I really hope some kind of replacement or compensation is coming in near future. It's not the job of players to suffer casino problems. These battles are not free. Players have lost their own money to get rights to chase rewards and win some money. So only fair option is to move these cancelled battles to the near future

Definitely those players that chased XP Battle requirements should be noticed by VS, because quite a few people deposit there for that privilege, instead of at another casino.

But then there's others who deposit and play through large amounts without even doing the Battles, so telling both groups apart would be difficult when it comes to the issue of compensating players.

These technical problems have affected Real Play too though from what I've seen, and VS don't look any closer to resolving them. I fear they may be paring them back one by one or even eventually getting shot of 'em, as they seem to be more of a burden these days to run

I would not go that far but they would lose a heck of a lot of players

As Goatie said, many with limited playing budgets, including me stick to one site to enjoy the benefits on offer. With battles gone and reduced RTP's most will move on sadly.

Let us hope it doesn't come to this, I would think it is their top retention tool and they will find a fix, albeit eventually.......

If you want people to have fun, you cant keep using the same jokes for every show.
The jokes on the Thursday show were honestly not great, so using the same jokes for the Friday&Monday show its easy to see how people are not laughing.

Even a comedy club using all the highest settings on the microphone will be expected to not always use the same jokes, high settings on the microphone is a big advantage of course because this means people can just sit in the comfy chairs and they hear all the jokes, on average people stay a little longer in this club, most of the jokes are pretty bad, but the comfy chairs and actually hearing everything makes up for it.

At the club that uses the lowest setting on the microphone, the people sitting on the floor not hearing half the jokes leave earlier on average, depending on how cold the floor is that night and/or if a rat with rabies bites them that night that is sometimes alot earlier.
But they come back anyway and sit on that floor,and try hear the jokes, they do this because the jokes are good, in fact they think the jokes are so good that its worth sitting on the floor so they can listen to them.

If the jokes are bad you need to make the club attractive in other ways, comfy chairs, cheaper drinks, making sure people hear the jokes etc.
If the jokes are great you get away with alot more, low setting on the microphone, cold floor to sit on, stray dogs running thru hole in the wall sometimes biting people etc.

If the club using the low setting on the microphone starts stealing the bad jokes from the other club instead of coming up with funny ones, i think the people visiting the club to hear the funny jokes will stop showing up.

Im trying to have fun, but hiking for 12 days to sit on the cold floor thats covered in birdshit and just getting the same jokes i can get at the other club that has comfy chairs and free nachos makes it really hard to keep thinking 'maybe next show the funny jokes will be back.

There is alot of waiting involed.
Public transport is a bit lacking here in north of Sweden, but i have a mountain frequently visited by tourists where i live.
So i hang out on the mountain waiting for one of them to fall and get injured so they call the rescue helicopter (if im in a rush i usually just push. and thats how i always do it, patience.
Of course the hospital is only sort of in the right direction, but by parachuting out halfway i usually land pretty close to a guy that has set up shop renting out kayaks to the tourists.
A kayak is of course slow, but traveling down the river for 1 full day,means that if for some reason a tourist would end up needing to call a rescue helicopter, this location will take them to a different hospital that is closer, who knows, maybe i can ride along.

After the second parachute jump i just do some walking, swimming, stabbing another one of those f*ckng tou maybe getting lucky enough to catch a ride with an ambulance going my way, and just like that im already halway there.

I really think we need a true replacement like they used to do which will more than make up for the cancelations. Like a 4 slot battle weekend all on 20p - 50p slots running for 48 hours and 10man/20man/30man/60man That would make up for the cancelations in my opinion.

But they will never ever ever in a million years do that.

The problem with Battles lately have been the queue system to payout FS winnings. When SNG was being played and a big MTT battle finished it went into loops trying to payout all at same time and crashed website. A fix has been done for this, so tomorrow the Frenzy will be played instead of yesterday. Hopefully the fix will solve the issue.

Anyway not really bothered about it getting played tomorrow tho nice if it does. Had saw the news for Thursdays battles and thought maybe they should not have posted that yet just in case.

But anyway i know there are still a few on here that will bitch and whine no matter what you say and do. But to a lot of others all it has took is that one simple statement actually letting people know why battles have been broke. I know myself that things break and do not go to plan. I just go oh well such is life. But rather than just hearing cancelled and seeing the battles keep crashing when playing them just actually getting someone that says this was the problem, this is why battles have not worked makes a big difference.
