Official Videoslots presents Battle of Slots!

Yeah, last i knew, they dont refund any battle registration money - either accidentally registered or otherwise. Ive accidentally registered for a battle in the past twice (i only ever play freeroll battles) as id been caught out with the
lobby not updating quick enough and id accidentally registered for a paid battle. Either way, I couldn't get my money back so i just accepted it and moved on (which at the time I only had a few quid left in my balance and my little
accident cost me a few quid).

Although i also play some battles through my phones chrome browser, and most work perfectly fine as we know - last i knew was they dont officially support battles through mobile devices (even though they work for the most part).

Is annoying to lose a few quid on it though, but I wouldn't let it spoil your day or how your feeling (health stuff etc - i read in your other post). :)

To be fair , it was sorted and they gave me a battle voucher back after had a good whinge in here .

Since Canadians can no longer play Thunderkick, could you please add Canadian Battles in those slots. We already have to pay more to receive less, and miss out on a lot of extra free rolls like the ones from Netent on now, plus the fabulous CM contests. In the past, a lot of the free roll weekends were Thunderkick as well.
i just played the thunderkick battle
though, otherwise, i agree about making battles less everyone-else-centric

I've followed the VS thread, long, long before I ever came aboard due to things like silly requests like still asking for ages old disposable prepaid CCs that have no bearing on current WDs, that would be 'looked into' but hasn't changed, but as of late it's progessed to matters such as members pointing out time discrepancies in battles, contests that exclude jurisdictions you accept but don't qualify for contests due to region or disallowed games, weekend battles that exclude players, making changes to trophies and rewards, failing to inform members of major changes like dropped software, cancelling (or not informing) players of expected weekend SNGs prior to qualifying deposits, and a myriad of other things I simply can't be bothered to look back upon/for (and I shan't even touch the fine as it was addressed elsewhere)

But there is one consistent thing as of late: stock responses

I came aboard because I was swayed by positive responses and experiences from members from somewhere I've strictly deposited at for 5 years (AND suggested others to join). I found yes, VS is (was?) extremelly generous with their rewards systems (note: for low rollers) and that simply, Dan was THE man, forever on line and ready with a response, pm and explanation. And I appreciate a team is (trying to?) fill his rather large shoes.

Can that status change?
Absolutely.
Please, kindly, don't become one of 'those' casinos (we've been there, it happens....too much) and recognize players CAN be devout....but devotion involves faith..and faith can be broken.
I cast last year's best casino vote for VS IRRESPECTIVE of the fact I didnt even play there.

I HAVE faith. I pray that faith won't come to be misguided.:thumbsup:

to be fair to team videoslots...dan the man had team videoslots helping him and taking over for him here at cm...so they don't really have big shoes to fill...cuz they were part of dan's team...except dan never said anything....

Got this one last night (Wednesday 5th). It's my first time ever winning spins from this particaular type of freeroll (The none SnG ones).

5 scatter trigger give me a start of 30 spins, I had another 10 spin retrigger for a total of 40 spins which paid this absolute dung. (In my opinion this is dung)

I may very well be wrong (as Ive been before :P ) - I was under the impression it was Dan - with the odd stepping-in in his absence, but by and large, Dan....and that the team was back-up and in-training, so to speak.
To me, at least, it was apparent by his posting style and familiarity, and that lack thereof was the initial tip-off to members.

Any chance we could have an option of turning off the chat in the Battles? There's one new regular who is ridiculously annoying, especially for those like me, who just want to get on with spinning and winning nothing.

Nothing worse than being rubbish at the Battles and also having to read a load of old tosh without an option to mute/turn it off :/

Unfortunately, there is not a solution for this right now, except putting a chat ban on the account. This would completely remove the chat window while playing.

Should this player have behaved badly or if he or she is offensive, please let us know and we will take a look.

Is there any way you can chat ban yourself deliberately ? (by requesting it maybe?) that would stop you seeing chat wouldnt it? :laugh:
 
I fought tooth and nail for a year concerning the Canadian battles. Got permanently banned from chat, jumped on out here, told that it will happen only to be told that it wouldnt be. Nothing will change. It's that simple :)

If you play on desktop, just shrink the window and move it so chat offscreen, simple solution if it does your head in that much!!! ;)

"OMG it says the game won't load"

"Press the padlock"

"This game is shite"

"10 bonuses and all paid 3p"

"I hate the Battles, and every game is always rigged"

and those were the good bits
 
Are people really complaining over *jackpot* in the chat? he/she obviously enjoys playing and competing in the battles and at least spreads a bit of cheer over the usual moany lot in the battle chat, the people who give him abuse daily should be banned not him. If it bothers you that much just don't read the chat?

yeah, was saying that he/she is cracking me up everytime with the love for VS.
but if others are really so disturbed by this they should close the chat for sure.
 
You can't close the chat - thats the problem some are having that don't care much for chat.

Personally, i dont care for chat - but it also doesn't bother me too much. Id prefer to hide it if possible because its there, but you can't unless your banned.

When you are banned you can still read / see the chat but not post anything in it. I was banned 7 days few month ago.

Ah i see. It was vs that said a chat ban would hide/remove chat - but sounds like that's not the case then.

Ill just have to divert my eyes in the future! Maybe why i like the sng's more cause no one talks in those with them being brief. :laugh:
