I don't mind this change in battle weekend times, 3 evenings of what, 8 hours compared to the full weekend. Usually Id only play around 10 hours through a battle weekend day anyway. The issue is still the battle changes themselves, the amount of times ive had a really good score and still ended up outside the top 6 , and the extra players in 15 man (with still old 10 man prizes), is making it much more difficult.

I played 4 hours Thursday for 12 rewards, then 7 hours last night for 12 rewards. Assuming next two nights are similar, over the 4 nights ill have roughly half a regular battle weekends amount of rewards. I mean, it is what it is and all that, but with these two games, im not expecting much at all.

Yeah i think mr wild first mentioned the sonic spins a few weeks ago being in (im assuming) new raw games from here onwards. still doesn't help that one non spinner that *still* sits in nearly every battle, dragging the full time out of a battle.

Don't mind the new time set up either, though I'd prefer say a 2pm start rather than running on past my bed time.

Just, as you say wished they'd still paid 30% places, so tough to get a prize now and sadly this is why they did it.

I think the savings / cuts they required to do could still have been done by leaving the prize structure alone and just reducing to 24h BW rather than 48. Same with SnG just do 2-3 hours instead of 4.

Would love to know what effect the reduced battles and reduced battle weekend is having on overall revenue at VS, I’m sure the lack of rewards and the fact that you still have to wager the 1000XP has made a lot of players considering whether they want to keep investing time and money to keep qualifying.
And would be interesting to see how much they have saved from paying out free spins from the battles, they must have saved a fortune.

I would save my rewards Sat / Sun to about 100ish and go to bed, playing only waking hours and sleep more of the BW than play. Redeem Monday following BW and usually get between £30 and £80 total return.

The current BW isn't a promotion or loyalty reward, it's basically a chore.
The same goes for Thursday battles.

ATM the only real "promotions" are the weekly booster and the clash of spins and maybe the scheduled battles, which with the current setup the majority of them are pointless.

This bit, agree 100% and cant understand how it can help their player retention when it has been so downgraded from what it was.
Battles have been on the downturn for the last few months with the cuts they were making, but the latest changes have obliterated the chances for at least a third of their players to get a bit of extra play time.
I would be really interested if @Mr Wild can come on and tell us whether this has been a success or have players stopped playing during the battles, and how it has impacted on player retention.
As much as I am pained to say it, All British is a far better prospect now with the 10% cashback on all losses, at least you are guaranteed something back, rather than potentially playing for hours for literally a few pence.

Now that you mention it, it's pretty poorly done by them to both decrease the amount of time as well as lower the chance of winning prizes. All other sit n go events have the same amount of time? The preferred choice would be lower the time but have the old prize structure like you said.

Had 5 scatters 3 times on that raw fish game in the battles and these were the results...

2 1500x
3 20x

In reality though i would expect number 3 is what your more likely to be paid if your ever so lucky to hit this with the actual rewards

I hit 3 scatters once from all my spins I redeemed and it did pay 20x. Just to also rub further salt in to the wounds.

I cant really answer your question from a specific memory, but oddly enough i don't recall them breaking free in this one (though its possible, i cant say for sure).

I had a really big multiplier in the last week on this on one of the few times I watched the bonus, and it was a mine rising in the background blowing up and collecting lots of fish for multipliers - did it twice actually.

If I achieve the xp then fine, but its certainly not worth chasing any more, that is more then obvious with this new nerfed format.

Yeh im with you on this been playing for 5 hrs had 3 rewards on the raw game for a grand total of 0.24p and 0 rewards on gates.

It's time to call It a day on playing for the xp il still deposit on videoslots now and again but not bothering about the xp.

No chance. The reduced RTP is the new norm at their casinos as well as 90%+ of their competitors so they logically wouldn't need to do this.

Partial wishful thinking but if more players are bailing out than they anticipated there may be more changes in the future, not a total reverting to the good old days of battles but certainly an improvement than their current awful state.

never personally had a sow there no, but some people do as evidenced by the various posts here about it, I have spoken to them about my playing habits though and that seems to have been enough, and yes all cashouts are instant, the only annoyance is the lack of games, they dont take on every new game release.

I have no idea how many scatters the battle bonuses are since im too lazy to watch them play out, only watched that 1600x+ one because i wanted to see what the bonus did to get to that number.
It seems to land the bonus somewhat often, but at least based on my personal experience getting a 50x+ bonus is rare, its almost exclusively 10-30x bonuses.

Edit: Gates on the other hand seems to never land the bonus, i have had 2 bonuses total from the battles i have played. Both around 50x. I know its a high volatile game but damn....

No bonuses on either game Fri or Sat.

Fish game bonused several times tonight, not always giving a reward. Gates game bonused first spin of first battle tonight and nothing since.

Surprisingly won £9.30 from last nights 12 rewards, basically pointless (again lol ) as it gave pretty much the deadest 100 spins you've ever witnessed and bust out in under 10 minutes.

Biggest let down will come tomorrow afternoon where usually I'd settle down to redeem 100+ rewards and there will be nothing there.

Would be nice to be able to do it as soon as they become available, so that you can sign up for all of them and then play them when you get home from work, and still have a chance at getting the joker. This is fair enough and very generous, a lot more than most casinos give out, not to mention wager free.

However please take a look at this from the (loyal and regular) players perspective and not just the casinos side of things.

Another idea which has been (sort of) mentioned in a way. Could we not scrap all Sng and MTT free rolls and just have the Battle Weekend with 10/30 man, 8 Mins and 30% prize structure?
