Deeper Money Bass and Gates of Olympus for Battle Weekend. Expecting nothing but dead spins with those slots like usual.

I was hoping being stupid that as they've reduced the hours drastically BUT split them over 3 days, that maybe, just maybe we'd get a game change per day Fri/Sat/Sun to add some variation.

I do have some silly thoughts :o

If you read the small print they made an extra cut to 30 mans,

1719033621449.webp

Sneaky. So 15man is still only 3 places and 30man is now 6 places. So this means you will be lucky to win 1 or 2 rewards an hour given the 12minutes between battles too oh and not forgetting on shit slots.

I will not be taking part in this one. 100% not worth it.

So 9 hours will get you average of 18spins X 3 days if you do all 27 hours. will be 54 rewards. You might get lucky and win some extra but the average will always come to around 2 per hour with the above places adjustment.

So yeah cuts cuts cuts. The battle weekend is now 100% not worth it and it is not even called a battle weekend anymore. Might as well just not run it at all.

Can't wait to compare Old Vs New.

Played roughly 20h over the 2 days previously and would usually end up with, on average 100 rewards for anything between £30 and £70 upon redeeming depending what the games were.

This time around I'm sadly confident it won't be anything even remotely close to this.

The cynic in me tells me that spreading it over an extra day is an attempt to get certain types of player (those who can't save them) to redeem daily thus standing less chance of building a withdrawable balance.

With the old setup, if you played actively, my averages were about 5 rewards per hour if there were no queues.

It often felt like the battles slowed down in the evenings for some reason, more non-spinners or something. But in the long run, reward amounts have never been about luck. When you have played hundreds of battle weekends, it is easy to understand the average

Even in one normal battle weekend, you get to play hundreds of battles and then your luck also balances out. In the end, the essence of everything is how many battles can be played per hour and what is the player's theoretical chance of winning a prize.

Might just be best to drop the battles from VS at all ? to many divided opinions about them right now ?
and rightly so they have gone from being well worth it to next to nothing.
i hardly play any battles sometimes the tuesday one when i remember :)
i dont play at VS because of the battles its the fast cashout and support that keeps me there.
but if thos battles are going to affect that then drop them. dop the battles and just fix the wheel of jackpots to something worth spinning and its all good.
well thats my opinion anyway :)

If there were no requirements for these, I could say the same. But 1000xp points per month, then you can talk about battles as cashback. They are not free
You forget he is Swedish tho. Unless it has been another recent change then Swedish players do not need to wager any XP to make battles. They have not needed to since their countries gambling laws changed.

I wasn't even referring to the Tuesday boosted battles though, I just meant the regular scheduled ones. Entry fee of €1-€50 with no house edge, all the money goes into the prize pool.

Been discussing things in depth with my project manager since these cuts began.

We've decided that the best way forward for both the business and customer retention is to completely scrap cash back BUT have a really high value SnG promotion running 7 evenings a week from 6pm - 10pm.

Hope no one moans about this but we know they probably will, including me.

*Very bored and heat is getting to me :o :o

Its really crazy that not more people are playing them when RTP is 100%+.
it's really crazy that the casino still requires a 1000xp collection to enter even though the prize money has already been cut by 66%

I would still participate every Tuesday, remove the limits or cut them in the same proportion as money has been cut from promotions. Let's say 400xp per month sounds like fair game in the current mood

I dont see the benefit of that for us or our main stream customers, if we would lower it, you would have 5+ times more players joining. Which will mean 5+ times more queues and 5+ times less chances of winning anything. It would only benefit bonus hunters.
I have hard time seeing any casino atm offering such a great deal as we are even with our cuts in BOS. You might find a few that offer 96% rtp still, but they dont have any promotions, with our promotions we offer 96%+ rtp as a full concept. And if RTP is the only thing that matters, we also offer 100%+ RTP in buyin battles.

@Team.Videoslots was gonna have a look at the new btg game fizzy penny slot , and the game never loads - just sits on zero percent loaded. Tried a couple other games that come under the light and wonder loader, and they work fine.
Hello @spoo42

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we are looking into the issue now.

Just an idea but could the Prize Pool be increased in Tue Madness by charging €2 entry fee instead of €1.

Sure some would moan but I don't think most would if there is a better chance of a prize, even if it's just €10-€12 for a bit of play time?
Well, yes - i'd be quite happy to pay 2/5/10 for a once a week battle if it meant better returns if you got lucky.

Agree with your earlier comments - the whole 'reward' system just needs taken down and looked at again, rather than offering £25 battle tickets. I guess it comes down to do you remember the days of 2015/16 - to those that have just come into the arena, it probably looks ok to them but not to those who've been with VS from the start.

It is what it is i guess :p

To be honest, 1000xp to qualify for battle freerolls and such and such is fuck all. I don't see how people can complain and keep a straight face when it's as low as that. If anything, VS should be putting it back up to 2500xp for the premium promotions like BoS, just to keep the riff-raff out.

What are the Battles like on other sites by the way? Any I should be taking a look at? Anyone...?
''By crikey you'll get some bites with that post Lemon, my goodness...''

The 1000xp is probably the issue - i don't know why they dropped it or why they even send battle tickets out anymore. -better off with a harder to get achievement and have better rewards

I don't think it's unreasonable for people who have previously played there to comment on the drop - i mean, we cry over Mars bars not being as big as they used to be :p

But it does matter, Mr Lemon :p - personally, i put money in VS to get battle access (i never get the tickets) but now, with seeing the drop, not so much bothered - and given it costs more to attract someone, rather than retain, it's pertinent.

Not the battles, but if i play and deposit at Bally i get the weekly games which give 20 quid on average a week: 80 a month. 3 or so random cash boxes, say another 80 and an end of the month game which is 50 - so, about 210 without a ball being kicked if u play often - not battles but takes 1/30th of the time :p

I don't like to talk about other casinos in a thread that isn't relevant to it, but well, I will make an exception.

    • Other random offers through the week.

We can all give ideas on what they should or shouldnt do.

But do you think there going to listen or act on any of it?

No.

There gonna keep cutting and cutting costs as much as they can because there a business.

Having experienced the new 15 man battles with less battles and less time for the battles,

There is just no point in freerolls anymore imo.

Unless you want to spend 4 hours clicking to earn 7 rewards at the end of the night, to then lose the £1.74 from the 7 rewards you spent 4 hours to earn only to lose it on Dead or alive within a few minutes.

So you spent 4 hours registering for battles to earn a couple minutes of slotting.
That's how it's been in my experience most of the time anyway.

Yay that was worth it, can't wait for Thursdays battle!!!

No.

May as well scrap it all together as its so shit now, which I'm sure the longrun plan is eventually get rid of it all together.

Mr Vegas was great at the start as well - before the players came along and they themselves started shaving it all off the top - you could do the £10 re-buys and at least be getting money back - the halcyon days :p

I suppose in a free market society - just go play elsewhere if it annoys/disappoints you - personally, getting 500% RTP for a £1 ticket or 1O FS doesn't get the loins juicy :p

We can try this for sure. Probably last week of July. There was discussions to increase it to €5. But maybe its too high?

Its a bit hard to compete against an unlicensed brand such as Gamdom. In reality their offering really is bad compared to that they pay 0% tax and we pay average 24% tax on the Gross.

Compared to other regulated companies that do pay taxes and follow regulations regardless if you like them or not, our offering is in the top.
We are launching a new offering via weekly emails soon. It will be connected with a deposit. Make sure to accept our promotional emails if you wish to start taking part of it. First email is planned to be sent on MRV on Wed and we are sending out once a week there are 12 different deals that are picked randomly each week.

I know folk have different ideas and budgets etc so not all will cut equally, but i wouldn't have a problem with a fiver for a once a week event.

I'm not saying you have to compete with Gamdom, but you should play on your own market.
Plently of people already said over and over that the current offers are meaningless and should be removed.

Really, look at this and tell me what's the point of having 250 - 500 FS battles.
1719479234890.webp

Not many people enroll on them because they are completely nonsense.
Scrap those away and merge them into one, it's better to have more quality than quantity.

The same goes to the current state of SnG, they are just a waste of time, certainly most of people agree that the prize structure should increase and the battle times decrease, but once again, we are having more quantity and less quality.

Cheers

Maybe too high for now. A lot of low rollers like be tend to deposit €20/15/10 so €5 would be a large portion of their deposit.

How about maybe doing three weeks where the buy in is €2 (with increased prizes) and then the final week of the month doing the €5 idea with either increased prizes or a larger distribution of actual prizes, I know for me personally, If I bought in for €5 and won a €20-€25 prize for placing I'd still be quite happy with that.

Could do the €2 ones on a normal week and the €5 one the same Tue of the week that the BW falls into?

Well, that's the problem - if they took the 4 £25 and put into one £100, from an optics point of view, it's more appealing (not great compared to previous but needs must apparently) - it would mean less battles but better rewards - the 250 spins are pointless and i'm pretty sure the uptake must be lower; i know when i see £25 freerolls i don't even bother registering. Yes they're free...but not really :p
