Hi again @nikantw,

No, there will be 3x winners in total. Sorry for the confusion we have now updated the original post.

Best regards,
Team Videoslots.

Yes, no problem, just wanted to avoid confusion later.
I think the way you always had it "one from each day" was more clear. :)

All good now, thanks for the new comp and the upgrade of the prizes.

Well i have not got involved with commenting on all the recent changes whether it is the change in RTP or rewards etc.

But thought i would mention that this new xp has messed things up.

Out of curiosity since i am not qualified for battles as it tells me i have not wagered 500 xp in last fortnight I checked.

And from 22nd till today which is 12 days i have wagered £536.54 which is pounds not euros so would be even more. And i do not play high RTP slots most of that was Chilli and Carnival Queen yet i still have not wagered 500xp lol.

Okay not bothered anyway just thought i would mention the system is either not working right or people actually have to wager a lot more than they think.

You can try to register for a battle and it should show you how much xp you have earned. If you think something is wrong just contact Videoslots, maybe something went wrong.

Thanks i had tried and it does not tell me how much i have wagered only i have not wagered 500xp. Nothing else. But not worth the hassle contacting them i am not that bothered whether i can play them or not. Just bringing it to the attention that the system seems to be error prone as others have had same fault. Maybe i am wrong and i have not qualified but knowing how much i have wagered to the slots played i do not think so.

Okay lol i was wrong it did tell me how much i had wagered.

According to system i have deposited 113 and wagered 461xp. Must be in euros as i checked and my deposits are £98 in that time. And as i have wagered £534 then no way possible it can only be 461xp so the system is definitely not calculating correctly.

Hi @paul7388,

You can always reach out to us or our support and we can have a look at your account and see if there is anything wrong regarding the calculation of your XP points.

Br,
Team Videoslots

Thanks but i am not that bothered. Just thought i would mention that to me it seems wrong as i can not see how wagering £534 can be 461xp. Feel free to check your system if you wish as my account name is same as my name here . But was mainly informing that i think it must be calculating wrong by those figures.

But maybe i am wrong as i normally am in this life lol.

How do you see XP requirements?

Lucky this battle takes place within 2 weeks of last battle so won't need to spend if I don't have to.
It just shows up when not having met the criteria, like the old 'You need to have deposited 20 and wagered 200' drop-box. Other than that, I don't know. Like Paul, if it happens it happens kinda thing

Last Sunday I wasn't able to play two hourly battles as I was about 8xp below the 500xp but I had no idea how much I needed to spend, this must be resolved.

The spending varies now doesn't it, much to everyone's confusion.

Just be sure to have a calculator and handbook handy when next depositing!

Okay i solved the problem. Extra Chilli at other sites i use has an actual RTP of 96.1 to 96.8.

But VS have it as 96.8.

So basically even tho i play in pounds it will cost way more than £500 now to qualify if i play slots i like. Such is life.

Least i know now it is not even 500 euros. Not even £500. But probably £600 needed to wager for battles in a fortnight. Think i will pass lol.

Half a grand to qualify -

what's not to like :D

 exactly. Anyway you lot can play your 94% slots i will stick to 96.8 Chilli.

But seriously as every site i have checked it says between 96.1 and 96.8 and 96.8 is only achievable by feature buy yet VS has it at 96.8 exact for RTP of slot. Just do not think that is right way to declare RTP for game. Anyway such is life lol.

it says under extra chili on Vs site "The RTP without the Feature Drop option is of 96.41% - quite high – and improves slightly to 96.82% if you decide to use Feature Drop. "

I could be remembering this wrongly (which is possible ) but i thought Btg was one of those that has the rtp set so everywhere is the same ? (as opposed to say playngo that has a few different rtp versions).

pretty sure youre correct btg stated they only have the one rtp offering

They do they have stated it is between 96.1 and 96.4 for normal game and between 96.1 up to 96.82 for feature buy. So they only have one choice just it is just not an exact amount.

Most sites state those figures VS just seems to have just used the highest bit and skipped the in between. But least i know why i never qualified lol.

And to show you how it matters for xp.

The starting point it pays from 96.1 is 97.5 % for xp. The highest value incorporating feature buy is 96.8 which only contributes 80%.

So if you play the slot the highest RTP is 96.4 which should give more than 80% as the 96.8 RTP is only from feature buying.

Anyway things like this that show how complicated the xp system is. They should have just banned slots at like 98% or higher from qualifying as lets face it noone would be playing slots like chilli to grind out qualification.

Hi everyone,

We are happy to announce that the Battle of Slots chat is now back but with a small improvement. Many of you here have requested that you want to be able to close the chat if needed and this has now been implemented.
However, we notice an issue today that you need to type 1 word for the chat to activate. We are fixing this now so as soon as you click the chat it opens.
Reason for the chat was down was due to it didn't work with the mobile page. Some message was missing on the mobile/desktop. So when we fixed the chat we also upgrade it accordingly with the request we got that some wish to have it closed.

Br,
Team Videoslots

About the changes in wagering, I made a list that was surprising even for me.
I hope this will satisfy and be useful to everybody.

RTP: The theoretical RTP of a game as listed in the VS page.
WC: Wagering Contribution of that game.
WR: Wagering Requirement (in euros) for the battles if you only play that game.
Cost: What you will lose in order to complete the WR, if your RTP is exactly the same as the theoretical.

upload_2019-3-7_1-25-40.webp

Surprise surprise! The cost is exactly the same! The theoretical cost anyway.
It all comes down to the actual RTP of the session. If you have bad luck the cost will be huge.

The above list can also be read backwards. You can see how much wagering / playtime you can have with a 20 deposit, depending on the RTP of your session.

Yes nice list and sure useful. But more useful would be simple xp-calculator in game history where you can sort days and see how much points you've earned in a certain time period. Do we ever get it, videoslots? It's not enough that you have some xp-information in battle pop-up screen just for players who do not have the right to participate battles.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for all the feedback and suggestions, we just want to point that we are reading everything and making sure that the relevant departments are informed.

A small update regarding the 3-second delay between spins, starting from the middle of next week the 3 seconds delay will only happen for the regulated markets where it's a requirement.

Best regards,
Team Videoslots.

Just a friendly question @Team.Videoslots.

What constitutes "middle of next week"? It seems that PnG battles are still served as jurisdiction=SE, with a wonderful reduced RTP and spin delay.

Is the reduced RTP in battles a permanent solution btw?

A question about the new xp v old xp. So im on lvl 20 and to get to lvl 21 its = 210000 XP.
So i play on slots that have 96,5% RTP that give 0,9 WC.

So with the new system i need to wager more (with 96+%) to hit the 210000 xp then i would with the old system?

Hey Guys,

@ternur the lowered RTP in the battles is permanent as it is meant to keep the battles equal to everyone. We are looking for a solution for the spin delay and will keep you updated.

@spiker1977 If you choose a game with RTP over 96% you will need to wager a bit more but if you choose one with lower RTP than 96% you get to wager less.

Best regards,
Team Videoslots.

Tack så mycket

May I ask why you choose the lower RTP setting for everyone in the first place? It's a good thing that the setting is same for everyone, but since the battles are not played with real funds, why didn't you leave RTP settings as they were? (Just curious)
