get along??

IMHO, comments about Obama or When did the United States annex Canada? are unnecessary derails.

Zack, I myself use a prepaid card, but it is All Access Netspend Visa. I used to use greendot mastercard (a prepaid) but that turned into a problem (yes, probably because I am in the US) But my preferred method is to use the Ewallet Quicktender. Most casino's will send you an invitation to Quicktender if you ask. It is fast and easy to use and also seems to be the ewallet of choice lately BUT I honestly am not sure if Quicktender is the Ewallet of choice for Canadians.:D But I do wish you luck.
