What would YOOU do with your WD?

Just a fun Q borne from curiosity, but what do, and what would you do with a 'sizeable' WD?

In 2013 I put all wins toward rent to allow me some 'gravy' in my day to day and 2014/2015 went mad on furniture, figuring, best to have tangible results lying about.

For me in 2016, I'd be looking to:

$500 - fix the cat. Not having slept in, oh, 6 days max 6 hrs, kitty's getting snipped.

1K - kitty and a whack of clothes, not having actually bought any new clothes in roughly 3 yrs lol I think I'm due.

$1500 - kitty, clothes and stock the home bar for summer (hey, I'm not a bar guy, dont eat out, 2 dogs make holidaying impossible etc, but do enjoy friends over on my deck.

2k - a substantial 'add' to the house

10K - the dream DOA hit I guess lol, but stamp that down toward a mortgage

How about you? What are you hoping to purchase, do etc?

Well, what a lovely 'If only' topic lol

Think I'd follow suit to a degree, last time I hit really decent (Christmas Eve ironically!!) I paid 3 months rent up front, not life changing but a decent and very welcome bit of breathing space, just in case work was not great (which really paid off as it has been terrible since Christmas!)

Prior to that IIRC all bills were up to date for that month so we decided on a extra treat for the kids, giving them (and me and missues) an 'out of the blue' £100 each to do as we pleased sort of thing.

If that 'MEGA BIG SUPER FAN DABBY DOZY WIN' ever comes, think I will make efforts to move out of rented accommodation and maybe a deposit towards a place we can eventually own lol!

Whilst waiting for that day, my small low roller wins will fund my Malteser and munchies

Nice, giving the fam 'for you, get whatcha want' token. (I've no kids but did buy the fat bastich dog a durable oversized bed which he's really taken to and still has )

Ya, and same, my last big WD..lol, and think last WD at all (last summer) and BAM! paid rent ahead and through the summer...a little removal of one source of potentail stress.
I'm due (in my mind) one this year.

Been pretty lucky recently so have paid off all three of my booked holidays, (2 in the UK that I'm taking my dog on and one to Cyprus to get away from her lol)

So if I win another £500 that will be professional dog clippers and a posh turnout rug each for my horses

£2000 a nice dressage saddle for my youngster (Oh and maybe a bottle of rum for my long suffering OH)

£5000 plus (not much chance of that) .... well another dog or horse of course (Might need to invest in a case of rum before suggesting that to the OH though!)
