Hi all,

We have added two new exciting features to Battle of Slots.

The first new feature is that you will now get an option to choose if you want to use a Battle ticket or not when you register to a Battle. So it will now be easier to choose and see if you use your Battle ticket to enter the Battle.

The second feature is that you now can choose a Battle Alias when you open Battle of Slots. The Battle alias you choose can maximum be 8 characters and it can’t be the same as your username or an Alias that someone else are using.

I am getting bloody annoyed to say the least, Deposit & play to qualify for the free battles only only to be filled up in seconds up to max 90 players so cannot register. If thats the case and system cannot handle more than 90 players than have 2-3 rooms for same battle,

I do love the idea but come on be fair to all

I hear you mate, missed out on a few as well.

But nothing to get annoyed about, you have to be on your toes, especially for the 250 and 500FS battles. Shows how popular they are. The 500FS battle is mostly full within 1 minute.

Today i logged in and waited for the registration to start, so hit the button within seconds. By the time my registration was confirmed the battle was close to full.

After a few weeks of trying i have won my first battle - 25FS on JH2  :D

Introducing Thunderkick games in Battle of Slots!

i9zx7rzjm7.webp

Hi Everyone,

I have some fantastic news for you all. Battle of Slots have proven to be a genuinely appreciated feature on Videoslots and we feel that it is high time to add some new games from another game provider.

Starting tonight we are introducing Thunderkick games in our Battle of Slots. At 22:15 GMT today (8th January) the first Thunderkick battle will start in the game Fruit Warp. And I know you won’t be disappointed when I tell you that there are 1,000 Free Spins up for grabs in this Battle.

Tomorrow (9th January) this is the schedule:

08:15 GMT Battle with 500 Free Spins up for grabs.
22:15 GMT Battle with 1,000 Free Spins up for grabs.

To be able to register for these you need to have wagered €500 in the last 7 days and made a deposit of no less than €20.

Also, we are launching real money Battles in about one weeks time.

Best regards,

Philip

Hi Rob,

Those are the same requirements as before to enter battles. We didn't change it for these new battles in our Thunderkick games.

Best regards,

Philip

Just played the most annoying slot going - singing Mexican sculls 0.10 a spin in the battle. The minute you hit 1.5 or over it is a bleeding big win :eek2:

That is one good thing about these battles - you can avoid playing this kind of slot for real money!

On an another note, here is a question for Philip, Dan or Mr Wild (who I am guessing works for them too?) - are you planning at some point in the future to make the battle of slots work on Internet Explorer?

I played battle of slots alot already and its great, but today something strange happened at videoslots....again!
I registered for 5euro Battle with 1 rebuy 5 minutes before the late registration ended.
After the first 80 spins I couldnt do my rebuy....why?because the late registration ended?
Asked on livechat About it and they told me it was normal, too give everybody a fair chance too finish their spins on time!?ehm what?
If someone can explain it that would be great, for me its another 5€ thrown away.

i've said this too at one point. if you think outside this experience is normal to be like this. late registration is 2 hours or so long which is more than enough for a rebuy. after that i know that prizepool is fixed and the outcome is certain. some choose to play the rebuy(done before late-reg end) in last minutes for a better view of how much is needed to outrun the players above while they can invoke T2 Gods. if you are too late then you can better wait for the next one, the frequency was increased as of late. so yeah, new entries or more spins must stop together with late-reg, nobody likes out of nowhere surprises in last minute.

Battle of Slots - registration criteria

I said this in a different post already but today it happened the first time to me since i started taking part in the battles.

Here's the story:

- January 2016 - total deposits at VS - 1200$
- last larger deposit - 8th Jan 2016 / 200$
- multiple smaller ones - since 8th Jan
- last deposit - 19th Jan 2016 / 30$

However, today when i tried to register for a battle i got the usual error message:

You do not fulfill the limit requirements for this Battle, you need to have deposited EUR 20.00 and wagered EUR 500.00 in the last 7 days.

In my view this is not totally fair to a regular player who deposits on average 2K every month but rather does so in waves then on a daily basis. E.g. January i deposited 800$ in one day, that should certainly qualify me to be eligible for all free battles during the month.

I think VS should review their criteria for the registration as it potentially penalizes regular players. According to the current rules a player depositing 4 x 20$ = 80$ and doing the required wagering can take part in all battles for the month. Yet a player depositing 1.2K in less than 2 weeks and wagering >$5000 with that but not wagering 500$ in the past 7 days gets excluded.

Just my 2 cents :o

Hi Paultje82,

In the lobby of each battle you can see for how long you can make a rebuy. So if you are unsure you can just enter the lobby of the Battle you want to play and there it is.

@ Harry_BKK. Thanks for the feedback. I will speak to my colleagues and see if there is anything we can do.

Best regards,

Philip

agree there Harry
ive deposit $900 this month, and get the same message, last deposit 18 th $94, and i dont qualify in December i deposit around $3500 :)

In total agreement Harry & Viking. I have also commented on this as there are times when I cannot get around to playing for a couple of days and then I need to requalify again. It ends up being a game -- you withdraw and then redeposit. Anyway, I am finding it not worthwhile to participate in these battles anymore. Too many people are allowed in and it is quite difficult to win anything. VS has done the fair thing though as it was quite difficult previously to register for the main battle. You had to register for the battles within seconds of it opening.

Yes they have become less attractive with 200 fighting over same prize spins.... Especially the 3/200 chance for a 5Euro ticket. However they are free so can't complain I guess :)

I am now less inclined to meet wager requirements than before and my focus has switched to the pay tournies.

Downside is I'm back to the highly volatile Immortal Romance where it's quite easy to be a couple of hundred down just to qualify :p

My love for Battle of Slots remains - just more selective on bothering with the frees :)

You can forfeit the active bonus and play free-roll, happened to me before, even though I finished the bonus it still said it was active. Go to my bonuses and forfeit active bonus. :)

Unfortunately the bonus is too good to be forfeited. Looks like I will have to wait until I hopefully complete the bonus before playing the free roll battles again.

I think I am going to give up on the free roll battles. Can't hit a bonus round on any of the games (the only chance of getting to the top of the pile) for love or money!!

I remember I felt just 90 people was too little because the tournaments was full immediately. The difference was it was possible to win something if you made it in time.
Now they take 500 people:eek2:

Hi alfran,

It is possible to wager 500 with a deposit of that amount for sure. Just wishing you better luck :)

Best regards.

Philip

Of course it's possible. It's just sad that it's the lucky ones who are rewarded just for being lucky, even though they haven't paid more. In fact maybe even less than the one who lost and not wagered enough.

I assume it's a way of preventing people from cashing out their deposit and then still play the freerolls. Just thought I would write that so people understand why you ask for a certain amount to be wagered.

@ Alfran remember that it's just 200 that needs to be wagered for some tournaments. I found out that the hard way.

I managed to make it through. I was only tough because i had just joined and starting from 0.... once you get flowing/going i think its easier. I think i made abt 70eur total deposits over 3 days initially before i was able to complete the 500 mark .... yea a bad streak initially. Enjoying the tourneys now!

Could I ask if you would consider the notification when advising you the outcome of the battle:

You won 160th prize in 250 Freespins - Freezeout, great!

There is no prize and no, it isn't that great!!!

Perhaps change it to something like:

You ended 160th position in 250 Freespins - Freezeout, better luck next time!

Deposited about £50 last 7 days still not eligible for freerolls......

Im not sue whats worse the fact need to wager £500 or fact £50 worth of deposits haven't generated £500 worth of play

I believe you only need to have wagered £200 for some freerolls. At least the one 18.15.
Don't know if there are any other as I haven't checked.

How come the prize money for 1st price keeps dropping as the battle progresses? I entered the Secret Code 5euro battle and it dropped from over 100euro to 90euro just now? It surely should go up as more players participate?

The tournaments have a guaranteed pot. If only say 8 players the top 2 share. As more players join then its always around 20% of players winning so funds spread further.

Once the entry fees equate to the guaranteed pot then the fund will increase but "house" always keeps 20% of entry cost with 80% added to pot.

This may seem a high house profit but you need to remember you are still earning cash back, race spins and trophies which lessens that house edge considerably.

Thanks for that explanation. Not complaining as such as the "Profit" is still pretty good. Was just curious why it changed mid way through the battle.

I have noticed this b4, Lets say you buy in and

prize
1st 60%
2nd 25%
3rd15%

You buy in thinking if I get a good hit I be walking away with 60% of the pot but look later and top prize has droped to like 45%, So in away its not really right as you bought for a good chance to win 60% of the pot not 45%,

In another way its good if you come 4th or 5th as there will be a prize for them spots now, Also before somebody jumps in, I know 45% can actually be more than the origanal 60% as when people buy in the prize pool goes up, BUT I have yet to see the top prize actually rise,

Not sure if it is by design or an error, but I can't play the free-roll battles because I have an active bonus :what:

Hi,

Mina said this in response to you:

"You can forfeit the active bonus and play free-roll, happened to me before, even though I finished the bonus it still said it was active. Go to my bonuses and forfeit active bonus. "

She is correct, but let me expand a little further, as I think you may interpret what she said as giving up say a €5 or €10 battle ticket.

When you get freespins on Videoslots and activate them, that counts as an active bonus.

If you win with those 5 or whatever spins. Then great. It will have no effect on you when you try and register for the freerolls.

BUT and it is a big but and somewhat of a glitch on Videoslots.

If you activate 5 freepins and win absolutely nothing from them, then when you try and register for a freeroll, it tells you you have an active bonus.

That is when you need to go to you bonus lobby and forfeit the "active" 5 freespin bonus. You don't need to forfeit unused tickets

I don't know why this happens but it does ;)

I hope that makes sense. I had to find this out myself.

Hi Philip or Dan.

Just wondering if we could have an option whereby we can change out BOTS alias names, say from the profile lobby.

As I have noticed a few users using their casinomeister names and thought to myself, why didn't I do that?

Just a suggestion

Hi Chipkin9,

Players will be able to change their Battles Alias by them self in the future. But I help you change your Battle Alias if you want to. Just Pm me your username and the new Battle Alias you would like to have.
