My Virgin Games Review
Hey all,
As Virgin Games is not in the accredited section of Casinomeister I thought I give you my thoughts about this casino.
I tend not to subscribe to any unaccredited casino's normally but Virgin Games was an exception to that rule as Virgin is a solid brand and that gave me some trust.
Also some CM members have played there and always had been paid so I gave them a go myself.
The casino website is very easy to navigate and signing up was done fairly quickly.
I was able to deposit right away without sending in any KYC documents.
Their selection of slots is very small but the ones they do have I like,so not a problem for now.
Amongst the selection there are some popular WMS, Netent and IGT titles.
I hope they add more slots in the near future,I think they need to do that as otherwise a lot of slot players will lose interest in this casino quickly.
They do have poker, bingo and a live casino option for Blackjack and Roulette if that is your thing.
Games run fairly smooth on their implemented Gamesys casino engine however there is a chat function that slows down games,especially Montezuma (WMS) gets very laggy for me when the FS trigger.
You can disable the chat but when you change slots you always have to switch the chat off again.
It does not save the switching off so this is a bit annoying.
Their t&c's are quite a long read and will leave that to our official t&c's king Dunover.
However I have read through most of it and there are a few vague terms in it like:
3.2. Maximum Winnings: We may set a maximum amount of winnings that you can win in any twenty four (24) hour period (excluding any Progressive Jackpot or super jackpot winnings). The current limit can be found in our FAQs here. This may change from time to time. If you exceed this limit in any twenty four (24) hour period, any Wagers made once the limit has been exceeded may (in our discretion) be rendered void, and your Wagers will be returned to your Member account without any winnings made on those Wagers.
So if you win more than they allow you to win they just can void those winnings.
17.11. Soft Play: We may withhold winnings and void Wagers if we suspect you of not playing your hand to its full potential in a multiplayer poker game or tournament with the express intention of helping another Member advance further in such multiplayer poker game or tournament.
Now for all the poker players amongst us (I love poker but mainly play real table games), above term is obviously very vague and I do not like that kind of terms at all.
How can any casino determine if you are soft playing.
I don't think this term should be there at all as it is just not viable to prove as many players have many different play styles.
Ok enough about their t&c's because like I said they are quite lenghty but I suppose this can also be seen as a good thing as they have everything clearly written out to their customers.
Nearly no room for discussion when an issue arises.
I managed to make a withdrawal last night and found out my account was locked for any withdrawals.
Of course,here comes the KYC procedure in place.
Didn't take me a long time as all I needed to send in was a copy of my drivers license (front and back) and a copy of a utility bill no older than 3 months.
Did upload those last night via live chat (very nice and friendly lady) and my account got fully KYC'd by this morning and my account was fully enabled.
Made my withdrawal and got paid 5 minutes after to my Skrill.
This is a nice little casino which reminds me of one of the first casino's I have ever registered for online (long before I joined CM)
This casino was Jackpotjoy,not sure if they are still around.
Mainly focussed on Bingo but with some slots available.
Anyway,long story short.
For an unaccredited casino they scored not too bad in my books.
Pro's:
* easy to navigate website
* quick KYC procedure
* 24h live chat
* fast withdrawals (based on my first WD which only took 5 minutes)
* staff seems nice (based on 2 chats I have had with them sofar)
* Big brand name
* V points for cashback
Cons:
* limited choice of slots (chat told me this will improve soon)
* limitation on winnings (excl. jackpots)
* not all countries are accepted - limited jurisdiction
All in all a casino that probably would pass to get accredited here if they wanted to.
Overall: 7/10
Surely a place where I will drop in from time to time.
