Just an idea but how about simply halving the event

Run 2 games for 4 hours on a Monday 0.10/0.20 and repeat Tuesday evening same time, same setup.

We discussed an idea in the office where we add jokers each hour. If you win with joker you double your win.

1x 10 players (1st hour 1 joker, 2nd hour 2 jokers, 3rd hour 3 jokers and final hour 4 jokers)
1x 30 players (1st hour 3 joker, 2nd hour 6 jokers, 3rd hour 9 jokers and final hour 12 jokers)

For the money battle its only 1st place that gets double the prize if they have a joker.
Hopefully it would double all freespin wins if used for freespin battles, otherwise its a bit 'meh'
