I keep convincing myself, every week "Surely this Tuesday HAS to be the one!" - Big mistake lol.
I keep saying the same thing. Last week my score was 320, this week it's 1070 so I am in with a teensy shot. I haven't placed in the Tuesday battles in over 3 weeks. Since it started I only placed twice and I do play it each week.

My effort this week. :)

From the news:
"...
The five winners:
These are the five lucky players who will walk away with a GoPro Hero7 White Edition!..."

I had forgotten all about it. AFAIK there has only been one CM member to ever win one of the special VS prizes, Denis.

oh yes, i remember for a real good time :) it was the Flame Buster Battle Weekend... because this VS prize was based by the old rules (highest x/spin)
not a raffle prize like nowadays

Wasn't expecting much on banana rock, absolute turd of game. No free spins but somehow managed two wild lines in the base game putting me just over 120% and looks like I will scrape a bottom tier prize.

sigh
against my own better judgement, put another 100 in last night
still nowhere near qualifying for battlles; they definitely wont be getting any more deposits this month - and probably next - if hundreds of dollar on 50 cent bets can't meet the qualifying threshold

Hundreds of dollars wagered won't be enough. You need to wager over $2500+ over the last 30 days. I used to do the $500+ wagering all on one day and on the worse days, It could cost me as much as $150 in the hole. It isn't worth it at all to attempt it for the rewards. If it required 1500 XP a month, then it would still be worth it, but I always felt that 2500 XP is way too high even for low rolling.

That said... What is worth it to me is the "Tuesday Madness" since all it takes is a few good spins and the payout can be good. I just did it in the Banana Rock one getting almost 3K points and getting 37th place to win around $110+ from a $1.5+ buyin. :)

well,it was hundreds of dollars deposited, which worked to around 1800 wagered - but yeah, it's much more difficult now

So forgive my impudence, but these Tuesday Madness thingos.......one 'buys' tickets per Battle and gets a prize of sorts? If so then that's where my deposits may be headed in future

I know VS have revamped everything recently but I'm about as up-to-date with current affairs as the Kawahiva tribe of South America

And much like others, haven't actually qualified for any SnG/ Battles shenanigans since 1993

The madness is indeed a win-win because it has no WR and you get 10ish once a month and 100ish once a year (1/48 chances for a top 50 position) .....
Of cource, being random and all, you can go for months without any win and years without getting to top 50. ;)

I found this to be a bit of a let down, full screen makes no difference and pays zero

Yes pretty announcing slot because you don't get any extra spins for extra scatters, any scatter wins and it's always 7 s*itty spins whitch give you maybe 30x if you are extremely lucky. Only way to make good money in this slot is wild line. This is my hit from last month (sorry this screen shot is not from VS but I just want to show how this slot can pay).

I guess VS is soon removing battle weekends and battle nights to the history. Every signal shows that something is happening soon. No one cares about this kind of ***** anymore and I can feel it myself and also from this forum.
And that's their target. In future no one cares anymore so they can sink one of their biggest trademarks: Battle weekend and sit n go-evening.

Just my guess.

Can anyone answer this question when you activate a reward on VS do the free spins have an expiry date I know the reward itself last for 7 days but what about the actual spins could you in effect store up a years worth of battle free spins if you never played the game during the time?

Well as expected my Sabaton free spins barely paid anything but I was save by the rather bizarre Playtech Game where I had won 30 free spins from a regular VS wheel. Never heard of this game and the graphics will make you seasick but it sure can pay. I won roughly £18 from this 20p game.
