When are RIVAL going to fix these BUGS???

I think it's one or more drums per spin; when I had the free-spins I did notice the drums were animated and made a sound (I think?) when they hit, indicating something significant. But I didn't get them EVERY spin, so I don't know yet what my "Bang" is going to be.

Hmmm...well I checked my logs at one Rival where Ive played it and TWICE Ive had at least one drum on each free spin and got ZILCH!! I wonder if I should start kicking and screaming?? Certainly according to the paytable I should have 'gone out with a bang' (which hasnt happened for several weeks I can tell you...... :D )

5 drums

I got 5 drums during free spins yesterday and guess what I got paid....$0.00. Talk about screwed!

If you hit at least one drum on each free spin you get some small win at the end, I think it was 7.5 times bet. There also seems to be more drums on reels during free spins so this happens quite a lot. For 3 scatters the multiplier is 3x, for 4 it is 5x and probably something higher for 5, never hit that :)

It's really sad how they can't just get the rules right when making the slot, not like it's hard.

Well I can tell you I got what mother hubbard had in her cupboard - and where did you see the 3x 4x multiplier thingie??

5 scatters give 5 free spins with 10x multiplier.:eek2:
Hit them once, I went like AAAGH!!..but no win, only loads of useless scatters:mad:
And there are definately more scatters during free spins, but don't ask me why.
Really a big shame for Rival, Rock On could be a great slot, but not in this unfinished state.

As KK points out it is much more than just sloppy rules.

How can you know if the game is functioning correctly if the rules are either unclear or incorrect?
For all you know it could be a gameplay fault resulting in you getting 75% payback rather than 90%
That is actually a very serious flaw and well spotted by KK.

Are you saying that if you hit a scatter on every spin of the initial 5 free-spins, it gives you another 5 spins all at x10?

If so, that is the "Go out with a Bang" they mention on the PayTable.
(But not mentioned AT ALL in the rules).

By the way, just checked the rules again - STILL NOT UPDATED!! :sob:

Come on RIVAL - you are better than this, surely! :what:

No, I mean if you hit 5 scatters in normal spins you get a 10x multiplier on your 5 free spins.
If you're lucky enough to hit a bunch of green guitars with one of those..;)

As far as I know its 5 free spins with 3x multiplier regardless of how many scatters you hit - but who the hell knows with this lame excuse for a slot???

KK is right. The paytable is completely different to the game rules and the free spins are NOT 'CANT LOSE FREE SPINS'!!!!.

I dont know how any operator with half a brain could allow this to happen.

Something similar happened before with an exclusive slot at the previously named "Absolute Slots' so this is not really something new with Rival. They can happen but what is worst of all is they dont seem to bloody care. Churning out new slots every now and then without rigorous testing and monitoring. They just care about early returns from new slots without caring a damn for their sustainability.

maybe they dont test the new slots because they know it will be done for them
KK you should bill them for doing the work for them ;)

as Ive said before it doesn't give you alot of confidence that any of there slots are giving you the right payback, especially if you hit 3/4 wilds in the bonus games, it would give rival a bit more credibility if a 3rd party checked the games,

I did actually offer to do it for free - on more than one occasion.
One of the Rival casino reps even said they would let me know when a new game was about to come out, but of course, nothing happened.

I would actually do it if asked, but why should I have to? Anyone with half a brain can easily spot the glaring inconsistencies between the published game rules, the pay table, and what the slot actually does...
Surely there must be ONE person at Rival who meets this criteria???
... or maybe there's not! :p

Ooops ,I'm not alone. When Rock On was just launched you could expect that at least one of 5 NO LOSE SPINS will be really profitable.

But...during my several sessions last week I got a whole load of ZERO bonus rounds.Looks like it became a regular occurence. I had a very pitiful return after having thousands of spins. And I've never seen it before --each "no lose" spin NOW contains at least 2 drums. During my few last sessions each of five spins contained from 3 to 5 drums..I really started to think maybe there is a new feature when your EncoreBonus rounds are accumulated or somewhat. But from that moment all Ive seen was big round ZERO.

"No lose free spins"-it should be copyrighted probably. If honestly at Pamper casino in fun mode even free spins aren't free.

At the same time I'm a fond of Rival games and particularly Rock On:rolleyes:

Rival definitely brought something new and something really cool.Well, not something.A LOT!!!

I'm pretty sure we'll not be disappointed in future.

GL to all!

I'm more than a little confused by your post...

You seem to be very happy about playing Rock On - even though it is definitely not working properly and it's return % must be massively below the advertised figure...
Do you get pleasure from throwing money away? :what:

KK

Nope! Im maybe sick but not ill.

KK, you probably missed something. Im not gonna play RockOn for some time.

I just meant that I liked this game itself. And it promised to have a high winning potential. And I had a few really nice hits on it.

But now I see it definitely SUCKS.

Im actually a bit disappointed.

SlotoCash have a promo with RockOn this weekend, and given the paytables and rules are up the spout and nobody really seems to know what it should or shouldnt pay in the free spins, I am really very surprised.

I wonder if anyone from Rival who is responsible for game design/bug fixing actually reads this forum? Do they actually CARE, or are we just wasting our virtual breath??

There was a time when these things at Rival didnt worry me...I just thought 'Well if I win then great if I dont then tough'...but now after this Rockon nonsense and the progressive malarkey it really does grate my gears. I may well have been ripped off every time I played that slot, and there is no way to prove it.

I still think that if the casino states that the slot has NO LOSE FREE SPINS and you actually LOSE, then we ALL have a legitimate beef and should have our money refunded. After all, if you buy something from a store based on certain features, and it turns out they dont actually have them, do you just sit back and say 'Oh well thats my bad luck'??? NO - you march right back to the store and demand your money back. I reckon its time we all thought about this and emailed the casinos where we played Rockon and put it to them that they offered a feature that didnt exist.

Of course, they will just blow you off with some excuse or another and you wont get past first base, so on second thoughts I wouldnt bother.

You would NEVER EVER see anything like this at 3Dice or 32RED or Buzzluck. Rival have a lot to learn if they ever want to seriously challenge these outfits.

 rant over

Rock Off

Wish I would had read the end of this thread before taking Sloto up on thier Rock on promotion. What a bust, bonus round is not no loose, you get a ton of drums and then nothing.

Congratulations Rival, you are officially CRETINS!!!

I just checked to see if Rival had fixed Rock On yet - and they have!

The rules no longer say the free-spins are no lose...
But they still have NO IDEA of the meaning of the words PROOF READING!
Please, please, PLEASE tell me what is so difficult about it?

Sheeeeeesh!!! :sob:

Oh... and they STILL haven't mended to slot!

"When winning combinations of symbols could be formed, the Wild Green Guitar (Expanding Wild) will expand to fill the entire reel, allowing all paylines to take advantage of the wild - this can allow for huge combinations of wins!"

I've been playing Rock On in fun mode this afternoon, just to find out about the free spins.
It seems that the Elvis bonus symbols are replaced by scatterdrums during free spins, at least I have not seen an Elvis when playing fs.
And I'm pretty sure now that if you hit at least 1 scatter in each of your 5 free spins, you get 7 times your original bet at the end.
I tried to make screenies to show you, but I failed, they don't show what they were supposed to show.
But 7 times bet...can't help but finding it a bit dissapointing for the promised 'bang'

Yes, I think you are right (or nearly right?)
I finally got my "Bang" yesterday - and I'm pretty sure it paid 7.5 times my bet.
I didn't see anything which told me that - just my win went up that much.
But is it the same every time - anyone else had a Bang?
;)
