Official Videoslots presents Battle of Slots!

FYI the three second rule is something that shows up in various jurisdictions (Italy, Alderney, Sweden (Denmark?)). Based on research on gambling addiction the feedback loop from placing bets and receiving reward is more 'problematic' (i.e. enjoyable, prone to addiction...) when the loop is short.

Longer loops like offline scratchtickets or (non live) sportsbetting are less problematic.

To combat some indicative addiction enablers jurisdictions impose the rule.

Personally, I get it. Doing these 'hold space bar to spin quick' are very close to this blitz mode, and both make it hard to control my spend + get me to chase just money, I am no longer enjoying/playing the game.

Hi there @steveh35,

Just like @BosjeR just said, if two players get the same score the player who finished his spins first will be the winner of the two.

Best regards,
Team Videoslots.
A bit unfair if you have a slower internet connection or other people can get into battles quicker or choose to fast spin but it is what it is.

Has this changed?

Pretty sure I remember a post from you saying it was the one who got the highest win from a single spin who got it but that might be my old age creeping in :D

Hi again Guys,

I think old age is creeping in here as well, I answered how it used to be but you are correct, now days it works as follows:

What happens if two players finish with the same score?
The winner will then be the player with the biggest win from a single spin. Should two players end it with the same score and the same big win, the winner who reaches their score first will take the ultimate prize.

Best regards,
Team Videoslots.

Will anyone of us see scores like that from using the rewards?

Probably not, especially seeming the RTP has been reduced by 2% :P :(

Hmmm, have you saw his name in first place?

Average rewards is only 2 per hour today :( Not good :( oh well........

Well its day two of the weekend, and im upto 92 rewards , no idea what that is in spins, but i seem to have a lot of first or second places.

Said to myself if i can reach 100 rewards this weekend ill be happy, so anything above that is great. Maybe another story come playing them!

Wow congratz lol, I've just scraped up to 30 lol :o

Its showing up in Canada too, because I can see it clearly on my end.

lol to be fair, i played an hour after they started, and made 4 rewards. Got up again 3 hours later and played for around 4 hours only getting to 14 rewards. Through
the day yesterday was very slow going , getting to around 20 mid-afternoon. From there until mid-evening it just went crazy and I was getting a reward almost every battle!

Finished before midnight on 67 but upto 92 now its been fairly steady today so far. Gonna be interesting what these make anyway later tonight!

Who knows? Who cares? Peace at last, great isn't it? Do not fix it... please..

I never said I wanted it to be fixed I was merely asking what happened to it. Yep it sure is peaceful....... To be honest. I reckon it was not broken anyway. I reckon it was because they reduced the RTP for some countries on some slot providers. So I reckon it was more to do with that they did not want people to spam the battle chats complaining about it and also letting soo many more people know about it. So I think it was more a tactical move. Too much of a coincidence for it not to be the reason... :P

Well what does any company do in a PR disaster crisis.....maintain a background presence until the hysteria's over.

In a couple of months it'll be accepted, normalized, and just 'the way it is'. Won't stop anything in the long-term

What I thought about last night (only briefly) is that there are other ways they can maintain their healthy business without aiming EVERY cutback at the player, which is the story so far.

Affiliates, Staffing levels, advertising, there are plenty of options without destroying their bread winners at the same time.
