Official Videoslots presents Battle of Slots!

Read more about Videoslots in our in-depth review
What a total p**s take that is... (or someone trying to add smart marketing).

VS think tank: Let’s take one of the busiest free roll battles out that we reward players with.

I know we will replace it with a paid battle, try to convince people that they will win a bigger prize pool and, because they have come expecting to play a battle, will fall for it and actually pay for the honour...

More fool those who have fallen for it.
And shame on VS who are losing more loyal and long serving followers than ever I suspect.

Team VS, I suspect these decisions are completely beyond your control but really?

Are you not keen then? :eek2:

Got to point out that VS are saving over 300 euros replacing the 8.15 freeroll battle. On the latest figures
there are 220 players and the prize pools is around 1330 euros which is probably correct as each player
is charged a 1 euro entry fee.The player contribution is 1100 euros which means the added figure is
actually 230 euros. This is a lot less than the cost of the freeroll which could have been 600 euros
(or pounds) if it was a 20p 3000 one

£5 not £1

It would also appear that tomorrows 12.15 GMT freeroll has been replaced with a £450 added battle, looks like VS are reducing the number of freerolls offered whilst offering paid battles in their place ....

the viking 1EUR? shows now 401 here

He means the 5 € battle, the battle that replaced the Free Spin Battle. And I agree that the battle replacement is really bad.

But at least:

- Removed delay for not affected countries
- Battle of slots for mobile devices
- Increased timespan for qualification again a bit (SNG)

And the RTP is now reduced for German players, still no notification for German / Swedish players. I am really disappointed, why are we not worth enough to get the same information as the UK? They got at least something in the news.

Now I appreciate that Dan was a bit of a work a holic and therefore I don’t expect replies to comments on our amazing forum to be anywhere near as prompt but it seems that we rarely see any kind of response and if one ever doth appear all we get is the standard blanket answer.

Now some members speak of VS demise but the number of players registering for battles says otherwise so come on VS.

We have supported and backed you as our ‘champion’ casino. What’s with the sudden ‘speak to the hand’ approach?

Little feedback: I just checked your yesterdays 5e added-tournament. Total entries 258 and 30 prizes. So you have 11% chance to win something. That percent is totally low and I don't know about others but I'm not happy with this new prize sctructure system. Of course if you hit big you win big but how often that happens? Maybe never. Your old 20-25% prize range was much better in my opinion

@Team.Videoslots. Are the freerolls going to be phased out gradually and replaced with paid ones?

If that's the case then I won't be taking part, here's a screenshot of my last few battles, getting harder to place in any of them.

Hi Everyone,

The freerolls that normally started at 12:15 GMT and 20:15 GMT have been replaced by the fantastic new 450 EUR added buy-in battles. There are no plans at the moment to replace any other freerolls. As we mentioned yesterday we are trying out new exciting types of battles and will update you further about that later this week.

Best regards,
Team Videoslots.

Fantastic? Suppose that depends on your point of view. Something was free, now you have to pay for it.

Okay you removed two freerolls so there is only 10 freerolls every day. So if you work under "fair play", wagering to get an access should be 17% lower in future.
I was going to point that out but thought i would let someone else open the hornets nest

I would like to say thank you VS for including a Sit n Go for happy hour for Canadians to replace the NetEnt one on March 14th. But is it truly Canada only? I always thought that players from other jurisdictions where NetEnt was not available qualified too? In all fairness, I do hope it includes those players and Canada only is just a convenient term?

Netent might open Canada again at VS, they are looking into it atm. Its not confirmed but its likely to happen.

@Videoslots any news on my lost x2 and x3 weekend rewards spins for Playtech & Blueprint yet I have not received a response to this via email yet?

I had a 200 spin reward disappear about a week ago and they not been able to find out what happened to that either, even tho i sent a screenshot.

Seems a few things broke since the clash system..... :( Hopefully they will fix it soon

I see in battle screen some new sit n go's. First is named "round 1" and buy in is 0.50e. Game is carnival queen. Second is named "round 2" and buy in is 2.50e. Game is yeti. They both are bolded in yellow. So what are those?

@Team.Videoslots

I noticed on the news page for the upcoming Happy Hour Sit n Gos:

"Players can play more than one Sit & Go battle but not simultaneously. Each Battle will last 10 minutes."

I do not recall reading that term phrased exactly like that before. Will the software block that from happening? I was always able to only play one 10 man battle at a time, and one 30 man battle at a time, but I could join a 10 man battle if I was waiting for a 30 minute one to end (my play had ended, but not the tournament), and the previous 10 man tournament had ended, and vice versa.

I could also say join a thirty minute one while playing a 10 minute one, and then open in new tab when a tournment began. While I could not spin simultaneously in both, I would technically be playing in both.

Not complaining if it is a change from before, just hoping for clarification if the software does not prevent it.

It mean you cant play two 10-man battles at the same time. But you can play one 10 man and one 30 man.

That makes no sense to me.
Just looking at the whole load of 0/10 registered now.
So if only 2 get through to round 2, do the rest have to be filled by people buying in? Or when more round 1's are finished are the first 2 from there put in the same round 2? I can see round 5 taking ages to fill, like if I join now, round 5 might not fill till 4am, when I'm asleep so I will miss it, or am I reading it wrong?

Also

Round 3.
Buy-in: € 123.75
1st – 2nd place wins a buy-in for round 4.
5th place gets another chance in round 3.
6th – 10th place is eliminated.

Bit sickening if you come 3rd or 4th :D

So these battles would be limited to 10 players each round? Would there be as many tables as necessary to accommodate all players wanting to play. Will there be a minimum number of tables, or are all rounds guaranteed?

Will they earn rewards and cashback? How many spins will we get. If I am paying $500 (that's about what it would be for me) I don't want to play 100 spins @.20 cents, even if I get rewards.

Oh, and over what time frame will these be? Do you have to play all rounds to play next round?

I think you need some kind of real time beta testing. Of course with some kind of prize, but look how many thousands play a tournament for the chance at a few free spins.

Will they require any deposit or wagering minimums?

May I suggest you start a brand new thread asking for input?

My knee jerk reaction is no.

The last e100 buyin regular tournament I can find only had 6 players.

You at least need a news announcement and some kind of FAQ

Well I took part in the first one and finished 5th, so trying again to try and work out how the next round works lol. Do I get a prize for being one of the first 10 people ever to play this @Team.Videoslots , Gold wheel or something? :D

I'm going to presume you get a battle token for the next round so you can enter the next round when you want, not when you are told?

Fag packet maths warning:

You need 5 battles on each level to fill the next one, so level 1 is 5 battles required, level 2 is 25 (level 1) battles, level 3 is 125 battles, level 4 is 625 so to fill a level 5 battle with 10 players you need 3125 level 1 battles played?

edit: Okay not quite so many because more than 2players advance in rounds 3 and 4.
its 5*5*2.5*2 = 125 level 1 battles needed to fill one level 5 battle.

I think if it is taking many hours or days to fill a table, you will see a lot of people registering and then withdrawing, like maybe when they have to go to bed or work, Easter Holiday. I see tournament duration is only 30 minutes.

Starting tomorrow these SnG's will be seeded with players so there is always someone. But higher you get less action. But in some weeks it will probably be more action as people need to learn how they work. The idea is that you can buy in with €5.5 win 5 rounds and walk out with €2,750 (requires a lot of luck, but a fun concept in our view).

You have 30 days to use the ticket you win for the next level.
