Hi guys ;)

As we all know there are over 1000 online casinos to choose from. It's not an easy task. Or is it?

What do take into account picking the right one to play in?

Just the great games and rewards? Or do you go deeper and check the license, reputation, reviews, etc?
And even if these are all OK, what makes you decide this specific one?

Waiting for your thoughts,
Karl

Think everyone knows my weak spot which is max RTP all the way!

Once i have checked the background, which normally comes from someone or somewhere i trust like Casinomeister and some community members, I try not to deposit anywhere offering lower as i dont wish to support them or their cause.

It's also a much better experience playing whatever game i want and not having to check or avoid certain providers.

My next biggest turn off is bad service - Its a 'tell tale' sign of how a business is operated and their intentions. I rely on information from this community which has held me in good stead when it comes to choosing or trying somewhere new.

I admit bonuses, free spins and tournaments all carry some weight but not enough to trump those two following background checks.

After that, deposit and withdrawal methods are pretty much the same where i have seen. Most of the decent ones i play at have enough options.

Now with the coronavirus, are you still going physically to casinos? How can I decide on which

to play in a certain location (for example, Pennsylvania)? I'm looking for not only good RTPs, but also good customer service and transparency.

1. Casino's background is in good level and no too much complaints from "casino cluster"
2. Promotions. I like casinos which offer weekly something for the players. Like free spins on deposit or deposit bonuses. No deposit bonuses are, of couse, always a plus
3. Transaction. I don't mind if withdrawals are not instant. But 24 hour time frame is my condition to play in single casino.
4. Some sort of reward program. Points or meter what ever. When you have wagered enough you will get some goodie. Always nice to give something extra from casino while playing with your own money.

I guess i forgot something but those four steps are most important for me. Sure max. RTP's are big plus but sadly we are on the way where almost every casino sooner or later move to lower returns. That's my guess

As others said, im also a big fan of high rtp.
Good service, quick withdrawals, good options for deposits (prefer skrill or trustly)
Good selection of providers.

Im a sucker for bonuses, but not much of that coming my way now due to regulation, wich makes rtp, deposits/withdrawal speed all that more important.

A nice "trick" to test a casino imo is to send in all your documents the moment you sign up.
If the documents you have used successfully for many other sites for some reason get declined, or just take an unreasonable amount of time to get approved, run for the hills.

Self Enlightened interest....if a casino gives something back or a decent promo I will pick that over and above must other things, usually. As long as the servers aren't laggy as hell...i'll even tolerate a site that's maybe not the slickest if you get more out of your deposits. Having said that, sites like MTS (well what's left of them) were simply unplayable and i'd only take a punt on them if it was a really good offer on show

Payouts - within 24 hours, i don't need it in minutes but i want it quicker than 3 days.

Once all offers probably go it'll probably boil down to the slickest sites or the casino i feel is luckiest to me.

Obviously no clip joints or even some UKGC casinos that behave like such.

Don't really play Red Tigers/PNG etc so i can take or leave 96% RTP's as i normally only stick about 50 spins through them if i do play them, which is rare.

Theres not one thing for me
They must have at least Novomatic and PnG, preferably at the higher RTP.
Fast payouts, paying next day is pushing it, but Novibet, PaddyPower 6 hours or so as examples are fine. I never NEED the money in minutes, but don't want to be waiting days either.
Knowing I can trust them.
The site must work. It is pretty much the first thing a casino should make sure is right, yet some don't. I re-opened my account at Rizk after they left GIG, and half the games I try don't work, and haven't for weeks.

Things that can influence my decision

A decent rep. L&L get many more deposits than they would if it wasn't for Jan. I also play at Unibet sometimes, hoping @Mark_32Red would be able to sort any problems out :) Although he would get extra kudos points if he could find out for me why my football bets seem to be limited to about 13p, despite never winning one (that I can remember).
Decent promotions
Games that aren't available elsewhere, ie LV Bet get some deposits because they have some BF games (Book of Ming for example) that I don't see elsewhere.

Hi Gaz do you mind me asking what was the threshold for you to receive the SOW request, ive had a couple over last week or so. cheers

I think all casino's have different thresholds.

I had only ever done a basic SOW at VS in the past.

Then got hit with 3 SOW in 2 weeks, as I had increased my deposits (maybe double) as fancied a bit of higher stakes and had the cash.

One Casino was All British and without Jan's help, not sure I would of got through it.

Two new casinos I tried Slotsimillion and Casilando, KYC sorted in advance before deposit.

Won on both and was hit with SOW when I tried to withdraw.

Deposits were all less than 1 k.

Was fuming as I was getting nowhere and they wanted more and more stuff, was going to just say bollox, but the winnings were not small.

So basically I had to bite the bullet and give them pdfs of bank statements, proof of what some of the payments were, even copies of adverts of items I had sold for a few K :eek2: ect ect.

Was a real pita and extremely intrusive.

Took about 9 days to get paid and has really tarnished online gaming for me now.

Sadly, I think this is going to affect more and more people. It's the fact they do it on a withdrawal that's pisses me off.

They should pay you, then ask, you have a choice then to comply or tell them to FO.

And they would certainly have been told to FO by me.

edit to add-- Just remembered, late last year at Casumo, I got hit with kyc/sow and they said it was 2k of withdrawals that triggered it. Anyway after sending just about everything I had, nothing was good enough for them. So did tell them to FO give my money to charity and close my account. 6 weeks later got an email, saying my payment had been sent and account closed

- Promotions (especially if it is something more than just regular bonuses/free spins/leaderboards).
- Loyalty/cashback program.
- If the website is player-friendly on both desktop and mobile.
- Can you find interesting games there. Some brands have their own games and that makes them stand out.

Before ANYTHING, The casino has to be established and a positive record when it comes to payments and support ect, Casino having a rep on here is a massive positive when I decide to join a new casino,

The first term I check when approaching a new casino is if they accept players from my (poor) Country - Italy.
If yes, then I check what are the providers I can play.
99,99% of cases here I stop since cannot find nothing good.

In the remaining 0,01% of cases, next step is reputation (and YES the first site where I check this is here on CM).
Next step is what about depositing and withdrawing methods.
Then timing with withdrawals (it must be under 24/36 hours).

Only at this point I have a look to RTPs. But tbh I am used to so low RTPS that even 94% or 92% are still something paradisiac.

Hey guys ;)

Thank you for your thoughts and comments.
I was just wondering what's your opinion on the welcome offer?

If you're into welcome offers, what are the best ones that would tempt you to sign up and start playing in that casino? Or perhaps if everything else in that online casino seems good for you, maybe such is not needed?

Thanks,
Karl

I like them when they have no long lists of games that are excluded from wagering.

100% deposit offer or free spins are good. As my deposits are small, offers such as 40% or less are just not worth it for me. I might take it anyway (if im already registered) just in case i dont have fun with the cash but certainly not something that would entice me to try someone new.

1. Fast cash-outs. I don't have a desperate urge for the cash, but if it isn't sent within 48 working hours I would be less likely to deposit again.
2. Game selection - I need to see certain slots.
3. RTP - not such a concern for me as most games I play are set and cannot be reduced.
4. Promos - not too bothered about this BUT if they're going to do them, do NOT ever, ever come up with something as f*cking irksome as that pathetic 'Wheel of 10p Spins' at Rizk. When you've done £500 the absolute last thing you want is 5 or 10 free spins on some poxy game you would never normally touch, or 3 'super' spins on a game which has a win frequency of about 1/5 so you'll not even see a win. Even worse, the '2x turbo' is the boil on the anus of all promotions. "I've done hundreds of quid, I haven't even been given the pitiful 50p of useless spins BUT I can win the next lot of 5/10 useless spins twice as fast so they only cost me £200 instead of £400 in losses" IT MAKES MY BLOOD BOIL! But I have quit the site now, so it won't be an issue from now on. (I got the dreaded SoW pop-up which they can whistle for!) They have still had thousands from me though so lord only knows why it took the this long, as I'd already be homeless by now IF it was an issue lol...
In summary - treat me like the worthless-loser-piece-of-crap I am and offer me NOTHING, or else do it properly and tailor incentives to my play and deposit levels. In between simply doesn't work for me, it's insulting.
5. Easy account navigation and access.
6. Low RAM design. Rizk, in Chrome, was using up my 12GB of RAM resource to the point I thought the SSD would boil. That's BEFORE I even opened a game. The site was slow, buggy and resource-heavy. Check the bugger is smooth in all main browsers.
7. Clutter - get rid. Make the interface simple.
8. Another bugbear at Rizk casino - the greedy, presumptuous and grasping deposit form. I deposit £30 15 times on the bounce. Then I deposit say £60. Then back to £30 as normal. The deposit form would pre-fill £60 for then next 5-10 deposits as if to divert me from the lower 'usual' amount. I HATED THAT TOO! So don't 'suggest' deposit amounts, let the bloody customer decide.

Over and out.

Hi @Roedgaard72,

We've removed deposit bonuses last year and introduced Loyalty Club that rewards users according to their gameplay. Rewards that our players get are cash and wager free.

Reason to remove them is that we want to put the user in the centre of our universe. Meaning we don't find it user-friendly nor fair to have 35x wagering requirement when they win a big amount which they cannot even withdraw due to wagering requirement. On top it's more user-friendly for players to have full control of their funds all the time.

In general we also believe deposit bonuses are something casinos do because it’s always been the case, but as we’re always looking to improve the experience for our users, we are trying to find a better solution which is more convenient.

We genuinely believe it is better for the customer, and sticking to these old habits isn’t bringing growth into the industry either. :)

Cheers,
Karl

Thanks Karl.

Appreciate the transparent answer. I think I will have a go this weekend. Do like that you have the highest rtp settings on No Limit slots :)

I really like betting and made quite some money from it, so of course, I recommend it, but be careful, you could be ripped off so easily and there could be nothing for you to do about it cause it's full of scammers out there.

I wouldn't join any new site. I won't do SOW. I had about 20 accounts at one point. (I liked sports betting). Probably down to around 6 or 7 now with 3 in use regularly. When they're gone, they're gone. Hopefully can keep a few alive. Generally bet much lower now and less on sports

I used to hit the real casinos, but never too hard, cause I want no obsession. Since the quarantine in my region is still here I'm now focused on online betting which can be even trickier. It's quite risky and I don't think anyone would like to be scammed. I recommend you do all your homework before you start throwing money. I do all my betting through securitized sites with the best online casinos that payout cause I'm not about to risk all that I've made the legal way. Keep in your lane and have fun while at it.

For me, the most important thing is that I can be sure of fair play and a high level of security. And if I run into difficulties or some problem, I could contact the round-the-clock professional support, which will immediately help me with all my problems. So before I start playing any online casino I check it out *snip* And only after I am sure that this is a safe online casino I will start playing. Recently, there are a lot of scammers, so you should be careful.

If it was me I'd be focused on withdrawal times in particular. Lots of casinos now offer very quick Visa Fast payments and Trustly. Any kind of pending period over 24 hours should be avoided. Requests for docs after a withdrawal is requested...RTP another one.

Instant withdrawals.. no more of anything else. Since i raised stakes all the "good" casinos turned rogue.. they all take the big deposits.. all fap on the thousands in losses but the second a withdrawal is requested they all stall payment.. request x-ray of me with their casino office in the background during an eclipse... In the past weeks they all refused to pay ALL ... i had to fight and pissed i was going to get a lawyer. ti was worth it when you lose 35-40k and had like 30k in withdrawals and they ALL refuse to pay... it become worth taking a lawyer and do a complete sweep. Of course when they realized i was god dam serious they .. paid. But many closed my accounts, bonus banned me .. or i simply.. just dont ever want to go there... Slow pay casinos are all cheaters now i can confirm you that.. if you play high stakes you will get robbed.

The only places that paid me withotu too much trouble.. were offering max daily cashout having me paid for weeks lol.. So who knew.. the bitcoin casinos used to be considered the shady dangerous ones.. now the instant payout btc sites are the only place in the world where i can play and get paid. And when you swing thousands.. you need to kow you are getting paid... never again i'll do what i diid.. and trust the "good" casinos.. they are all fraudsters with a false look of "good" casino. It's worrying when you lose like 10k on a casino then request 8k withdrawal and they refuse to pay you.. with your own money... Now.. if a casino what to see big deposits from me.. it has to pay instant.. nothing else.
